The Scorpion MS features a modern compound formulation with specialized polymers and resins designed to enhance grip and braking performance in both wet and dry conditions. This compound is molded into a new symmetric tread pattern engineered for comfort and all-season versatility. A customized pitch sequence, combined with optimized groove spacing and inclination, significantly reduces road noise for a quieter driving experience. Four circumferential grooves channel water effectively through the contact patch and out through lateral notches to combat hydroplaning. When the weather turns cold, the Scorpion MS features sipes that increase the tread's ability to trap snow for improved light-snow traction.
Internal construction of the Scorpion MS features a dual-ply polyester casing supporting two steel belts. A polyamide reinforcement cap is added for enhanced high-speed stability and performance.
