Riken Raptor VR 

So the tires aren't really all that bad. Good cheap tire. Will get the average driver where they need to go. If I had more money I would have gone with Toyo Tires for the application but at the time I didn't have the money for them. Still these have worked pretty well. Under hard acceleration they slip a little more than my last tires but they hold better in the rain. If I remember I will update about the snow on these but so far its been a pretty usual summer for PA driving. They ride a bit hard but not enough to make me hate them and considering my car type I quite honest about the ride quality of tires. Overall I would personally give these a 7 - 7.5. Not bad for the money. Decent quality.

Nice tires, good price for 3-season tires. We use snow tires in winter so no rating for that dimension. The nice tread pattern fit is excellent. Drove home about 60 miles in a driving rain storm, the only issue was visibility, tires were planted and had a good feel.

2011 Camaro 2ss V8. I'm a very aggressive driver and always drive with pedal control cranked with stability and traction disabled. I do burnouts alot, these tires have lasted an impressive length of time. They don't smoke and squeal hardly at all I've done some massive burnouts with very little smoke or wear. Fun but no fun. These would last forever on grandmas car. The price was $99 each at the time of purchase. I use traction control on snow and ice and haven't had one problem. 2025/2026 Colorado winter has been mild tho. Still couldn't find a better tire for the price.

I bought these tires in July 2024. A year later and these tires are still great. I live in the snow belt of Northeast Ohio and drove through the craziest of storms. These tires exceeded my expectations 🤩!!!! I drove through 6+ inches of snow flawlessly throughout the winter. These tires are extremely affordable and are amazing for crappy weather.

The best tire in the snow outside of a dedicated snow tire. Great in the weather. On my 3rd set with over 100,000 miles on all of them. A real hidden gem. Tire wear is a little more than average but this is a real confidence inspiring tire for everyday driving.

Originally I ordered a different tire that I considered a good compromise between quality and cost. I was told they were unavailable with a back order time of at least two months. I decided to try these tires due mainly to their low price. I have been pleased and surprised by how good they are. The ride is much improved and is noticeably quiter. Both dry traction and handling is good. I would definitely buy these tires again!

Smooth ride and handles extremely well. Even several emergency highway stops engaging the anbs and at 85 mph. Tire stayed on course. It has your back as they say.

These Riken RapotorVR, are very good for the price. The ride is good. They don't make any noise. I would buy them again. And I most likely will .When it's time. The treads are good on all 4. They only have 2,500 to 3000 miles on them.

Very satisfied. I bought the tires because of the supposed quietness. They are quiet and I am pleased. Will be buying again.

My 2011 Malibu currently has 120,000 miles, and my objective was to purchase quality, safe tires while remaining within a reasonable budget. I've now driven the Riken Raptor tires approximately 1,500 miles since purchase, and I am delighted with the handling, ride comfort, and what I perceive to be an excellent value for the money. This value is even more pronounced when compared to the high-end name-brand tires I usually purchase. Moreover, in my research, several review comments noted tire noise as a concern; however, if you're like me and the car stereo is always on, usually at a low volume, the level of tire noise is not an issue. Still, what I consider "normal" for any vehicle, and not a factor I would take into consideration, just my opinion.

By the way, this is the first time I have made a tire purchase using the Tire Rack and Discount Tire combination of services. The all-around customer service experience was top-notch, making my tire purchase and installation experience a pleasure. I will not hesitate to use them for the purchase of my next set of tires!

Treadwear has been excellent. Very low noise. No unwanted issues.
