Road noise is minimal. Commands a good grip when cornering and in the rain. Glad I made this purchase!

Nice ride and very good control on water over road. Have about 4000 miles on them already and I'm very happy with them.

Very predictable tire for spirited driving at the limit, excellent wet traction, reasonable hydroplane resistance. These really shine in the wet but a fun tire for wet or dry, personally prefer these to comparable offerings from well known brands.

Was going to wait until I had some good usage to post a review, 10k later and coming back home through a major snow storm in Wyoming; I would buy these again. I had to go north up towards Jackson Wy from SLC to get back home due to I-80 being closed and these tires handled the iced over and snow blown over roads like a champ.

Great looking tires that I have been buying for years on my BMWs. Good tread life and great handling even on ice. Reasonable prices from Tire Rack.

Waited a year and a half (10k miles) to write review. Holding up great on my Legacy. Still have plenty of tread to go, handles great in the snows of PA so Nor'easters included. I'm an average driver but I like to have my fun in the snow. I've recommended this cost efficient tire to everyone that's interested around me.

My 91 Mustang is riding on Koni STRT/Koni orange. The car feels much better and smoother during cornering. I paired them with a set of Steeda lowering springs with a progressive rate and it definitely lowered the car by 1.25-.15 inches. The car is sitting on the stock 16inch Pony rims and I have no rubbing issues so far. I haven't been driving through a lot of rain so I can't comment on wet traction but with dry roads, I am very happy with these tires so far. With 3k miles on them, I see minimal to no wear yet. I wanted these tires for performance but also having an all season option for the winter.

Decent tires. My actual vehicle is a 1974 Plymouth Duster (Chose it's slightly bigger cousin the Roadrunner as it was the only option).
With upgraded aftermarket suspension so it handles and corners much better than stock.

On dry pavement these tires are awesome. Great responsiveness in the twisties and good traction overall.
Good comfort levels, noise levels is fairly good.
On wet pavement, traction and cornering became a little sketchy at times but tolerable.
However in winter it starts to have problems:
In light snow 1 inch (2.5cm) and under it's ok, did alright in light slushy conditions.
In deeper snow over 1 in. (2.5cm) it starts fall flat fast. Practically useless in 4 inches (10cm) or more snow/slush.
Poor performance in icy conditions.
Summary: The tires are great in dry conditions and does have good/tolerable performance capabilities on wet roads.
These are decent in light snow conditions only.
I've driven in 3+ inches of snow before using dedicated winter tires with no issues. I actually tried to drive in 3.5 to 4 inches of snow with these tires before as a test. I made it to about 600 feet before I couldn't go anywhere. And that's with over 100lbs in the trunk.
I put the winter tires on and had no issues after that.

I'm on my second set which I bought when they were on sale. Price was so good, I ordered two sets. I will be using the same tyres when I can find more when these are shot. Great grip and traction. Very precise steering response.

First impressions are very positive. I was looking for a reasonably priced all season tire and purchased this one based on the reviews and price. Ride comfort is exactly what I was looking for, extremely quiet ride.

This is my 2nd set of tires from Tirerack. These Rikens are very nice tires. I have only 500 miles on them so far however, they are both stable and quiet while cornering and at freeway speeds.

I bought the Rikens primarily because I drive <2000 miles per year. My previous Continental ExtremeContact tires still had treadlife remaining however they were 12 years old and thats my limit on time.

This time, I didnt want to pay the higher cost for a set of replacement Continentals (and throw away some treadlife) but at the same time, I didnt want to sacrifice handling or comfort. So I opted for these Rikens and couldnt be happier. With a treadwear rating of only 300, they are perfect for people who still want high performing tires but who dont drive a lot of miles.

If you are a higher mileage driver, go for the Continentals. But if you are a low mileage drive like me, you will be very happy with these Rikens (and save some money!).

Driven 12k of mostly highway. This is a great bang for your buck tire. The road noise has been increasing slightly as they wear. I'm at a tread depth of 7-8/32 for all tires.

Have been Very pleased with this set of tires. I have had Continentals, Michelin, and Dunlop on this car and none have had as good of tire wear as these. BMW Z-3's are known for wearing the inside of the tires Very quickly due to the camber of this car. I drove from Fl to Iowa just after buying these, and the wear is not even noticeable at this time. The wet performance is very good, even in the Florida Summer thunder storms. For the money these are the best I have had on this car in her 22 years. Will defiantly buy again when needed.

To start off, the helpful information and kindness of the Tire Rack employees I delt with, was amazing to say the least. This is coming from someone who spent 17 years in customer service. I will never buy tires anywhere else. As for the tires, for an affordable ultra-high performance, exceeded all expectations. They definitely are not as quality and high performing as Toyo's but not far off. The price makes you second guess purchasing them. At a third of the cost of other brands in this category, I was blown away at how close they performed to the best. I treated mine with 303, inside and out the day they arrived. I have rotated them and 303 treated the outside every oil change. I swear after 16,553 of fairly aggressive driven miles, the tires/tread look brand new. I could not be happier with my purchase.
