Treadwear receives strong praise, with many noting long tread life even under regular use. Winter traction is generally reliable in snow and slush, though a few reports mention mixed results on ice. Best All Terrain tires I have ever owned. Perform as good or better than BFG but NO NOISE at all. These tires grip on dirt and gravel campground roads, in pouring rain and sleet storms. No snow last year but I am anticipating remarkable traction. NJ can get major snow some years. Also, I tow a 9000 lb AirStream trailer and there is no sway with these as well as excellent wet and dry traction while towing. But the remarkable thing is that they are totally silent on the highway, quieter than All Season tires. How did Vredestine engineer this? I like them so much I bought a second set for my 93 VW Eurovan, replacing a set of BFG AT tires with only 5000 miles on them.

...The wet traction is amazing and the tight on the corners. I've yet to break these tires loose and I am not shy to accelerate through traffic...

I replaced the stock Goodyear Wranglers with these and it’s is a night and day difference. I have been so happy with these tires and they are so quiet on the road. I can actual have a conversation in the truck while I drive. The wet traction is amazing and the dry handling is tight on the corners. I’ve yet to break these tires loose and I am not shy to accelerate through traffic. Breaking is on a dime. They have a more rugged appearance compared to an all highway tire which was important to me because I own a Trail Boss and I didn’t want take away from the rugged look of the truck. But I definitely wanted a more quiet tire on the road because the wranglers were just obnoxious. Anyhow, I still can’t say the name but I recommend these tires to anyone driving a 1/2 ton truck. You won’t be disappointed.

So far these are holding solid. They travel well at highway speeds, 75ish. Very minimal sound for a semi-aggressive tire. Wet traction is good, dry traction is good. They corner predictably. Snow was no issue last winter (upstate NY). I will definitely buy them again.

...Performed extremely well in all conditions driven (dry, rain, snow)...

I bought the tires based on others’ reviews and the tires performed as the very positive reviews indicated. Tires are quieter than OEM Michelin LTX, yet the Vredesteins have a more aggressive tread. Performed extremely well in all conditions driven (dry, rain, snow). Little off-road miles so I can’t comment about sand, mud, stone. Would definitely purchase again.

Purchased earl fall of 2023 for a Jeep Cherokee XJ that is primarily used in Winnebago county Illinois and Rock county Wisconsin from November through March.
Last winter was very mild but the tires performed very well the few times when there was precipitation. They stopped exceptionally well the one time we had an active freezing slush/freezing rain situation. I did use the Jeep with these tires twice this summer at 55 mph highway speed on hot dry pavement with air temperature in upper 90's. I did not experience any unusual braking or handling.

I installed these tires in summer and haven't experienced wet or snowy conditions yet. The dry traction, stability, quietness, and smoothness are exceptional - especially for an all terrain tire. I recently took a 1400 mile road trip with posted speed limits from 65 to 80 - with actual speeds a wee bit higher. And, passing speeds approached triple digits several times. These tires instilled confidence. I'm very happy with my purchase and greatly appreciate Tire Rack's objective/subjective video evaluations, without which I'd have never noticed these.

...I'm also pleased with the tire's grip on city and highway surfaces...

Having a somewhat-unusual truck (4 cyl., FWD), many manufacturers don't make a tire in my size. Vredestein did, and I was VERY pleased with the lack of road noise while still maintaining some aggressive tread for the few situations in which I might be needing traction off-road. I'm also pleased with the tire's grip on city and highway surfaces. Thumbs up!

...Not loud on the highway, comfortable, wet and dry traction is good...

Bought these slightly over size tires for my '05 Touareg. I drive around town but do a lot of skiing and camping so need good performance in snow and light off-road. I like Vredestiens and have run Quatracs on my other Touareg for years. These Pinzas are great so far. Not loud on the highway, comfortable, wet and dry traction is good. So far the snow performance has been great, and light offroad though mud an puddles has been good as well. Highly confident in the performance of these tires. I can't wait to get them out on the beach (and check sand traction) as well as some slightly more aggressive off-road.

These tires have been great on my 4Runner. They ride comfortably and road noise is minimal. I drive long distances on the highway frequently and have no complaints. Traction is much better than OEM tires in the rain and hydroplaning hasn’t been an issue at all even in heavy downpours. Snow and ice was a breeze this past winter in the mountains of West Virginia. No problem driving and stopping on unplowed mountain roads. Don’t even have to put it in 4x4 most of the time. No serious off roading yet but have been good on dirt and gravel roads. Huge improvement over the OEM tires both looks and performance wise. Will definitely buy another set.

...They handle better and have no discernible road noise increase over the OEMs...

I took a chance on these new tires based on Vredestein's reputation and reviews of other models. I have not been disappointed. The OEM Michelin Primacy XC were okay on dry pavement for 9000 miles, but if it got wet or snowy, they were terrible. So far the Pinzas have been outstanding in the wet (snow to come) and great on the dry as well. They handle better and have no discernible road noise increase over the OEMs. I'm a believer so far and could not be happier.

Used Tirerack's ASAP Tire service for the first time too and had a very good install experience.

I'll update the review once I've had these tires in the snow a few times.

...Now here we are 20,000 miles later and so far I can assure you these tires have out performed any tire I've ever owned... the tread wear has exceeded my expectations. I'm confident I'll get another 2 years out of this set...

I did a lot of research on this brand before buying these tires, specifically the LT tire, and after reading some really good reviews from people in the same profession with similar vehicles and driving conditions, I still had reservations due to being a European tire. With Its low popularity in the US there just wasn't much data or information to equally compare it to our leading brand name tires. Now here we are 20,000 miles later and so far I can assure you these tires have out performed any tire I've ever owned. Keep in mind talking about light truck and SUV tires. The ride quality is off the chart and they have the least amount of road noise. Every All Terrain tire makes some noise due to their tread patterns but these had virtually none when first installed and at 20k I can just barely notice a slight amount if I don't have the radio on. Driving in just about everything except for quick sand and lava, the traction is superior in my honest opinion, and the tread wear has exceeded my expectations. I'm confident I'll get another 2 years out of this set. I'm sure there are better performing tires on the market but at this price point these tires have the best value.

...Wear was much better than with the OEM tires I have now (Handkook Dynapro AT2s) on my new(er) truck. I can only see maybe 2 years of use with these tires where they'd still be safe in the snow and ice, and I've only put 7000 miles on them. I think the Pinza AT would have lasted at least 45-50000 miles before I replaced them.

Many times when you go to an AT tire, mileage goes down, road noise goes up, and general on-road characteristics trend downward. The Pinza AT has excellent road manners and does well in the rain and light snow (up to 10 inches). It handles ice with a B to B+, but loses some points to something like a dedicated snow tire. Some light overlanding revealed very good grip, surprisingly. Wear was much better than with the OEM tires I have now (Handkook Dynapro AT2s) on my new(er) truck. I can only see maybe 2 years of use with these tires where they'd still be safe in the snow and ice, and I've only put 7000 miles on them. I think the Pinza AT would have lasted at least 45-50000 miles before I replaced them. I bought the Pinza AT at another local shop.

Another tire to compare against the Pinza AT is the Open Range AT. It is also very long lasting, not noisy, does very well in the snow and rock, but loses a little in the handling department.
