The Pinza HT is Vredestein's Highway All-Season tire designed for drivers of crossovers, SUVs and pickup trucks looking for a tire with pleasant road manners balanced with durability and predictable handling. Pinza HT tires are engineered to provide capable traction on dry and wet roads, as well as in light snow.
The symmetric pattern of the Pinza HT is molded from an all-season tread compound intended to provide ease of rotation to promote even tread wear. Larger shoulder blocks help stabilize cornering forces for surefooted handling in high center of gravity vehicles and under heavy loads. The independent tread blocks are staggered to help minimize tread noise with generous pass-through notches that help evacuate water into the large circumferential grooves, increasing hydroplaning resistance. Tread blocks feature dense, zig-zag siping designed to provide biting edges for traction in slippery, wet and wintry conditions.
Internal construction of the Pinza HT consists of two high-strength steel belts supported by a robust, two-ply polyester casing with an additional polyamide cap-ply for stability at highway speeds.

...So far in eastern PA rainstorms they've worked well in wet traction. Much better than I recall the previous Pirelli's...
I haven't put too many miles on this set of tires yet. I switched to from Pirelli Scorpion AS to Vredestein Quatrac Pro. New tires always perform great so time will tell. So far in eastern PA rainstorms they've worked well in wet traction. Much better than I recall the previous Pirelli's. I do a fair amount of higher speed highway driving for my commute. In the dry and on rural back roads the ride and handling / noise limits are pretty good. I'm driving an SUV not a car, so for my style and type of driving I believe they'll work out well. It's the start of spring so I can't provide any winter driving experiences yet but again I hope they work out better than the previous tires did. I hope they last longer too! I only got 40K from the last set, even with frequent tire rotations and keeping the air pressures set.

...They are also GREAT INTHE RAIN and very good in snow...
I ran the previous version of this tire and was very happy. These are even more grippy. These are a summer biased all-season tire that I absolutely love. I went to a 17 rim vs OEM 18. Because the sidewall is taller I needed tires with a strong side wall - these fit the bill. Great handling with a softer ride vs OEM (which is harsh). They are also GREAT INTHE RAIN and very good in snow. I can not recommend these tires enough.

...Have done fantastic in one of the most harsh West Michigan winters... The winter handling is also awesome in comparison. The previous Michelins were "acceptable" in terms of winter performance but did their fair share of slipping and sliding on a daily basis...
Great tires so far. Have done fantastic in one of the most harsh West Michigan winters in years. Compared to the OEM Michelin Pilot Sport AS/4’s these tires are dramatically quieter and do an amazing job softening up the notoriously rough ride of the Model Y Performance. Very transformative.
The winter handling is also awesome in comparison. The previous Michelins were “acceptable” in terms of winter performance but did their fair share of slipping and sliding on a daily basis. The Vredesteins grip hard and hold it tight, inspiring a high degree of confidence. On one particular very snowy/icy day with temps hovering near zero and lots of other cars in ditches all over these tires held extremely well and inspired confidence beyond my expectations.
I was also able to test these out during some warmups in heavy rain and in dry conditions and performance was also excellent - especially so in the rain. These is some compromise in terms of steering feel and response with these compared to the Michelins but in my opinion a no brainer now that I’ve experienced a way more comfortable and quiet ride with the Vredesteins.
Overall very pleased with this purchase so far.

...Dry traction is definitely reduced from the Michelins. Being used to the Michelins in the twisties, it did not take much to find the limits of the Vredesteins...
The car is a daily driver, and is driven a minimum of 85 miles round trip for work. Our goal with a BEV was to save money. The 1800 to 2000 miles driven per month costs about $70 in electricity, versus the $160/wk we were paying for gasoline.
The car has factory staggered wheels - 245/35-21 front, 265/35-21 rear. At 19K miles, we had to replace the rear tires for the second time. So, I started a tire hunt to address 2 tire issues with a 2020 MSP: Wear and noise. I talked to an old school alignment guy, and he said Tesla''s alignment specs are overly aggressive. Well... that''s a nice paraphrasing of what he actually said. Going with less aggressive toe, and toeing in - instead of out, seems to have addressed the abysmal rear tire the wear. It also improved camber. And, the car is no longer exhausting to drive long distances. However, the OE Michelin Pilot Sports were still very noisy going down the road. And, they very effectively transmitted harsh sounds from road imperfections (bumps, expansion joints, rough patches) into the cabin. The (also OE) Continentals have a reputation for being a little quieter... but not much. Then, I heard about the Vredesteins. When the front Michelins finally gave up at 28K miles, we got a set of 4 Vredesteins, as required for their 50K manufacturer warranty. Vredestein does not make a 265/35-21 for the rear, but the 275/35-21 has plenty of clearance.
Even though the Vredesteins do not have the acoustic foam, they are *much* quieter than the Michelins. That includes regular road noise as well as bumps, imperfections and the like.
The Vredestein compound is noticeably harder. Dry traction is definitely reduced from the Michelins. Being used to the Michelins in the twisties, it did not take much to find the limits of the Vredesteins. That said, longevity should be greatly improved - especially with a sensible alignment spec.
Wet traction is MUCH improved!
TL/DR: Much quieter. Wet grip is much better. Dry grip is not as good.

...Dry traction is noticeably less with Vredestein than the Toyo's...
These tires are mounted on a 1997 TVR Griffith 500 which is not in your database. The car is very powerful and torquey. Dodge Viper was the closest comparative car.
These tires replaced Toyo Proxis T1R. Dry traction is noticeably less with Vredestein than the Toyo's. Availability was the key driver in this purchase since the sizes I was looking for are not widely available. Road noise and comfort are very good. I am overall very happy with the purchase. Good balance of price and performance.

Extremely comfortable and quiet ride. Excellent handling and wet traction. They track extremely straight and are highly responsive to turns. Hands down the best tires I’ve owned so far. They also look really nice. I haven’t driven in snow or ice yet so I can’t comment. I highly recommend these tires based on my experience so far.

...I only have 250 miles on them, but I could not be happier with the tire thus far. I will return and add more detail as the miles fall away...
The 265/40R-21 Vredestein Quatrac Pro+ XL for my 2021 Lincoln Nautilus have been everything that the Tire Rack website said they would be in their rating system. The tires work great in dry conditions, hug the road in wet, and are what I hoped for the most - quiet. I only have 250 miles on them, but I could not be happier with the tire thus far. I will return and add more detail as the miles fall away. The gentlemen who took care of my order on the phone could not have been nicer and more prompt than he was. The tires arrived at the rim shop where I was having my rims resurfaced and painted within 4 - 5 days, so I have been very pleased with the service from Tire Rack and I will return again.

...Had 40,000 on the tire that developed the bubble from the pothole damage. Expect this pair to last another 60,000!
Purchased these tires after research on Tire Rack. Wanted a quieter tire for the highway driving and good balance between dry and wet with no importance for snow. Bought a complete set to replace the OEMs. Have been great tires. The most recent purchase was for a pair for the rear after a bubble developed from driving on pothole prone PA roads. Had 40,000 on the tire that developed the bubble from the pothole damage. Expect this pair to last another 60,000!
