Most wet traction scores are 7-10, with many 9s/10s praising reliable grip. A few lower ratings exist, but the Geolandar G91F performs well in wet conditions as expected for all-season highway use.

...So far previous wet driving has been superb...
The tires came on the vehicle when leased in NE. I have never driven in a NE winter, but the tires handled well in light snow. Currently, driving in the AZ heat and surprised to say the tires are handling well in the heat and highway driving. I am looking at replacing them before this year's monsoon season. So far previous wet driving has been superb. I have not had a rough ride or road noise due to the tire.

...Great on wet roads. Confident driving through puddles at highway speeds(or 5-10 mph less)...
Tire came stock with my Forester- Well built tire. I would purchase again but the price point for the amount of thread life I think is too high. Plowed through 2 feet of fresh snow and was even able to go up the mountain in a snow storm. Car slid on full ice, no grip at all- But ice patches or ice with snow/dirt/rocks, these tires found traction. Great on wet roads. Confident driving through puddles at highway speeds(or 5-10 mph less). So-so on dry traction- I feel like the AWD system made the tires feel like they had better traction.
This review is from Seattle. We went up on the slopes the first year of this car mostly every weekend in the season. Drove on the wet/dry sands of Ocean Shores and went on one or two forest roads to cut down a Christmas tree. This tire can do it.

...I couldn't believe how well the tires held the road in wet and rain without hydroplaning...
This is my 2nd set of these tires as they were what came on my car when I bought it new. The 1st set I got an unbelievable 82,000 miles out of. I could have pushed them even farther but I didn't want to go through winter on the old ones. I mostly drive back and forth to work on these tires, 60 mile round trip commute. I couldn't believe how well the tires [old set] held the road in wet and rain without hydroplaning. But, the last 5,000 miles or so the road noise was getting pretty loud. So I had no problem buying the same set of tires once the od ones wore out.
I have to say that the new set of tires are much louder than the original set. I don't know why and they aren't as loud as the original set were for the last 3000 miles of their life but I don't remember the original set being any where this loud. I'm hoping it goes away after some time maybe when the tread wears down some. But getting almost 85,000 out of OEM tires is great I think. I could have gone with cheaper tires but then I'd just have to replace them sooner and I feel like that's more expensive due to installation/balancing/stems/alignment costs.
I drive fast going straight but always have made a conscious effort to not corner like a maniac and make sure there is no noises coming from the tires. I have trip-tronic transmission so I always down shift as I'm braking or just use the engine for braking as long as no one is right on my tail. I also have 85,000 miles the original brakes to give you an idea of how easy I am on brakes, although they're just about ready to be replaced so my results might not be typical but I've read reviews of people getting the same mileage out of their Geolanders and even more on the site.

The Yokohama Geolandar G91F delivers strong dry traction, with most scores 7-10. Customers report confident grip and responsive handling, excelling as a highway all-season tire. A few lower ratings note occasional concerns, but overall satisfaction is high.
February 13, 2019
...Customers praise the tire's dry performance, with one noting: "I gave them a high score on dry performance, mainly because of what I can do with them. We will leave it at very spirited driving on sharp, twisting roads, and I only wish my seats had a little more bolstering so I could go faster. They provide a lot of confidence driving."...
So these are the tires on my 2017 Subaru Crosstrek. and I really like them. They are expensive, but paired with subaru's AWD system they have only gotten me stuck once, and that was offroading and there was ice. On the highway, I have no issues with them, gas mileage is fantastic, make no noise. I gave them a high score on dry performance, mainly because of what I can do with them. We will leave it at very spirited driving on sharp, twisting roads, and I only wish my seats had a little more bolstering so I could go faster. They provide a lot of confidence driving. (again, not sure if that is also with help from subaru awd).
In the rain they are just as good. Whenever it rains, I see it as an opportunity for an undercarriage wash, so I go to this one road that always pools up significantly. I had to drive through it at upwards of 45mph before I felt the car start to want to wander.
In snow, they're alright. If you drive normally and leave room to stop they're good. But if you're like me, you like to slide around when no ones around, and that is when trouble can arise. This is warranted IMO, due to being only an all season tire. I have drove it out of my driveway with 10 inches of snow and no issues again unless I give the car too much gas.
Finally, and my favorite part about these tires is the offroad capability. They aren't terrible, nothing like a true AT/MT, but wow. I have gone down discontinued roads that are narrow and rocky, and the only issue becomes ground clearance. They handle water crossings well. Sand was the one place I had some concern, as it was a water crossing with water and the car wanted to slip. In mud, I would have given them a super high score before last week. I have parked the car to the center caps in mud and crawled out, but last week some slick mud with frozen ground before posed a huge issue nearly getting stuck, and resulted into the speedometer reading 60+, when I was only inching forward. Will be buying GO15s from Yokohama soon!

