The Pinza HT is Vredestein's Highway All-Season tire designed for drivers of crossovers, SUVs and pickup trucks looking for a tire with pleasant road manners balanced with durability and predictable handling. Pinza HT tires are engineered to provide capable traction on dry and wet roads, as well as in light snow.
The symmetric pattern of the Pinza HT is molded from an all-season tread compound intended to provide ease of rotation to promote even tread wear. Larger shoulder blocks help stabilize cornering forces for surefooted handling in high center of gravity vehicles and under heavy loads. The independent tread blocks are staggered to help minimize tread noise with generous pass-through notches that help evacuate water into the large circumferential grooves, increasing hydroplaning resistance. Tread blocks feature dense, zig-zag siping designed to provide biting edges for traction in slippery, wet and wintry conditions.
Internal construction of the Pinza HT consists of two high-strength steel belts supported by a robust, two-ply polyester casing with an additional polyamide cap-ply for stability at highway speeds.

I live in Florida, and it rains, floods, hurricanes here. These have been some of the best wet weather/summer tires I have ever owned. I break aggressively as well. I run drilled and slotted rotors and carbon breaks. These have been the best tire for the price I've ever had.

...I have been driving on them since the 1990's when I bought the best snow tires I have ever owned (Wintertrac?) and I drive 2 wheel drive vehicles in Colorado. ... Great traction on and off road, they are not snow tires but get better than average foul weather traction...
Vredestein is probably the most underrated tire on the market. Nobody knows about this brand. This is a buyer's advantage. I have been driving on them since the 1990's when I bought the best snow tires I have ever owned (Wintertrac?) and I drive 2 wheel drive vehicles in Colorado. I rank these Pinzas with any great all around, all season tire. Great traction on and off road, they are not snow tires but get better than average foul weather traction, they are silent, GREAT road handling, and although I only have 8000 miles on them seem to have not worn at all. I am not imagining getting the wear of Michelin Defenders but these will compete in all other aspects of driving. They even offer a higher load rating than normal passenger car tires, in case you want to haul a trailer. I would upgrade to LTs for heavy hauling though. Great, underrated, tire for far less than any Michelin, but I believe competes head to head with them.

...The snow and ice performance is very good for this type of tire...
These tires greatly improved the ride of my truck. They give a smooth ride that is also very sure and responsive, and have great wet weather grip. The snow and ice performance is very good for this type of tire. They are way better than the Goodyears and Continentals I have previously used.

...Dry traction and corning is excellent. With the straight tread pattern the tires to track with the groves in the highway.
These tires seem like they are going to last a long time. With the open side tread design they should be good in wet weather and avoid hydroplaning. Dry traction and corning is excellent. With the straight tread pattern the tires to track with the groves in the highway.

I have 20,000 miles on the tires and the tread depth is at 9-10/32 on all tires. They are smooth and have been quiet. I pull a trailer and boat often with the heaviest load about 5,000 pounds. I like these tires better than the Michelin Defender and also better than the old Michelin LTX. I feel confident I will get 50-60K which is about normal for the loads I haul and driving.
