The Cobra Radial G/T is Cooper's Performance All-Season tire developed to combine responsive handling and comfortable operation with all-season capabilities for the drivers of muscle cars, kit cars, light trucks and street rods looking for white-lettered performance tires. Blackwall and white-letter versions of the Cobra Radial G/T feature a stylized, Cobra Design Sidewall on the reverse side, allowing drivers to choose between the traditional, block-letter styling or the aggressive cobra design. The Cobra Radial G/T is designed to provide a smooth, quiet ride and year-round traction in dry, wet and wintry conditions, even in light snow.

The Cobra Radial G/T features classic looks and modern performance. Utilizing an optimized, all-season compound, the tread pattern is designed with a specific focus on void ratio to maximize rubber-to-road contact for handling performance. The notched, continuous center rib provides solid on-center feel, and the tread element shape focuses on resisting uneven wear while delivering confident traction. Wide, circumferential grooves and open shoulder slots efficiently evacuate water from the footprint to resist hydroplaning, and the tire's independent tread blocks create multiple biting edges to improve all-season traction and provide year-round capability.

Internal construction of the Cobra Radial G/T consists of two low-stretch polyester casing plies to balance handling response with ride comfort, and two high-strength steel belts support the tread for stability.

I've run BFG Radial TAs forever, but they lacked performance in the wet. These Coopers are a step up in that department and are great all around.

...wet traction, like any one legger diff means a spin off the line but the rest performs great...

Ever since I bought my s10, these are the only tires it sees. Daily commuting is a treat. Running down the curvy back roads, if you could forget about the weight of the truck, those tires punch well above their class. hauling firewood, they take the road perfectly. wet traction, like any one legger diff means a spin off the line but the rest performs great. So much so that I've gotten a set for my 66' El Camino. of course, the raised white lettering has to be on the visible side and unlike the FAR MORE EXPENSIVE BF Goodrich's, these don't discolor over time. not to mention, $100 cheaper a tire vs the latter.

...Traction in the wet is good for average driving, with excellent response, good cornering and braking.

Outstanding cornering for a basic performance tire. So much grip in the dry in medium-speed, tight turns that I do not need to correct for over-steer, even at 10-15 mph over the posted corner speed in a decreasing-radius sweeping turn in a classic Mustang with a light rear end. Beats my old Dunlops and my friends' BF Goodrich performance tires on similar cars. On top of that the tires are quiet and got me out of snow and ice last winter with no problems. Braking performance is also very good. Traction in the wet is good for average driving, with excellent response, good cornering and braking.

...As a dry season or track tire they are more than what I could ask for; with a 255 wide tire they keep my truck planted on the autocross track. They also stay sticky for quite some time afterwards too...

Good dry weather tires, but if it rains be ready to break loose. I could break the rear tires loose in my 30 year old pickup real easy if it had just rained. Couldn't tear through a paper bag if your on wet grass or --- forbid mud. As a dry season or track tire they are more than what I could ask for; with a 255 wide tire they keep my truck planted on the autocross track. They also stay sticky for quite some time afterwards too. I can't put another tire on my truck after these, can't give anything higher than a 8/10 cause of the poor wet performance though.

...Being that this set is on a 1972 Cutlass Convertible, I do mostly cruising around back roads, and the ride is comfortable.

I haven’t put a lot of hours/miles on the tires yet. Being that this set is on a 1972 Cutlass Convertible, I do mostly cruising around back roads, and the ride is comfortable.

...they are responsive, quiet and comfortable dry.

Despite being a slightly softer tire compound, my 450hp 77 Malibu shreds these tires. Don’t drive in the rain but they are responsive, quiet and comfortable dry.