...I really can't comment too much on dry grip just yet but I've done some spirited driving on a mountain road, and I immediately felt a superb amount of stability and it definitely feels like i could push the car much much more...
over 99,000 miles on these factory tires and still tread remaining. Was planning to replace them before winter but didn't get around to it. I have been amazed at how well they have done in the several snows we had this year, and still have not noticed a hydroplaning issue (and i'm not the pokiest driver)

...Traction has been great in every circumstance I've encountered...
These tires are the originals that were on the car when I bought it. 74k and there is still plenty of tread left. I rotate them every 7500 miles. Traction has been great in every circumstance I've encountered. They are a little bit noisier than I would like, but I'm really nitpicking on this point. Excellent tires!

...They are quiet on the road and have been a comfortable tire...
These tires came on my Forester. I think overall I have been pleased with them. I would have liked to get more miles on them, before changing, but overall I am satisfied with them. They are quiet on the road and have been a very comfortable tire. I use my car for work in construction sites and trails, so they have done pretty well off road as well as on the highway. These are a nice option, but I chose a different model to replace them with, because of price, warranty and customer rating.

I was all over the East Coast last summer on every kind of dirt road there is and these were quiet and gripped the road perfectly in all sorts of nasty conditions.
I have 2 Subaru Foresters. My 2013 has the Geolanders on it. I haven't driven in deep snow, but I live in Colorado, so I would put snows on for deep snow. I was all over the East Coast last summer on every kind of dirt road there is and these were quiet and gripped the road perfectly in all sorts of nasty conditions. Rain, mud, water, etc. I am impressed because these tires are the perfect mix of off road and highway, which also equates into great gas mileage. It has the perfect tread for both and does well with both types of road. I've had beefy off road tires on my other subie, and the mileage dropped a lot (23 mpg highway, plus I was in Canada and paying $6/gal, so $75 to fill up). I have a little over 25K on these, lots of tread left, will easily get 50K and I like that the tire is versatile because I'm always exploring different places and go on wilderness dirt roads where I need traction and grip but also need the gas mileage. I hesitate to put beefy tires on my subies again since the mileage drops so radically. I'm a little more aware of staying light for the gas mileage. I already have 4 new Geolanders that I got a deal on. Love the versatility... and the gas mileage... Happy road tripping and exploring!! I think these are the perfect mix for me.

These OEM tires perform better then fair for most road conditions. But where this tire really shines is in tread life. While most of my driving is highway, I currently have 70,000 miles on these tires and should get 80,000 no problem. Great commute tire.

Purchased 2 new tires after 72,000 miles and purchasing my next 2 at right over 80,000 miles...
Purchased 2 new tires afer 72,000 miles and purchasing my next 2 at right over 80,000 miles. Although I cannot compare with previous experiences, I feel that these tires served me extremely well. I am ordering these tires again, even though they are not the cheapest. A lot of miles have been highway, but on the flip side, we live on dirt roads and in the winter we do get snow fall that can be over a foot. Snowboarding in Colorado with this car is a breeze as well.

...They are a fine all season tire, got great mileage out of them. 50k and still are not at wear bars or anything...
I feel like my only real complaint is the price. They really are too much, you can get alot of other tires for cheaper. They are a fine all season tire, got great mileage out of them. 50k and still are not at wear bars or anything. Really cant complain, but i would say you can do better price wise.
Snow traction is really good when the tread depth is high, deteriorates fast when the tread goes down. They are all season so can't expect winter tires. They are good all seasons, good at everything excellent at nothing as a true all season tire is. Its a jack of all trades.

...In light to deep snow, these are about the best tires you can get. No question...
This was my oem tire for my daughters car.
Look I live in monument Colorado and 24 inches of snow is common along with ice.
I also own and drive a BMW m4 and 2 jeeps so I know how tires perform for the various conditions.
Let me state , these are EXCELLENT tires and I am writing this as I order a replacement set.
In light to deep snow, these are about the best tires you can get. No question.
Most Subaru dirivers, well let's be honest are not car enthusiasts, but if you want a tire that performs great in snow and ice, solid wet traction
Look no further. I got @55k out of these with zero issues
If you drive a BMW? And looking for high performance? No, unless again you have an x drive and need the traction in the winter.

These tires came OEM on my Subaru Forester and I drove them to 81000 miles accross all conditions in southern Wisconsin, including harsh winters. They are a great all-around tire with good traction in all conditions and a great treadlife. After 8 years and 81k miles, there were still 4/32" left on each tread and I probably could have pushed it another season, but there was a bit of cracking starting, which isn't all that surprising as I've stored the car outside for at least 4 of the last 8 years. All in all, these tires don't owe me anything. I would have bought them again, if they weren't so freakin expensive. I found a deal on a set of Firestone Weathergrips which I'm trying instead, but if you can find these for a good deal, they will serve you well.
