The Pinza HT is Vredestein's Highway All-Season tire designed for drivers of crossovers, SUVs and pickup trucks looking for a tire with pleasant road manners balanced with durability and predictable handling. Pinza HT tires are engineered to provide capable traction on dry and wet roads, as well as in light snow.

The symmetric pattern of the Pinza HT is molded from an all-season tread compound intended to provide ease of rotation to promote even tread wear. Larger shoulder blocks help stabilize cornering forces for surefooted handling in high center of gravity vehicles and under heavy loads. The independent tread blocks are staggered to help minimize tread noise with generous pass-through notches that help evacuate water into the large circumferential grooves, increasing hydroplaning resistance. Tread blocks feature dense, zig-zag siping designed to provide biting edges for traction in slippery, wet and wintry conditions.

Internal construction of the Pinza HT consists of two high-strength steel belts supported by a robust, two-ply polyester casing with an additional polyamide cap-ply for stability at highway speeds.

...The last track event was in cold rain so getting there I found that the truck's traction in colder weather pouring rain was much improved with no hydroplaning felt at highways speeds. Front wheels felt good and planted going thru hills at highway speeds with none of that front end lightness a trailer can cause...

I use my Tacoma truck for towing my Miata race car on a trailer with all the gear in the bed to tracks events at some distances from my home. During the last of this year events in November vehicle tech inspections for the truck and trailer part, I found concerning cracks between the treads of the five year old OEM truck tires. Tire Rack quickly got these replacements to my local installer with an install appointment set, all done efficiently during the online tire purchase. I needed a high quality truck tire to protect my investments in tow and make it to the tracks safely for some fun. My purchase decision of these newer brand tires to the USA was based on analysis using Tire Rack's test and comparison data. This unbiased product testing and evaluation that Tire Rack does to help me make smart decisions and install service help makes them stand head and shoulders above the rest as my go to for street and racing tires.

So far, I have experienced both wet and dry driving with these truck tires while towing with good confidence built. The last track event was in cold rain so getting there I found that the truck's traction in colder weather pouring rain was much improved with no hydroplaning felt at highways speeds. Front wheels felt good and planted going thru hills at highway speeds with none of that front end lightness a trailer can cause. I do use rear suspension airbags to level the truck under full load, which is at the max capacity for the Tacoma. While driving the truck unhitched, the ride is comfortable and no loud tire noise. The tires look cool and at the ready on the truck too with the textured sidewalls. I feel like I made no tradeoffs with these truck tires and they will get me back home with the trophy of an undamaged race car.

Great tires in all temperatures and weather conditions. The stock Continental tires on my brand new Ford Maverick had bulges in the sidewalls. Continental said it was normal, which I found hard to believe, but accepted it... until my left rear stock tire blew out at just 3K miles! I decided to replace all 4 tires on the truck. Reviews on Vredestein tires were favorable, so I gave it a shot. These tires are more smooth, more quiet and have much better traction in all weather conditions, over the stock tires the truck came with, and there are no side-wall bulges either. I hope my long-term opinion of these tires remains favorable. Early on, I would highly recommend Vredestein brand tires.

...Dry traction and corning is excellent...

These tires seem like they are going to last a long time. With the open side tread design they should be good in wet weather and avoid hydroplaning. Dry traction and corning is excellent. With the straight tread pattern the tires to track with the groves in the highway.

So far (although early) the tires have preformed excellent. Nice ride and good dry grip. We just took a 2700 mile trip and they were flawless. Not noisy. Crazy, but have not been in the rain yet. So far an excellent buy, especially for the price. This is my second set and I am well pleased.
