Customers consistently rate the Vredestein Quatrac Pro+ as excellent in wet conditions, with most scores 9-10. Strong wet braking and hydroplaning resistance make it a top choice for all-season confidence.

...2000 miles later, the Vredesteins perform well for road adhesion in dry and wet conditions; I have yet to experience them in snow so I cannot address that aspect...
I was forced to replace the OEM tires that came on my '20 A6 Allroad due to a threaded bolt that went thru the bottom tread of a rear tire. To my dismay, local tire repair shops refused to patch the affected tire due to the acoustic foam strip glued to the inside of the OEM Continental Pro-Contact tire, a feature which purportedly helps quiet road noise. (I found out later that a few tire installers can deal with the repair by scraping away a portion of the foam strip in the affected area and then carefully sanding and smoothing the affected area to successfully receive a patch. It's labor intensive and most tire retailers don't have the skillset or the time. Continental does not recommend.) I was faced with replacing the tire itself. The space-saver spare was installed. My car had 23,000 miles at the time, so what to do? Replace one tire? Replace the rear set? Replace all four? I love my vehicle and intend to keep it indefinitely. A standout feature of the A6 Allroad is its standard air suspension and extremely plush ride on good road surfaces.
Tire Rack customers rated the Vredestein Quatrac Pro+ highest for comfort and noise, and gave high marks for other driving characteristics. These are not acoustic tires...no inside foam strip. I ordered a set of 4, had them shipped to a local shop, and after road-force balancing had them installed on my car. 2000 miles later, the Vredesteins perform well for road adhesion in dry and wet conditions; I have yet to experience them in snow so I cannot address that aspect. Despite better customer reviews for the Vredsteins as opposed to the Continentals, I am surprised that on my car these tires are no more comfortable...maybe just slightly firmer. I also detect no discernible difference with road noise levels, but then my Allroad with acoustic window glass is very quiet to begin with. Nevertheless, I will never purchase acoustic tires, given my experience, and these Vredsteins are a good alternative for my car.

Winter traction receives strong praise with most scores 9-10 for snow and ice grip. Occasional 7-8 ratings suggest minor variability in extreme conditions, but overall performance excels for all-season winter driving.

...They're excellent in snow/ ice/ wet, they exceed the performance of the CrossClimate2 (excellent tire as well) installed on our other vehicle, without question.
*AN HONEST REVIEW FROM A TIRE SNOB!*
--------21" OEM wheels, mounted on a 500 AWHP E85 tuned 2021 Explorer ST-------
Excellent tire overall but far from a performance tire, to be expected. They're excellent in snow/ ice/ wet, they exceed the performance of the CrossClimate2 (excellent tire as well) installed on our other vehicle, without question. They hold their own on dry pavement as well but with some drawbacks, as follows: Steering response and corning is very "mushy", these tires are extremely difficult to get accustomed to as they feel "floaty" at highway speed (didn't experience this issue with the CCS2 tires). I nearly returned them due to this experience but after around 1,000 miles they really settled in. Glad I kept them, I'd presume these are best winter-focus all season tires on the market!
Note: I can't speak on treadwear, yet, although they still look new after 8,000 miles. I'd assume they wear relatively quickly due to the compound of the tire, nearly as soft as dedicated winter tires (they feel softer than CCS2s).
Opinion: Buy them if winter traction is vital to you or you experience harsh winter weather in your region; they're very confidence insuring when driving in winter slop, comparable to Blizzak winter performance, although not as good (expected).
Do not buy them if you need to feel "connected" to the road, that factor will disappear with these tires and you'll be very unhappy with them.
***Final Rating: 9/10*** -----> Even with the aforementioned drawbacks, the pros heavily outweigh the cons, their winter performance is truly impressive & winter driving safety is very important to me.

I purchased these tires specifically for better winter driving efficiency, since the stock tires were slipping terribly in the snow and icy conditions. Ive only had these a little over a month, but I'm very happy with how they perform in winter conditions here in Western NY.

Excellent tire for all conditions. I researched several different tire brands before making a purchase.

...They are a quiet, comfortable riding tire...
I am very please with my purchase. when I purchased my tires, I was met with 6 inches of snow. No problem! Just recently had that storm that the eastern part of the United States experience. Got even more snow. The tires handled beautifully. I felt safe, confident, and happy that I purchased the tires. They are a quiet, comfortable riding tire. It handles Erie, Pennsylvania weather like it was raised in Erie.
