The Renegade R/T's durable compound is molded into a symmetric tread pattern featuring robust, reinforced tread blocks with tapered edges which optimize surface contact for competent dry grip. Wide center tread blocks enhance stability and control during on-road travel, while stepped block edges and staggered shoulder lugs combine for advantageous grip characteristics across many all-terrain environments. The high void and lateral grooves promote efficient water evacuation to the open shoulder notches, assisting in hydroplaning resistance and wet traction on paved surfaces. A high void ratio, plenty of sipes, and copious biting edges are designed to deliver confident traction in light snow.
Each size of the Renegade R/T features a striking dual sidewall design, giving drivers the option between wedge-shaped lugs with a bold Flaming Demon pattern or an aggressive, mud-slinging sidewall with dagger-shaped lugs. Both designs enhance traction and offer an extra level of sidewall protection.
The internal construction of the Renegade R/T consists of a durable, three-ply polyester casing and sidewall for strength and durability. A two-ply, nylon reinforcement above two steel belts further increases handling response, along with providing high-speed stability.
