The Discoverer A/T3XLT is Cooper's On-Road All-Terrain tire designed for the drivers of pickup trucks, work vehicles and full-size SUVs who need a tire that provides the rugged durability required to keep up with their active lifestyles. Engineered to tackle dirt, gravel, mud and the urban jungle, the Discoverer A/T3XLT combines off-road prowess with agreeable on-road comfort and year-round traction, including in light snow.
Durable-Tread Technology combines a shred-resistant silica compound with the Discoverer A/T3XLT's next-generation all-terrain tread pattern. Cooper's Even Wear Arc Technology optimizes the shape of the footprint for balanced pressure at the contact patch, improving handling and promoting even treadwear. The tread pattern is designed to aid dry traction, while Whisper Grooves between the outboard tread blocks help reduce noise throughout the tire's life. Stone ejector ledges help prevent punctures due to stone drilling, and the Rugged Traction Shoulders feature alternating scoop and cleat lugs and biting edges designed for grip on rock, in thick mud or loose soil. Deep, circumferential channels and wide, lateral notches improve hydroplaning resistance, while multiple zigzag sipes in the independent tread blocks create the biting edges needed for traction in slippery conditions. Snow Groove Technology uses saw-tooth block edges to trap snow in the tread for effective snow-to-snow traction.
The internal construction of the Discoverer A/T3XLT consists of a robust, two-ply polyester casing. A single-ply, nylon reinforcement above two high-strength steel belts further increases durability and handling response, along with providing high-speed stability.

...they are great on the highway in the dry and wet...
Wanted to upgrade from stock HTs. These came E rated in 33” and they fit perfectly. Balanced easily, they are great on the highway in the dry and wet. Work shockingly well in the snow and ice. Very strong sidewall but not over stiff. Great on rocks, ok on sand. I bought 5 and do the 5 tire rotation every 5000 miles. After 15k miles they still look new. Tirerack also had a great price on these, unfortunately they were on closeout so I’ll have to pick something else come replacement time.

...good grip in 8+ inches of snow uphill in 2 wheel drive...
Updated style with sidewall tread is good looking. This tire is a significant upgrade to prior tires. Quiet on the highway, good grip in 8+ inches of snow uphill in 2 wheel drive. Great in dirt and cleans out quickly from sticky surfaces.

...I have had no issues with dry or wet conditions...
I’ve had this set of tires for 1 year, 7000 miles. I have had no issues with dry or wet conditions. Snowy, very rarely needed 4 wheel drive on snowy road conditions thought tires would slip on take off with slight inclines but that cold be contributed to throttle response. At 10psi, tires were flawless on sand (cape cod) though the sidewall bulge was a little excessive for me. 20psi the bulge was much less, with the same performance. Road noise, I have to actively listen for it to hear it. Overall, would buy again in a heart beat.

Customers consistently praise the smooth ride and low noise levels, with most scoring 9s and 10s. Even on rugged terrain, comfort remains a standout strength for this all-terrain tire.

...They are super quiet and a very comfortable ride...
Great tire! Very impressed so far. I haven't hit sandy areas or snow, so I can't factor those in. They are super quiet and a very comfortable ride. They balanced very easily according to my shop guys. The sidewalls are subtle, yet aggressive up close. I would definitely buy again. I ran BFG K02 AT and MAXXIS RAZR MT before this and I think I'll be looking into more Cooper brand stuff in the future. TIRERACK had the best deals and was super helpful and shipping was so fast! I've looked through about 4 website and always came back to TIRERACK with my selection.

...Amazing treadwear, what more could you ask for...
I've recommended these to everyone, honestly so grateful I found these tires. Road noise doesn't exist, wet and dry performance are exceptional. Amazing treadwear, what more could you ask for. On a another note I've had some scary curb hits, lifted trucks are not for most parking lots, these sidewalls have been thoroughly vetted. I've had them rotated 3 times, they have towed 8k plus for over 3k miles. They still role perfectly round. I run them at 42 psi, my installer put them at 55 psi.

I have 47,000 miles on these tires and they still have plenty tread for another year...
I have 47,000 miles on these tires and they still have plenty tread for another year. I was looking at buying another set just to be ready for when I want to make the change. Three of my family members have purchased them and love the tires. I drive both highway and off road and the tires perform very well.
