Customers praise the Cooper Discoverer STT PRO's wet traction, with most ratings between 8-10. High scores highlight excellent grip and stability in wet off-road conditions, while some 7s still reflect reliable performance for a maximum traction tire. Hydroplaning resistance also earns strong 8-10 scores, reinforcing confident wet-weather capability.

...Rock crawling mixed with wet mud on a 45 deg. incline...didn't even break traction with them aired down to 15psi...
I had a set of (5) 37/11.5/R17's on my 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited Rubicon for 45,000+ miles (all 5 rotated every 10,000 miles) in every terrain South Louisiana can through at them. I also made a 3000 mile trip to Gatlinburg, TN to Buffalo, NY then back to New Orleans, LA in 5 days and they preformed flawlessly. These tires are amazing! Quietest road noise of any mud tire out there! They handle exceptional on road in daily driving, my 21 mile (one way) trip to and from work on highway was a Brees. The city roads and even the extreme pot holes on the streets of downtown New Orleans felt non-existent. The Off Road traction and capabilities of these tires are outstanding! Rock crawling mixed with wet mud on a 45 deg. incline...didn't even break traction with them aired down to 15psi. You want a tire that will give you (in my opinion) the best multi purpose use daily...Look no further!
NOTE: This was my first ever set of mud tires, didn't really expect to get 45,000 miles. I really should have rotated them much more often...I started to get some vibration in the front end around 35,000 miles. Now, part of this was do to not having adjustable track bars front and rear of my Jeep when I installed the 2" Mopar lift causing ware and tare. The other part was the tire rotation intervals...had I done them every 3,000 miles, I would have prolonged the life of the tires to 60,000 mile easily and prevented some of the ware and tare on the steering components. The uneven ware caused by the lack of rotations made the vibrations and noise in the tires to much.

...they're great in the mud and deep snow but absolutely terrible on ice, again it's a mud tire though...
I've heard people complain about the noise these tires make but it's a mud tire what do you expect. they're great in the mud and deep snow. but absolutely terrible on ice, again it's a mud tire though. they're wearing pretty evenly and I try to rotate them every 5-8k. look great, really aggressive tread if that's what you're looking for.

I have not encountered a situation where I was disappointed with traction...
I have been very happy with these tires. I drive mostly highway to work but try to get off road on the weekend as much as possible. Noise on the highway is noticeably louder than stock which is to be expected. They are quieter so far than I expected with the size of the lugs. The off road performance has exceeded my expectations. I have done mostly hardpack, sand, and light mud. I have not encountered a situation where I was disappointed with traction. I plan on replacing these with the same tire again. Wear has not been noticeable in the 4000 miles I have driven them. I usually air down to around 15psi when I hit the dirt. I have these paired with some method 702 wheels so I will be trying to air down a little bit more at a time to see how they perform at a lower pressure.

COOPER truck tires are the best kept secret in off road tires. Unbelivable quality, tread life, ultra quiet and can make a mediocre 4x4 a trail monster. Economically priced. I learned of these tires when my buddy lifted his new DT Ram and was floored at how killer they are!!!! Ive bought COOPER in the past and always had terrific luck, but when putting tires on 4x4 pickup with a lift kit I only would buy BF Goodwich All Terrain K/O's, Goodyear MT/R Kevelar or Mickey Thompson Baja's. These COOPER truck tires are just as good and better in a few areas.

First of all fast service , #1 in my book, the tires are the best i have ever owned. I plow snow and live on a dirt road. I never have traction issues . I would recommend these tires to anyone that wants the confidence to get where they are going!!!! I'm willing to take a little road noise for great traction.

Customers rate ride comfort highly with many 9s and 10s, praising smooth off-road performance. Some note occasional harshness, but most find it excellent for rugged terrain. Noise levels vary, though scores between 7-8 show solid comfort for maximum traction tires.

My second set of the SST Pro's and still am very impressed with the ride comfort, handling in all terrain types, and longevity. Noise is a little loud but that's expected with such an aggressive tire. Constantly get complements on how they look. I got about 55k on my first set. I've driven over snow covered donner summit and never had any trouble with traction. They're on the expensive side but definitely worth the investment.

...I'd say the biggest sacrifice you need to consider when purchasing this tire is how much do you value quite ride and comfort? Highly recommended running what the vehicle manufacture tire pressure specs are in these tires... After a year i decided to put it back to 32psi and what a difference!!...
Tires looks are second to none! Best looking tire for a truck period. Tire is used for mainly daily driving with the idea of weekend warrior and some. For a daily driver, it's not a bad at all for an off-road tire. I'd say the biggest sacrifice you need to consider when purchasing this tire is how much do you value quite ride and comfort? Highly recommended running what the vehicle manufacture tire pressure specs are in these tires. Place I had install the tires recommended me to run these at 55psi . After a year i decided to put it back to 32psi and what a difference!! I have put about 45,000 on these bad boys and i still have 10.5/32 of tread left. If you like compliments buy these tires!!

...These tires are not for the person looking for a smooth and quiet ride... Noisy...but not mud grappler noisy...
This would be my second set of STT PROS. The first set was on my Ram 2500. These tires are not for the person looking for a smooth and quiet ride. I have had no balancing issues with these tires. They look amazing on my truck in my opinion. They are awesome offroad and in the mud. Even when not in 4wd. Really good in the snow. Noisy.......but not mud grappler noisy. I think the good out weighs the bad here. Besides the noise I love these tires but feel they are more at home on an HD truck. My 2 cents. Thanks for reading.

...Good looking, long tread wear, puncher resistant... need to be rotated as required...
This tire is great. Everything it promised to be. Good looking, long tread wear, puncher resistant. The only thing I can think off as a negative is they are noisy and need to be rotated as required. I will buy them again and again.

Do not balance well, have had them balanced twice now. First 4k miles feels like you're driving on ice, vehicle wanders a lot, starts to settle down after some miles on them, still won't balance though. Tread wear has been good so far, bought them do to tread design and size was out of stock in my preferred brand, will probably not buy again unless unable to get the brand I want. Definitely not the worst tire I have owned, but far from what I expected at the price.
