The Zeon RS3-G1 is Cooper's Ultra High Performance All-Season tire developed for the drivers of sports cars, sporty coupes and performance sedans looking for a tire to match the personality of their performance vehicles. The Zeon RS3-G1 is designed to deliver impressive handling and traction in dry and wet conditions, while still maintaining year-round capability, even in light snow.
The coupled silica tread compound of the Zeon RS3-G1 is specially formulated to provide maximum dry and wet traction and is molded into an asymmetric pattern with a focus on cornering grip and minimizing tire noise. Wide lateral notches and four deep, circumferential grooves allow water to flow away from the contact patch to resist hydroplaning. Traction in slippery conditions and light snow is aided by the 3-D Micro Gauge sipes, which create the biting edges needed for grip in addition to interlocking below the surface to stabilize the tread and enhance handling in all conditions.
Internal construction of the Zeon RS3-G1 consists of a two-ply polyester casing to maintain the balance between handling and ride quality. The high-stiffness bead filler resists distortion for quick steering response, and the twin steel belts are reinforced by a spirally wound, nylon wrap for high-speed capability.

...Wet traction is good, and predictable break away when it does start to slip...
The tires wear well, provide good dry traction. Wet traction is good, and predictable break away when it does start to slip. Great economy tire for commuting. Unfortunately, I tend to push things hard than they need to be, and these tires do not work for any kind of spirited driving. The sidewalls are very soft, so the tires numb steering feels, and react late. They, most definitely, are just a tires for going from a to b commuting. They are quite comfortable, even with the pt cruiser's terrible suspension, and reduced a lot of the shudder that resonates throughout the car.
Definitely recommend for your daily driver, or the average commuter.

...These have the best tread wear and traction out of any other tire in this category on the market...
Tire Rack had these tires in stock when I couldn't find them anywhere else local or online. These tires are some of the best all around grand touring tires on the market. Everyone knows how good of a tire Toyo makes. Their R888s are the best on the market for high 🐴 power applications. These have the best tread wear and traction out of any other tire in this category on the market. My 99 Aurora deserved the best GT tire I could find for it and I couldn't have picked anything better at the price point they were at. My car rides the way cars are supposed to ride with these tires and with the suspension setup on the car. G body GMs from the nineties like the riviera and aurora had the strongest frame GM ever built for a car and their ride quality was second to none. With these tires, I can say the aurora has the greatest ride quality of any car built in the last 25 years.

...The taller tire seems to help improve the ride in comfort and appearance...
I wanted a taller tire for my Tacoma 2WD, but not a fatter tire. 215/75R15 is slightly taller than OE. I think the OE tires are undersized. They look too small within the wheel well. Even CUVs ride on bigger tires. The taller tire seems to help improve the ride in comfort and appearance.
The Toyo tires are well balanced. If you align the valve to yellow circle imprinted on the tire, you should get a near perfect balance. I only needed one 1/4 oz wheel weight on 1 tire, the other 3 tires were balanced without any wheel weights. Note, I did remove the TPMS valves and went with regular valve stems. Previously I had Dunlops, each wheel had 1.5 to 2 oz of wheel weights attached--and they never seem to be balanced right.

I put a set of Toyo's for my Grand Marquis at 52,000 in 2017 that set was at or near the wear marker at 138,000 about 86,000 miles for that set...
I put 350,000 on a new 1998 F-250 4x4 I got 40,000 miles on Goodyear tires. 2 sets before my first 100,000 miles. I had an excavation company and used one supplier for my tires for 20 years. My tires man said Toyo is the only tires he uses on his service fleet. The first set of Toyo for my F-250 at about 90,000 miles. The biggest value was price rated Goodyear 40,000 miles tire was more expensive than the same size Toyo rated at 80 000. When I drove the my F-250 with Toyo tires no more noise and the truck rode smooth as a big car. I 'm a Nascar fan and raced for 10 years, I bought Goodyear because of Nascar Goodyear make great tires though Toyo does it better. I put a set of Toyo's for my Grand Marquis at 52,000 in 2017 that set was at or near the wear marker at 138,000 about 86,000 miles for that set. I just bought a Mazda Miata when the Kumho's wear out I will buy Toyo again. Safety is important I have driven well over 1 000,000 on Toyo tires never a blow out about 3 or 4 flats that were repaired from nails I picked up on work sites. All being said I am 66 years old retired and have experienced a lot of other tire companies claims. But, experience tells me for the money, safety, long lasting, and mostly comfort and noise quality a set of Toyos will make driving more fun.
