Engineered for the demands of commercial use, the Comtrac Cargo A/S features an abrasion-resistant compound and a high-traction, symmetric tread pattern built for stability under load and reliable straight-line tracking. Reinforced shoulder blocks help combat irregular wear often caused by frequent stops, heavy payloads, and rougher surfaces. An optimized footprint ensures even pressure distribution across the tread, supporting extended service life. To maintain traction in wet conditions, three wide circumferential grooves work in tandem with angled transversal channels to efficiently evacuate water and reduce hydroplaning risk. Independent tread blocks in the intermediate ribs provide extra biting edges for improved grip on slick surfaces, while wavy sipes and the all-season compound enhance traction in cold and light winter conditions keeping fleets moving, regardless of the weather.
Internal construction of the Comtrac Cargo A/S consists of two high-tensile steel belts reinforced by a polyamide cap to help maintain the tire's shape for enhanced performance at highway speeds while a two-ply polyester cord body balances ride quality with durability.
