The Quatrac Pro+ is Vredestein's Grand Touring All-Season tire developed for the drivers of sedans, coupes, crossovers and SUVs looking for a tire that joins luxury, comfort and style with responsive handling in the dry and wet alongside high-level capability in icy, snowy conditions. The Quatrac Pro+ is designed as an all-weather tire to meet industry severe snow service requirements qualifying for the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol alongside its all-season performance.

The Quatrac Pro+ takes a high-silica/resin compound and molds it into an asymmetric tread pattern designed to perform in year-round weather conditions. The broad outboard shoulder works in conjunction with a lower void ratio and large, stiff tread blocks to optimize dry handling and performance. The inboard rib and shoulder offer dependable wet and winter performance thanks to wide grooves and diverging lateral channels to move water and slush away from the contact patch. The tread compound maintains low temperature flexibility for control and grip in cold weather, with specially designed sipes in the center ribs for effective snow traction.

Internal construction of the Quatrac Pro+ consists of a single-ply polyester casing supporting two steel belts. A polyamide reinforcement aids in handling performance and provides high-speed durability.

Note: While non-winter tires featuring the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol may provide additional longitudinal snow traction beyond what all-season (M+S) tires not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.

...They are super grippy... and just have a super planted and secure feel to them...

I purchased this tire for my 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage SE Hatchback. I did so because the factory tires the car came with which were P175/55/15V Bridgestone Ecopia H/L 422 Plus were loud and thumpy, hard riding over any bumps and hot poor wet traction. Looking these tires up I quickly realized many people on many makes and models had the same issue with the Ecopias. I was hoping the new Vredestein Quatrac would improve all these areas but I had no idea how much it would. I have had the Vredestein Quatrac 5 on my 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage SE and our 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport GT and they were great tires all the way around, quiet, great in rain and snow and a great tire. Then on my 2019 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross SEL Touring I had the Vredestein Quatrac Pro and it was great as well in every area! But the new Vredestein Quatrac (replaces the Quatrac 5) is by far the best of the 3 with its V design tread pattern and improvements in wet and dry handling, braking, snow and ice traction. Its amazing. This tire is so smooth and so quiet its crazy the difference it made in my new 2021 Mirage SE. They are super grippy, super smooth on bumps and pot holes, way quieter, and just have a super planted and secure feel to them. I have not driven them in the snow but based on experience with Vredesteins Quatrac 5 and Quatrac Pro and how well they did and with them making even more improvements with this tire it is quite clear it will do amazing. Also the test results online show this for the new Quatrac. Overall Vredestein is the best brand tire I have ever owned over the years. We used to always buy Coopers and they were good but not great but overall very happy with them. I had 2 bad experiences with Goodyear Weatherready and Goodyear Comfort Tread tires and the price is outrageous for Goodyear and not worth it. Vredestein is a better tire in every way plus handles every season with ease being an all weather tire vs all season tire. Trust me, go with Vredestein.

Amazing tires. Do all tires for most people. The only gripe is road noise but the dry grip is great, the wet grip and hydroplaning resistance are great, and light-medium snow is extremely good for what it is. The snow performance of these tires allowed me to drive with an extreme amount of confidence in the two years of snow I have experienced with this car in Chicago.

I have not had a better set of tires on my Jetta - my biggest concern is overall traction on light snow to snow-packed and icy conditions (Central Colorado), and these have outperformed all of my previous Michelin All Season choices - wear to date is outstanding, with normal rotations I can't even yet guesstimate how much more use I'll get out of them. Have not yet had any punctures, which I've always had to deal with, being somewhat rural. I do a 50+ mile daily commute, and it's a fair drive to the nearest town, so I've put these to the test. Hard to say if they're the quietest tire I've had on this car, but these are right up there. My mileage is also not adversely affected. I'm hoping this design will continue to be available, I will consider no alternatives when it's time for a new set.

...I was surprised by how much more traction they had than my old tires when we had in a snowstorm shortly after I had these tires installed - very good grip even going uphill. My car has AWD (FWD bias) and these tires require me to intentionally break them loose if I want to, most of the time. On ice, well, you're on ice.

These have been the best tires I've put on my car. They are excellent for the money. I have had them on my car for a year now and have been overall impressed.

I was surprised by how much more traction they had than my old tires when we had a snowstorm shortly after I had these tires installed — very good grip even going uphill. My car has AWD (FWD bias) and these tires require me to intentionally break them loose if I want to, most of the time. On ice, well, you're on ice. They're not magic tires, but if you know how to drive and take your time, they'll do their job.

I've also been impressed with their hydroplane resistance when driving through heavy rain with pooling water on the roads and highways. Regular wet traction (no pooling water) is great as well.

