Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season tires are for drivers who want a combination of sophisticated low-profile tires/large rim diameter wheels to enhance their vehicle's appearance with all-season versatility, including traction in light snow. Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season tires branded with the M+S symbol are sometimes used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on 2WD and 4WD light- and medium-duty crossover and sport utility vehicles.

O.E. Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season light truck tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle’s original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. tires' performance category and specifications.

NOTE: Run-flat tires are only recommended for vehicles that are originally equipped with self-supporting run-flat tires and equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system.

Customers Say

Customer feedback data reveals strong performance in comfort, with many praising the smooth, quiet ride and refined highway manners. Treadwear shows variability, with some customers reporting excellent longevity while others note premature wear concerns. Winter traction receives positive marks for light snow capability, though ice performance proves less consistent. Wet traction earns reliable scores for confident handling in rain, while dry traction stands out as a highlight with near-perfect ratings for grip and responsive cornering. As an all-season Crossover/SUV tire, it delivers well-rounded touring performance, though treadlife experiences may depend heavily on driving habits and conditions.

I've had other runflat ties and didn't like them but this Bridgestone is wonderful. It almost reminds me of a Michelin Pilot. It corners great and does not flatten out in hard corners. Due to having all wheel drive, I can stomp it at stop lights during a hard rain and not spin a tire. The turbo lights up and I am first off the line. Still no spinning. Road noise is about as good as can be. It is not as quiet as pilots but on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being loud, I rate the noise level at 3. I've yet to encounter hydroplaning very much. I haven't seen any snow yet.

I rarely slow down on rain-slick roads and have found these tires stick to the roads when wet...

I am on my 2nd set of these great tires. I'm not a fan of rft's but these tires are helping me to like them. I drive hard and mostly fast. I like to be first off the line at a stoplight and hate it when someone passes me while I am going the speed limit, which is often. I drive hard in corners and usually go about 15-20mph or more around corners. I've taken a BMW high-performance driving school which I believe made me not only a safer driver but a faster one too. This past winter, I drove in 6-8" of snow and had no problems. All wheel drive helps too. I rarely slow down on rain-slick roads and have found these tires stick to the roads when wet. Cornering?!?! Love it. They're not Michelin Pilots but they're darned close to it.

...I have also driven the vehicle in light snow here in Illinois. In my opinion, these tires do a better job in the light snow...

My 2018 BMW X5 came with Michelin Latitude HP Run-Flat tires as OE fitment. I took delivery of the vehicle on a day when the roads were covered with fresh snow. The tires were unable to get acceptable traction in light snow conditions. Even at that time, I made the decision to replace those tires early in their life cycle because of this performance characteristic. Customer reviews of both the Michelin Latitude and the Pirelli Scorpion Run-Flats on the Tire Rack website were not giving strong endorsements on either brand. While checking out the Tire Rack website last fall, I saw a new option on Run-Flats was being offered. That was the Bridgestome Alenza Sport A/S RFT tires. The tire was so new, there were not even any customer reviews to read. I figured the Bridgestone product couldn't be any worse so I placed the order. It should be noted that the Michelins only had 23,000 miles, and there was still 3mm of tread above the wear bars. I have only put 3,500 miles on the Alenza tires which included a winter trip to Connecticut from Illinois. I have also driven the vehicle in light snow here in Illinois. In my opinion, these tires do a better job in the light snow. They are also relatively quiet for Run-Flats and ride quality is very acceptable. My view is that Bridgestone applied some of their tread design engineering of the Blizzak line to the Alenza product. These tires were OE fitment on Mercedes SUVs and since then, BMW has made them OE fitment on the new BMW X7. This early in the game, I have no idea of tread life, but I do monitor tire pressure regularly and I do rotate tires on a regular basis. I believe on SUV applications, this is critical to good tire life. In summary, I am quite satisfied with my purchase decision at this point in the life cycle of these tires.

...Drive great, stop great, even in snow...

Purchased to replace the OEM tire with same tire model again. Drive great, stop great, even in snow. Only disappointment would be poor tread life on the original rear set (beyond wear bars by 19,000 miles.)

...The steering response and handling feel a little softer and turn in isnt as sharp as it used to be. But still handles extremely well for an SUV...

My vehicle came from the factory with the Bridgestone DUELER H/L 400 RFT. Night and day difference switching to the alenza's. These tires don't even feel like run-flats. The vehicle is extremely quiet now and doesn't crash over bumps like it used to with the duelers. Ive driven in several heavy rain storms with these tires and the vehicle feels extremely planted and does not hydroplane. The steering response and handling feel a little softer and turn in isnt as sharp as it used to be. But still handles extremely well for an SUV. Will update review once these see snow. So far loving the alenzas!!

OEM on my X5. Couldn't be happier. Great response, traction and comfort. Although I cannot comment on treadwear with only 5,000 miles their 500 treadwear rating earned a "10" anticipating 35,000+ miles from these tires.

I put these tires on 400 miles ago. They are quieter than I expected and much smoother than I expected. I love them so far. Much better than my last set. I cant believe how much better of a ride I am already getting. The price was also so much better from tirerack. Yay. Thanks.

...For ride quality, these tires are very good for run-flats and are very quiet. I would buy them again...

My 2018 BMW X5 was originally fitted with Michelin Latitude run-flat tires. I took delivery of the car on a snowy day in January 2018. Those tires were totally ineffective on light snow. Cornering on fresh light snow at very low speeds was bad with limited steering input. Very concerning to say the least. That got me started to explore other tire options early on. With 23,000 miles on the X5, I got very serious on considering tire selection options for replacement even though the Michelins were not close to the point of replacement. The list of all-season run-tire tires for the X5 is limited. Michelin and Pirelli seemed to be the most common selections. At that time, the new Bridgestone Alenza Sport was listed on the selection list. It was noted to be an OEM fitment for Mercedes and so new, The Tire Rack had no test data reported. Since the Michelin and Pirelli options had no glowing reports, I figured no harm in trying the Alenza Sports. While I haven't been in icy or deep snow conditions, I feel the Bridgestones are superior to the Michelins. Oddly enough, BMW now offers the Alenza Sports on the new X5 and X7 SAV models. I guess the BMW engineers agreed. For ride quality, these tires are very good for run-flats and are very quiet. I would buy them again.

The side note here is that I spoke to a Michelin engineer at the 2020 Rolex 24 about the disappointing performance of the Latitude model tire in light snow. He somewhat acknowledged the fact and said the engineering team places much of their focus on tire design to achieve maximum fuel economy. For such an reputable leader in the industry, I think that goal is short sided on their part.

These are the original tires that came equipped on my BMW X5 - this review is about the "star" BMW version of this tire. I have had these on the car for 23,600 miles and they still look very very good. I'm expecting to get at least 50k out of a set with the way it's currently wearing, which is really great. They have fantastic wet traction, very comfortable and quiet. I really can't come up with any negatives for these tires yet. I will update as they wear.

the car came out of the factory with these Bridgestone tires. I have been super impressed by the very low road noise, secondly the road handling is terrific , and the life is amaazingly impressive still good after 57000 miles. . I drive mostly highways and sometimes trails. in snow weather here in the west..... in the past I only use Michelin tires..... I have to admit that Bridgestone tires are outstanding.
