The Hitrac All Season is Vredestein's Grand Touring All-Season tire developed for drivers of coupes, sedans, crossovers and SUVs looking for a comfortable ride, confident traction, and long tread life. Hitrac All Season tires are designed to deliver pleasant road manners with low tread noise and a smooth ride, combined with satisfying performance and responsive cornering with good traction in dry, wet and wintry conditions, including light snow.

A high-traction, all-season compound is molded into the Hitrac All Season's tread pattern utilizing a dual reinforcing system with performance-enhancing materials. The optimized tread block contour and pitch sequence enhances noise comfort and combines with the wide tread pattern design to promote faster steering response. The Hitrac All Season's shoulders feature specially designed evacuation grooves to further increase lateral response, while working in conjunction with the large, circumferential grooves to disperse water from the contact patch for improved wet weather performance and hydroplaning resistance. 3D sipe technology in the tread blocks continue to aid traction in wet and wintry weather.

Ratings data demonstrates the Vredestein HiTrac All-Season delivers excellent comfort with smooth ride quality and low noise, earning consistent 8-10 scores. Treadwear receives strong praise, with many noting long tread life even under regular use. Winter traction is generally reliable in snow and slush, though a few reports mention mixed results on ice. Wet performance shines with high marks for hydroplaning resistance and confident grip. Dry traction stands out as a top strength, with near-perfect scores for responsive handling and stability. While most categories show outstanding performance, occasional lower ice traction scores suggest drivers should adjust expectations for severe winter conditions.

I’m loving the Vredestein brand. The HiTrac version has amazing wet traction. It is truly like driving on dry roads, and for me, that is what I want most out of a tire. Combine this with a reasonable price and they are hard to beat.

Excellent tires. Incredible improvement over previous tires on the car in terms of noise, handling, wet traction. And, the price was much better than Michelins or other premium brands. Easily as good if not better than those which I have traditionally purchased.

...But now the truck will go through fresh snow about 8" deep without drama...

I'm a big fan of Michelin tires in general and it's what I'm currently running on my Porsche and have on many of my rigs over the decades, so when I wanted to replace the crummy tires that my Honda came with as a used car purchase, I was pretty determined to get a set of Michelins. However, the more I read the reviews, watched the videos, and looked at the test data it became obvious that in this size and application, the Michelins were just not standing up to the competition, especially the Vredesteins.

I'm very happy with these tires and the fact that they were a couple of hundred dollars less than the Michelins yet had the same treadwear rating and warranty as the Michelins made the choice even better.

These tires transformed the Honda. The turn-in is now immediate, and the traction in all conditions is vastly improved. The truck came with "generic" tires, some off-brand that I don't even remember; I knew when I bought the truck that new tires were going to be something that I needed to do very soon after purchasing it in spite of having a lot of tread still left on them. But they were horrible in all conditions; almost no snow traction, they would hydroplane very easily, they were noisy, on and on. But now the truck will go through fresh snow about 8" deep without drama, pass through standing water at speed without a hint of loss of traction, and they are also extremely quiet. Tar snakes used to be very annoying and now are barely noticeable, expansion joints on the freeway barely register. Rough pavement is heard a bit, just enough to give some aural feedback, which is good because the electric steering mutes almost all road feel.

All and all one of the best tire choices I've made for this type of rig. Very highly recommended.

This has been a really good tire. Bought for my daughter's car that came from the factory with Michelins. The Vredesteins have performed every bit as well as the OEM Michelins and outperformed them in wet. We don't get a lot of snow in Arkansas, but what snow we do get is wet and very heavy. We also get a lot of ice. These tires have done well in those conditions too. Quiet ride and they seem to be a long lasting tire because after 15K miles, they are showing little wear. Been very happy with them.

...We didn't have much snow this year, but I was able to test them in light snow and slushy conditions and was satisfied with their performance...

I selected these tires for the anticipated wet weather and light snow traction. They more than met my expectations. They are excellent in wet conditions. We didn't have much snow this year , but I was able to test them in light snow and slushy conditions and was satisfied with their performance. The straight line and tracking is excellent with a definite improvement in handling, no wander and excellent turn response. The only negative experience is with the noise generated. One review stated that there would be some hum while driving. I am particularly sensitive to tire noise, so the noise level is excessive for me. I understand that with all the snipes in the tread, more noise is generated. So it is a trade off, some noise but excellent traction. I've become more accustomed to the noise, so I will live with the noise. Overall this is an excellent tire and a very good value.

