The g-Force Comp-2 A/S PLUS is BFGoodrich's Ultra High Performance All-Season tire developed for sports car, sporty coupe, performance sedan and modern muscle car driving enthusiasts. Engineered to improve wet handling, wet braking and snow traction over its predecessor, the g-Force Comp-2 A/S PLUS is designed to (A)ccelerate faster, (B)rake shorter and provide more (C)ontrol in all seasons to deliver BFG's ABCs of Ultra High Performance All-Season driving, even in light snow.

Featuring the proven tread pattern of its predecessor, the g-Force Comp-2 A/S PLUS utilizes an updated tread compound designed to increase traction levels in wet and snow, without sacrificing dry traction or treadlife. The tire features squared off shoulders and wraparound tread elements for block rigidity that help inspire confident dry handling. Hydroplaning resistance is aided by an aggressive V-shaped directional pattern, with angled lateral and longitudinal grooves to combine dry, wet and wintertime traction with satisfying longevity.

The g-Force Comp-2 A/S PLUS incorporates BFGoodrich's Performance Racing Core construction. This includes their Equal TEnsion Containment System (ETEC System) of spirally wrapped nylon above twin steel belts, optimizing the tire's contact patch. G-Control Sidewall inserts help blend ride comfort with responsive handling.

I have never had a UHP all-season tire with this level of performance in the rain. The grip and resistance to hydroplaning is absolutely ridiculous in the wet... even in a full downpour. I've tried other UHP all-seasons, and prior to this, my go-to was the Continental Conti-Extreme Contact DWS, and though the Contis may be a hair ahead of these in the snow, these BFGs are so far ahead of the Contis in the wet (even though the Contis are not BAD), I will buy these for as long as they're available, ESPECIALLY at the price.

...It has been on the track in wet and dry and holds its own with the best...

Unbelievably excellent every season tire. It has been on the track in wet and dry and holds its own with the best. It has been driven in the snow with security and good traction. It is comfortable and responds extremely well to driver input. Best of all it does not break the bank to own. Highly recommend

...Rain and Snow, also very good, hydroplaning-I only remember that happening more often after they were about 4 or more years old. Now in the rain and snow, I am a very cautious driver. And the only winter where I could feel the traction getting bad was this past winter 2024/2025...

I bought these tires brand new around Christmas 2018. About 2 years ago (2023) I had a 4 inch screw sticking out of the tread right next to the sidewall, and after a mechanic Plugged it, the mechanic say I should think about getting some new tires soon. The plug has held for 2 years, and Im the type of driver that if the tires are all pretty much equally worn, there is still good traction, and there are no thread bare spots, I just keep on rotating them like normal.

Fast forward to today, September 18 2025. I just bought new tires today, (Bridgestone Potenza's), which are very similar to these BF Goodrich COMP-2 A/S Plus, and although I know should have changed them a year or more ago, because it's been 7 years and 9 months since these tires were purchased and installed! I have to say, these are ---- good tires!!! Yes, I went too long, and I feel vibration from the worn tires now, but still, 7 years!

For the first few years I immediately noticed how well they handled in all conditions.

Dry conditions, I had to consciously remind myself, this is a passenger Mazda 6 not a race car. Because this car handles very well, but with these tires, the handling was excellent!
Rain and Snow, also very good, hydroplaning-I only remember that happening more often after they were about 4 or more years old. Now in the rain and snow, I am a very cautious driver. And the only winter where I could feel the traction getting bad was this past winter 2024/2025. But still thats 6 years almost to the date of purchase.

Overall review for first 4 years:
10 stars for handling in most conditions
8/9 Stars for handling in rain, snow
7/8 Stars for handling in deep puddles of water on road or ice / compacted snow

Between 4 Years to 6 years of Use (after mechanic recommended New Tires Soon Summer 2023)
7/8 stars for handling in most conditions
6/7 Stars for handling in rain, snow
5/6 Stars for handling in deep puddles of water on road or ice / compacted snow

I do not use these tires in the Winter as I use snow tires during that time of year.

I have only used these tires for about 3,000 miles during Spring, Summer and Fall last year and just put them back on. I like these tires as they have great wet weather traction and I feel confident while cornering, braking or on the highway in the rain. They also have great dry weather traction. They're quiet, ride comfortable and just feel good under me. I would buy these again and recommend them. I do not use these tires in the Winter as I use snow tires during that time of year.

...they stick you to the road like riding a rail...

these are wonderful sport tires that preform better than any i have tried in the past. this is my 3rd set.
they stick you to the road like riding a rail. and wet road driving is really good.
BUT, they do not last. i get only 2 summer seasons out of them.
be prepared to replace them every 25k or so if you put them on a sport car.
still; worth every penny if you like to DRIVE.

...The BF Goodrich g-Force Comp-2 tires gave a surprising more comfortable ride and much better performance on winding roads. A great upgrade on my Cooper S.

...Things that stand out are Comfort, Quiet, Tracking and Tire wear...

I have used the BF Goodrich GForce on my last 4 cars and like pretty much liked everything.
Things that stand out are Comfort, Quiet, Tracking and Tire wear. The first car that I used
this tire on was a 2014 Toyota FRS (Scion). I put 160,000 miles on the car and 110,000 of those
were on 2 sets if the BFG GForce, with no problems.

It's been a year, but I don't have a ton of experience with these tires as this is my autocross/track day car. These tires are for driving around town/getting me to the track. No experience with wet yet, but around town they're a much more comfortable ride than the Michelin PS4s were, hopefully a little more wet traction if I were to encounter it. Price is great too. No complaints so far!

Breaking Down Tire Performance Categories - 2024 Special Test With Winter Update(26:05)

We understand that tire performance categories can be confusing. You want an all-season tire, but there are several all-season categories; how do you know which one is right for you? You want a summer tire, but again, which summer category? In this special demonstration, we took six all-season tires from three all-season categories and three summer tires from two summer categories to lay it out for you. Category-leading tires from the Standard Touring All-Season, Grand Touring All-Season, Ultra High Performance All-Season, Max Performance Summer, and Extreme Performance Summer categories are tested so you can see exactly what each "step up" gets you as a driver and what trade-offs were made along the way.
