The P Zero AS Plus 3 writes another exciting chapter in the story of Ultra High Performance All-Season tires, continuing Pirelli's popular P Zero line. Channeling the spirit of their Formula 1 heritage and developed for the enthusiast drivers of sports cars, coupes and luxury sedans to deliver the performance they expect all year without having to worry about swapping out their tires from season-to-season. Dry, rain, or even light snow, the P Zero AS Plus 3 was designed for all of it.

Following up on the success of its predecessor, the P Zero AS Plus 3 introduces new polymer blend technology from Pirelli aimed to target improvement across all categories. This next-generation compound is built on its forerunners' strengths for higher levels of traction and longer mileage, thanks to stiffer material compounds and an optimized footprint.

P Zero AS Plus 3 callouts

The carefully engineered, asymmetric tread pattern features minimized void space for maximum contact with the road surface, increasing overall grip and improving wear characteristics. Larger, pitch-sequenced shoulder blocks improve dry handling while minimizing tread noise; the freshly optimized pattern features a larger footprint for even wear and enhanced cornering performance. Grooves and channels are integrated into the tread, designed to work in unison for predictable wet performance and hydroplaning resistance. The P Zero AS Plus 3 employs a variety of sipes focused on retaining traction in slippery winter weather with increased biting edges while maintaining reliable clear road handling characteristics. Additional 3D siping built into select tread blocks delivers further stability in all weather conditions.

The tire's internal structure features a polyester body with twin steel belts for increased responsiveness to driver input, while two polyamide reinforcement plies offer the reinforcement needed to maintain predictable handling and durability at high speed.

My girlfriend asked me to find good tires for her car, and after some research, I chose these. They offer impressive grip in wet and dry conditions for an all season tire. There's no hint of under or oversteer, braking is solid, and traction is very good.

They're surprisingly quiet and smooth for a non-touring tire. In the noise and comfort category, they are way better than the Toyo Proxes Sports that are on my '20 Civic Hatchback Sport.

The price was also hard to beat with the $100 instant rebate during the spring promotion.

Hopefully, they'll never be driven in snow, slush, or ice, so I can't comment on those conditions.

These tires have been fantastic. They've lived up to my expectations of them and provide fantastic grip in all of the dry conditions I've experienced. The weather weather grip gives me an uncomfortable level of confidence in these tires. I often dry fleet vehicles for my employment and recently was caught in a downpour that made it difficult to see out the windshield, that vehicle felt dangerous and I turned around and I went and got my own vehicle that was equipped with the Perreli tires. Same down pour, same road, nearly same conditions, but the Perreli tires felt solid with zero hydroplaning. Ive drove in light snow and ice and under reasonable driving conditions I had no problem in my area. If my car sits off the ground high enough to travel the roadway, I have no problem leaving my home (again, while driving with common sense). I intend to buy these tires (or maybe an upgrade version if available when I need tires again). These tires have inspired a great deal of confidence in my commute to work and my occassional spirited driving days. Also the warranty on the tires are fantastic. I had picked up a couple nails in one tire and the shop refused the service and tire rack made it super easy and convenient to get a new tire put on. Very satisfied with my purchase overall and intend to use tirerack in the future.

I recently had to travel to Kansas City from southwest FL during all the recent snow/ice that covered much of the east united states. I got to drive on 10 -12 miles of two lane roads in MS, no thanks to Google Maps, which had not been snow plowed so all you see are two tire tracks in the middle of the road. While these tires were nearly new when I drove down these snow/ice covered roads they did an excellent job. I was able to keep going, even after meeting oncoming traffic and have to move out of the two tire tracks and navigate the 6-8 inch deep snow/ice. I can't say enough, these tires got me through, even when temporarily stuck after moving over for oncoming traffic, I just backed up a bit and moved forward best I could to free myself.
The tires are rock stable are highway speeds, quiet and wet/dry traction are as advertised. You won't be disappointed.

...Being in the middle of winter, I've been avoiding driving in the snow, but when I did, traction was definitely improved...

Preliminary thoughts after the first 700 miles: These Pirellis were a pleasant surprise. Granted, my OEM Goodyears were in dire need of replacement and any new tires would be better, but the Pirellis were immediately noticeable as providing a smoother ride. It was a toss up between these and Continentals. The Tire Rack instant discount persuaded me to go with Pirelli but I'm sure the Contis are a very good choice too. Being in the middle of winter, I've been avoiding driving in the snow, but when I did, traction was definitely improved. In Rainy weather, the car handled well too. But again, since it's a new set of tires and it's been exceptionally cold, I've been driving very conservatively. Looking forward to pushing them harder when it warms up. Thus far, no complaints. Quite happy with these tires.

...Dry road cornering, steering, and traction are all excellent. Before, the Charger's 'Sport' driving option wasn't much of a change in actual handling and feel. Now there is a definite difference...

I found the noise levels on this tire to be quite surprising. These are the quietest tires I've ever had and that's saying a lot after 50+ years of driving.

Dry road cornering, steering, and traction are all excellent.
Before, the Charger's 'Sport' driving option wasn't much of a change in actual handling and feel. Now there is a definite difference. The slightly stiffer suspension on 'Sport' increases cornering and handling, now, and has a little more wheel feedback. With the old tires I didn't notice much of a difference on 'Sport' because the old tires apparently weren't that great (and they weren't cheap tires).

I am quite impressed with these tires and would definitely purchase them, again.

(NOTE: I have no rating for wet or winter because I simply don't do 'spirited' driving in adverse weather, anymore, so I have no experience to rate.)

...For spirited, non-track use in most weather conditions, I thought the DWS06+ was the best (based on previous experience), the PZero ASPlus3 is better, in my experience...

My 2nd set of these tires; I have a narrower set for winter use on another car. For daily driving the Civic Type R, I find this to be an excellent all around tire with outstanding performance. Moving to 18s from the OEM Michelin PS4S 19s resulted in more stability and better cornering on rough surfaces, more control over small, sharp impacts, and much quieter ride with touring-tire levels of rolling smoothness. Wet traction is excellent, very good steering feel / turn-in. For spirited, non-track use in most weather conditions, I thought the DWS06+ was the best (based on previous experience), the PZero ASPlus3 is better, in my experience. Too early to tell about treadwear, and it's unlikely I'll be driving in snowy conditions., but they'll see cold, dry weather.

...What a difference in comfort. Absolutely quiet and comfortable compared to the 19s with those all season growlers...

Bought a used set of OEM 18" wheels and changed over to the 245/45R18 to gain some rim protection compared to the OEM 19" sport wheels with Michelin CC2s in OEM size. What a difference in comfort. Absolutely quiet and comfortable compared to the 19s with those all season growlers. Performance is at least as good with a notiacble improvement in steering feel and despite the vague steering of the Tesla these are more confidence inspiring than the CC2s. Will report back with more as the miles rack up.

I am very impressed by these. Pirelli was not a top choice for me or my shop for years. The last two sets of tires I used were Michelin Pilot Sport A/S followed by Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+. They were both competent tires but they didn't last as long as I'd hoped, and both sets started to crack before they hit 5/32" after a few years. These P Zero A/S still legit look almost new after 25,000 km. Aside from that, they are quieter, more responsive, and grip better than the Michelin A/S 3+ they replaced. Highly recommend for a performance all season.
