Pirelli Scorpion WeatherActive Crossover & SUV Tires in 265/60R18

Wet traction is great. Confident in rain. Quiet. Definitely a preferred tire for in climate weather short of switching to an actual snow tire.

I'm extremely happy with these tires. They perform great in snow as well as on wet pavement. They are also quiet rolling down the road. I would definitely recommend these to others.

Had this tire for over 2 years on my 2015 BMW X5 with aftermarket rims. I live in New York City so the roads are not great after rough winters with plenty of snow. This year, we had 2 feet of snow and icy roads due to sub zero temps for several weeks in a row. Had ZERO issues with traction. The four wheel drive helps of course. And assuming you are completely flooring it in snow and ice, these tires are amazing for all-seasons. Drove through 6 inches of unplowed snow with no problems. In the rain, they are equally as great. My wheels are a little louder than most simply because of my aftermarket rims. But these tires are good with noise and would likely be much better if I went back to my 18s. Overall, I am very pleased. Perform like good summers and winters. Best all-seasons you can find.

This tire is very good in the snow, as I have driven in two separate storms in Upstate New York. They build confidence in slushy conditions and are fantastic on dry pavement. They are not noisy, and I recommend them for anyone not wanting to worry about swapping snow tires in the winter and all seasons in the summer.

Only 1000 miles so far, but those miles consisted of light and heavy rain, light and deep snow, and ice conditions. They performed well, better than I had expected - even up and down hill on ice (nothing is great on ice, but we were able to get up and down some fairly steep hilly roads covered in ice). I would highly recommend this tire.

I slid trying to get off a patch of grass with these tires. Wrong tire for my truck. My fault. Absolutely useless in any sort of weather.

These tires made this a new car compared to OEM tires.. Negligible difference in mpg. Handling is much more responsive and safe in all conditions. I find I can drive faster and feel safer. I have driven for days in several snow storms in the mountains of Maine and these tires are great..Much better than all season tires. Rain and wet handling has been secure at speed. Dry handling has been great. Just at the dealer and tires show no wear. A wonderful tire for all conditions. !!

My highway driving is on twisty mountain roads in dry and wet conditions. These tires give far more confidence in these conditions than the OEM tires. They shaved a couple of miles off the MPG performance.

I’m very pleased with the Pirelli Scorpion Weatheractive. Ride comfort is excellent, with firm grip and sure handling. Today I revved up and slammed on the brakes on a completely iced-over parking lot, and the tires gripped well and brought the Q5 to a stop quickly, with no yawing or loss of control. Overall, I think the tires are as good as advertised.

Drove with these in the recent snowstorm that dumped almost 2 ft of snow in the Boston area on the freeway and city streets. Also fooled around a bit in an empty parking lot doing sharp turns and sudden stops. These tires performed like a champ. Felt very secure and planted on the road. Some sliding around in deeper snow, but not too bad at reasonable speeds. I live in a condo building, so I don’t have space for an extra set of tires and wanted a good, versatile set. They're obviously not going to perform as well as dedicated winter tires on snow and ice, but for all-weathers, they're outstanding. Also with excellent wet performance with minimal hydroplaning at high speeds. Way better than my previous Goodyear WeatherReady Assurance tires (1st version), though they did last a long time (70k+ miles). So far, I have almost 2000 miles on the Pirelli's. Fuel economy did drop by around 2 MPG overall - certainly not insignificant, but I sure feel secure and awesome driving on these tires. I'd say I drive more aggressively than the average person. Road noise is not bad at all from my perspective and no worse than my previous tires. Ride is also smoother than my previous set

Mileage is down a little, but the improved traction and safety in the upstate NY conditions I feel make up for that over the OEM tires imho.

Tires have been a pleasant surprise. They handle better than the factory originals and are very quiet, which I wasn't expecting considering the relatively firm handling and ride. I've only got 9900 miles on these tires, so we'll have to wait to see how tread wear and noise (so far so good for both) fair over time.

These Pirelli Scorpion tires have delivered, big time! Good traction, good stability, excellent treadwear. I would absolutely buy another set of Pirelli tires for our other vehicle.
