Yokohama  Geolandar H/T G056

While maybe intended for lighter SUV's, the Yokohama handles my 5870lb. curb weight truck very well. The sidewalls have some "give" in hard cornering, which causes a little front-end "push", but the smoother, quieter ride is more than an even trade-off. The push occurs only in 90%+ handling on VERY HARD cornering. The lateral traction is such that setting the truck into a "drift" isn't possible, which is just as well, as this heavy a vehicle gets "hairy" with small road bumps in a drift. My wheels are 20" x 9" which limits my tire choices a lot. The GeoLander 650 being brand-new didn't have many owner reviews yet. I can honestly say I'll put them up against the Michelin Latitude top-of-the line tire with little trade-off. Tread-wear may not be quite as good, or ice/snow traction (I'll see about that), but they are a different class than the OEM Goodyear Wrangler T/R's. They may not make your pick-up handle like a Porsche, but they are about as good as you can get IMHO. They also handle the 414HP /465 ft/lb's of my lightly modded Hemi well. Stopping traction on wet/dry pavement is outstanding, especially at the limit where the ABS cuts in. I am extremely happy with the tires so far. For a 2WD truck on streets and highway they are an outstanding value too.

Tires give me excellent fuel mileage, whether city or expressway driving. The tires have enough durability to go over light unpaved roads, gravel, and sand. The tires do not lose traction on wet surfaces. The tires offer good shock absorption / cushion when running over bumps. The Geolandar H/T G056 is quiet for long cruising routes. The price per tire is reasonable, and the tire carcass is well constructed and durable. I would definitely buy another set for my car.

this tire is great on handling and ride comfort on wet or dry roads. I would definitely buy these tires again.

Had these Yokohama's on now for 3 days. They were put on during a significant snowstorm so I was able to test drive them immediately. Traction was great. I researched these thoroughly before buying. It was between the Geolandar's G056 and the Michelin LX2's. I went with the Geolandar's due to significant price difference but similar ratings, and past history with Yokohama's. I am pleased. they performed extremely well in the snow. Deep tread design grips well, and noise level is down substantially from my previous tires.

Purchased these tires to replace OEM Michelin Latitude. Surprisingly better ride, noise level and handling. Experienced through snow and icy condition and the tires handle exceptionally well for all season type.

I've only had these tires on car for a week a little over 200 miles. Been snowing and freezing in north east. But these tires are great in snow/slush. Very smooth and quiet, and the 5k pound suv feels more nimble in cornering. Going on a 100 mile drive to Poconos this weekend, looking forward to the drive.

These tires were impressive from the moment they were mounted. The ride is firm but not harsh. The feel is very positive and quiet. Driving winding roads is enjoyable as these tires grip well and provide great cornering. on a recent trip, my Tacoma handled well and was a hoot to drive along US Hwy 12 between Lewiston, ID and Lolo, MT. I would definitely recommend these tires.

These tires are so much better than the original Goodyear Forteras it's not funny. Even with 125000 miles on my Jeep these tires make it feel like it has a bran new suspension. No joke. Toss out the Goodyear garbage and upgrade to these. They don't cost much more and are worth every penny!

Competent traction in most conditioned with the exception of packed snow and ice where the tires readily gave up traction. A decent road tire with good wet and dry traction, low noise and good directional stability. This is a good tire choice where snow traction is not emphasized. Tread wear was good but wet traction suffered after about 3/32 tread wear.

I put these on my truck instead of LT tires, best thing I've done .. I was getting beat to heck, single cab HD's are extremely rough and these tires make me smile when I drive again, it's an unbelievable difference in comfort .. and I can still put over 2 tons in the bed.

Have only driven about 500 - 600 miles so far but would recommend these tires to anyone. Quiet, smooth ride, decent price, and they look great. Am very pleased so far with the performance and ride quality.

I run dedicated winter tires on my truck and these Yoko's are my "summer" set of tires. I finally took off my Firestone Winterforces and put these on a couple weeks ago. They are hands down the smoothest, quietest, best riding truck tires I've ever purchased, and this includes having had Michelins.

3 of the tires took just .25 OZ weights, one on each side, and one took a 1.75 OZ on the outside to zero out.

I'm glad I went with them! At their price you'd make a mistake not to...

This is my second set of these tires. I rotate my every other oil change on a 3000 oil change. I got almost 90,000 miles out of a 70,000 mile tire. Well worth buying.

With 25,000 miles treadwear the tires still have plenty of tread left. I believe another 10 to 15K is possible. On time rotation has to be a factor for the even treadwear/extended life. Will DEFINITELY purchase another set.

I’ve purchased this same tire several times for various vehicles. Usually get between 60 to 70 thousand miles out of them with zero issues. Always rotating at 5000 mile increments.
