Nitto Nomad Grappler Ride Comfort-Focused All-Terrain Tire Good on Highway, Snow in 275/45R20

The third and best tire by far that I've had on this truck. The wet traction is much better than any other tire I've tried. And it did well in the sand at the beach. Maybe slightly noisier than some others but worth it. Still at least 50% tread left after 25,000 mi, so I expect it to outlast the previous tires also.

Excellent. Low road noise, very comfortable. Superior wet traction over stock. Right after I installed these I went on a road trip with 2k of highway, heavy rain, mud, snow and light off road /fire roads. Performed flawlessly. Will buy these again for all my SUV’s.

2nd review of these tires. still going strong. numerous out of town trips on these tires and still like them. Noise and comfort is still the same. a little louder than a highway tire but not bad at all. Grip is still strong, Wet traction is excellent.

There a Great tire for the purpose intended for. They look amazing, Aggressive in 3-5ft of snow & ice driving from Virginia to Buffalo NY can’t say enough good things about them. No much road noise, very soft feel in the vehicle. A lot better than Pirrelli garbage tires. Only put 28k miles on them & done. Hopefully get 60k out of these.

Excellent wet and Snow traction been into and out of several ski areas in snow already and also several rural trailheads off of dirt and gravel roads tires had plenty of traction. Turn in is much better than the OE yokohama tires that always felt like they were folding under

I did a lot of research before buying what I would personally consider an upgrade from the stock tires on my Forester Wilderness. I love how they look, and not long after the install, we got some snowy, sleeting, sloppy weather. My drive to work was challenging, since it involves a substantial increase in elevation on the way, and I was pleased how the Nitto Nomad Grapplers handled in the weather. Navigating the long, freezing rain/snowy road to the upper part of our complex that morning was easy, and I was very impressed. I commute this route every day, and so far, in the rain, or on dry pavement, the tires are well-mannered, quiet, and just seem to be built better than the stock tires they replaced. Often, my route to work is yet to be plowed on snowy days, and I have little doubt that in the coming months, when the weather gets really bad, I will have an easier time of getting to work and back than last winter. It's my first set of Nitto tires on any vehicle I've owned, but I'm sure it won't be the last. Thanks to Tire Rack for all the research tools you provided in helping me pick them out.

I have been changing dry tires and snows depending on the season for the last 5 years . I finally decided to purchase A/T. They are great on dry and wet surfaces and look as if they will be better than average in snow and other challenging surfaces.

I only drive this Jeep about 4000 miles in the summer months so a mileage assessment isn't possible. Haven't ventured off road yet but I'm sure I'll be pleased. Wet and dry traction are great. Road noise, absolutely none! For a tire this open that seems impossible, I guess the engineers got it right. I balanced the tires myself and they were among the best I've ever done for tires this size, requiring 2 oz. or less per tire. Hoping they will wear as good as they look. Definitely would recommend them!

Great bargain for the price dry/wet traction is excellent. A bit noisy along the freeway which is expected in this type of tires. No ratings for snow/ice yet

The Nitto Nomad Grapplers matches very well with Honda’s i-VTM4 AWD system. These AT tires were specifically chosen for their light weight to aid with unsprung weight. I would consider the tires to be mild or not as aggressive compared to other AT tires which is not a bad thing since comfort was a priority when choosing tires for the vehicle. I don’t have a decibel meter to measure the difference in noise; very negligible in my experience, but tire noise is subjective so my observation will not be the same as others. Excellent wet, ice, and snow handling, never got stuck or encountered any difficulties during the past winter. Tires were priced appropriately and made in the USA is a plus. Will buy again when the time comes.

Very happy with these tires. Comfort is great. There is very little road noise compared to the stock tires. Off-road they handle great especially if you air down. Would recommend these tires to others driving a CUV.

Only 500 miles but impressed so far. Theyre quieter than most all terrains, have good wet traction and light mud, and a smooth comfortable ride. More affordable than a lot of other big name tires, hopefully I get the full 65k miles out of them!

After 10k miles the tires became louder but still manageable. Handled all seasons well. Wear was on par with all season tires while winter traction was on par with dedicated snow tires. Ice and snow was handled with confidence.

I would buy these again.

High performance tire for an SUV if off road and snow capability is important. Tread on sidewall looks good and protects tires when off road or scuffing a curb. Tread wear is exceptional for all terrain design. This is the second set, first set came close to 100k miles. You get what you pay for with these tires.