These are also the grippiest tires I've had in the dry, too. The dry cornering and traction is excellent and inspires confidence rather than confusion like my old tires. I haven't really managed to break them loose in the dry yet, but I drive an old Volvo, not a sports car.

Also, for what it's worth, I'd describe my driving style as a "spirited commuter" — I do a lot of regular driving both in the city and on the highway, am absolutely not afraid of snow, and love some actual spirited driving on the back roads to enjoy my car.

The tread wear, noise, and ride comfort are all very reasonable in my opinion. The tread wear rating of these tires is a little lower than some comparable tires, but I'm happy with it at this point, given how good everything else has been in actual experience.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with these tires, and if I don't find a better option when it comes time to replace them, I'll likely buy another set of these. I'd recommend them as in my experience they have been excellent all-season tires.

I used this as winter tires for my MIATA. After a year I have to say the Quatrac is a Very balanced tire! Very strong dry and wet. Virtually no hydroplaning on the highway. The comfort and the noise level are far better than my summer tires (Firestone Firehawk Indy500)

I drive my RWD Miata on a snowy mountain pass and it is surprisingly capable! Never had an issue with traction and it just grips! I can slide my Miata around with confidence and control. The grip cycle on the snow is very balanced. The only thing I don't like is the steering feel is a little bit relaxed, but I cannot argue the clear showing on the dry/wet/snow grip. Definitely recommended

...This tire is very smooth and comfortable. I don't notice any particular noise coming from the tires, but my car is fairly noisy to begin with, especially with the top down...

I have only put 1K miles on them, so this is more of a First Impressions - type Review. I have already encountered a number of heavy storms here in North Georgia in the short time that I have had these tires. I had no issues .
I drive about 2/3 highway, and 1/3 side roads.
I know that the type of tire I just purchased for my MR2 Spyder is a "Grand Touring Tire", not the performance-oriented Bridgestone Potenzas that they came with. (I also had a previous MR2 Spyder, a 2003, and when it came time to replace the Potenzas, I put on a set of Dunlop Direzzas. They acted very similarly to the Potenzas.) This time, I decided that I wanted a more comfortable tire.

My apologies to all the driving purists amongst us. But I''m in my late 60''s, and I wanted to soften up the ride a bit. Besides, I ride a Honda VFR800 motorcycle, also, which satisfies my sporting tendencies.

This tire is very smooth and comfortable. I don''t notice any particular noise coming from the tires, but my car is fairly noisy to begin with, especially with the top down.
I feel the price is very reasonable, also.
I was a little familiar with the tire brand Vredestein from the bicycling world, having ridden on a set of them in the past.
I read up on them online. There were a number of reviews in the European press, and on YouTube.
This brand was also one of the few who make both of my two different tire sizes, 185/55/15 in front, and 215/45/16 in the rear. (I actually purchased one size wider tire up front, 195/55/15, to achieve the same speed rating.)
So I decided to take a chance. I''m glad I did.

...Best of all, they are massively more comfortable than the Michelins without sacrificing performance - the difference is quite surprising.

These tires replaced a 25,000 mile set of Michelin Pilot Sport+ tires that had plenty of tread left on them, but were badly cracking throughout the tread area. I chose these tires anticipating that they will be good in the Iowa snow - I'll know in a couple of months. The tires handle predictably, have very good traction and are great in heavy rain at speed. Best of all, they are massively more comfortable than the Michelins without sacrificing performance - the difference is quite surprising.

I got these tires to replace the factory Dunlop tires that came in my car. They are more comfortable than the old tires especially on the pot holed crappy city streets I commute on.

Even with the more comfortable ride, handling remains good and traction/grip is way better.

These tires are amazing in rain and light snow. The car is so much more sure footed in these conditions that it almost makes me forget I'm driving in rain/light snow.

The only downside is they are on the louder side. They aren't terrible, but I was hoping for an improvement over the factory tire (they are about the same as far as noise)

...Treadwear was good until I sold it, and there was a little bit of added road noise due to the decent sized voids for a passenger tire...

A very solid "premium" all around touring tire, I was between these and the Michelin CrossClimates. I was living in the Vail valley at the time and they did extremely well in sub zero winter temps, in spite of not being a snow/ice tire. In deep snow and glass ice there was some spinning, albeit not much (the car came with a limited slip front end, so disabling traction control meant it still could seriously pull), but expected for something that's not a winter tire. They do fine on gravel, but obviously had very limited off road due to the low clearance. Treadwear was good until I sold it, and there was a little bit of added road noise due to the decent sized voids for a passenger tire.

All around, a great choice if you regularly have to deal with both sub-zero winter conditions and triple digit pavement temps in the summer.