...Dry and wet traction are both phenomenal...

Very impressed with these VREDESTEIN HITRAC ALL SEASON tires so far. Had never heard of them when I came here to get replacements for a set of General AltiMAX's. Dry and wet traction are both phenomenal. Hydroplaning resistance is better than any tire I've ever owned. They look great and perform exceptionally well. I run them at 38psi and am very pleased. Have not had a chance to run them in the snow but will update the review when I do. In short - these tires are awesome. Highly recommended.

The worlds best tire I have ever driven on. I have been buying tires for over 40 years and many times cruise control is set at 85mph, wet road, dry road, local road at 30mph or at 85 mph No other tire compares to Vredestein tires, plus almost NO road noise. They out-preform Pirelli, Michelin, Komo, Yokohama, Firestone, Cooper.. I'll never buy another brand.

...These tires made an incredible difference in ride, comfort, and noise reduction...

I bought these tires to replace the loud, stiff run flats that came on the car when I bought it. These tires made an incredible difference in ride, comfort, and noise reduction. They’re a little bit soft in the sidewalk and you can feel it when you drive aggressively and want to bang into a turn with some speed. I see the upsides well worth the downside and strongly recommend theses tires.

I absolutely LOVE these tires, they live up to all of the review comments and I happy I decided on them. I wasn't familiar with the brand, but everyone gave them great reviews. I especially like the handling/cornering, and the comfort and quiet ride. It was really important to me not to end up with tires that gave me a lot of cabin noise, and these tires give a smooth, comfortable, and quiet ride. I'm looking forward to seeing how they handle next season's Colorado winter, maybe I won't have to do a switch out to snow tires! Very happy with my purchase!

Now that I made the change and am aware of how much quieter my car and my tires can be... I'm never going back to other noisier tire manufacturers...

I purchased these Vredestein tires because I wanted more comfort and longevity.

I have enjoyed higher performance tires but always paid too high a price and traded wear and tread life, and comfort and quiet which for 99.9999% of my driving time behind the wheel which in the end, were much more important for me and my family.

These tires are so quiet that I now hear other mechanical noises like the cycling of the air conditioning compressor rather than the steady hum of the tires.

Very impressed with these tires after 25K miles. Well balanced and relatively good at just about everything. Surprisingly good in the snow. Very good on wet roads and rain. Treadwear has been very good so far. Pretty sure I'll get 60K - 70K out of them. I don't usually get the full amount due to mydriving style being a bit more aggressive. Not silent, but noise isn't overbearing. Quiet and smooth ride overall. I like trying different tires each time but I'm sure I'll be tempted to get another set of these after they finally wear out.

I switched them out at 50K miles with 4/32" remaining. Had I gone to 2/32" I probably could have hit 60K miles. With my driving style, I consider that to be pretty good.

I was happy with these tires. I purchased them based on price and reviews and was not disappointed. I switched them out at 50K miles with 4/32" remaining. Had I gone to 2/32" I probably could have hit 60K miles. With my driving style, I consider that to be pretty good. Generally I get about 75% of the rated mileage from tires but I blame that on my driving style. Had I driven more conservatively, I'm certain I could have gotten the full 70K miles. Based on that I gave them a 10 for treadwear.

When newer, light snow and wet traction was excellent for an all-season. This diminished over time but that's expected. Even at 4/32", they still did acceptable in wet weather. Road noise was slightly higher than average when compared to other all-seasons such as the Michelin Defender2 but only slightly. Dry traction was always good along with braking and cornering.

I wouldn't hesitate to pick up another set of these in the future.

The tire is great in an average way. It doesn't do anything spectacularly, but doesn't fail anything badly either. The only con I have found is the treadwear, which is worse than the rating would expect. It wears evenly and well, has not developed out of roundness or balancing issues, and have never lost air or had any issues with strength. Luckily this is the last winter I will have on this set and we are experiencing mild weather in Southern Oregon (no snow so far, or expected). It likes to slip in mud, but is controllable, preferring to stay going straight. If it excels in any area, it is wet performance.
