Does this tire fit your vehicle?

Tires are designed specifically for different vehicles and wheel sizes. Tell us about your vehicle or the specific size you want so we can help find the right tires for you.

The Geolandar H/T G056 is Yokohama's Highway All-Season tire developed for the drivers of trucks, SUVs and full-size vans looking to operate their vehicle on-road year-round, even through wintry conditions. Designed to blend a quiet and comfortable ride with long treadlife, Geolandar H/T G056 tires are engineered to deliver all-weather handling and all-season traction, even in light snow.

Geolandar H/T G056 tires feature Yokohama's advanced all-season compound that combines Orange Oil Technology and Micro Silica that enhance wet traction with high-tech polymers that resist wear and permit the tread to deliver year-round traction by remaining pliable in cold temperatures. This compound is molded into a symmetric tread design featuring Adaptive Shoulder Blocks that form continuous shoulder ribs to reduce road noise and promote even wear. Triple 3-D Sipes help stabilize the tread blocks to promote even wear, as well as provide more biting edges to enhance foul-weather traction. Independent intermediate and center tread blocks feature zigzag sides and multi-angle lateral grooves promote traction in wet and wintry conditions.

The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced with spirally wrapped nylon for extra durability. Two polyester casing plies provide strength and promote ride comfort.

...Stopping traction on wet/dry pavement is outstanding, especially at the limit where the ABS cuts in...

While maybe intended for lighter SUV's, the Yokohama handles my 5870lb. curb weight truck very well. The sidewalls have some "give" in hard cornering, which causes a little front-end "push", but the smoother, quieter ride is more than an even trade-off. The push occurs only in 90%+ handling on VERY HARD cornering. The lateral traction is such that setting the truck into a "drift" isn't possible, which is just as well, as this heavy a vehicle gets "hairy" with small road bumps in a drift. My wheels are 20" x 9" which limits my tire choices a lot. The GeoLander 650 being brand-new didn't have many owner reviews yet. I can honestly say I'll put them up against the Michelin Latitude top-of-the line tire with little trade-off. Tread-wear may not be quite as good, or ice/snow traction (I'll see about that), but they are a different class than the OEM Goodyear Wrangler T/R's. They may not make your pick-up handle like a Porsche, but they are about as good as you can get IMHO. They also handle the 414HP /465 ft/lb's of my lightly modded Hemi well. Stopping traction on wet/dry pavement is outstanding, especially at the limit where the ABS cuts in. I am extremely happy with the tires so far. For a 2WD truck on streets and highway they are an outstanding value too.

...The tires do not lose traction on wet surfaces...

Tires give me excellent fuel mileage, whether city or expressway driving. The tires have enough durability to go over light unpaved roads, gravel, and sand. The tires do not lose traction on wet surfaces. The tires offer good shock absorption / cushion when running over bumps. The Geolandar H/T G056 is quiet for long cruising routes. The price per tire is reasonable, and the tire carcass is well constructed and durable. I would definitely buy another set for my car.

Had these Yokohama's on now for 3 days. They were put on during a significant snowstorm so I was able to test drive them immediately. Traction was great. I researched these thoroughly before buying. It was between the Geolandar's G056 and the Michelin LX2's. I went with the Geolandar's due to significant price difference but similar ratings, and past history with Yokohama's. I am pleased. they performed extremely well in the snow. Deep tread design grips well, and noise level is down substantially from my previous tires.

I've only had these tires on car for a week a little over 200 miles. Been snowing and freezing in north east. But these tires are great in snow/slush. Very smooth and quiet, and the 5k pound suv feels more nimble in cornering. Going on a 100 mile drive to Poconos this weekend, looking forward to the drive.

...Wet traction, snow traction hydroplane resistance and stability easily twice as good as the Goodyear...

Replaced oe Goodyear wrangler sra, which at 20 k were shot and just scary on anything other than dry road. We've been getting hammered with snow ice sleet and rain all winter here on Long Island. The truck has never driven better since I put these on. As quiet as the goody ears were when new. Wet traction, snow traction hydroplane resistance and stability easily twice as good as the Goodyear. I am impressed enough to write one of the first reviews ever. Will buy again and again

...First reactions were smooth, quiet in the wet, and above average grip in both acceleration and braking. The next few days were dry and clear and still the tires performed well above my expectations...

These tires were installed during a cold rainy day at the end of Oct. First reactions were smooth, quiet in the wet, and above average grip in both acceleration and braking. The next few days were dry and clear and still the tires performed well above my expectations. Very comfortable and quiet. Bare in mind, I changed from a Continental LX20 (not an AT tire), so saying these are quiet and smooth is really something! My greatest fears were realized 2-3 weeks later when it started to snow. Not, "hey, first snow in November snow.' This was middle of December, lake effect 2 feet of snow. Mix it with the fact the roads were nice and warm from just a few days past and it was a recipe for disaster if you do not have your winter tires installed. Hestitantly, I switched to 4WD and ventured out into the great unknown frozen Tundra. The first real test was the 45 degree downhill road that ends with a sharp left turn or straight into the river. The road was pure ice after the snow truck just cleaned off the needed snow flakes. I am happy to say I am still here today because of the tires. It was not perfect by any means, the tires slid and wanted to break loose, but they held the road. The next week was more snow - less ice and the tires were amazing! The grip is fantastic when there is snow on the ground. Ice only and you will have acceleration/braking issues, which should be expected anyway from an all-season tire not built specifically for ice traction. My overall score for this tire is an 8 and I would gladly recommend this tire to anyone looking for a reliable highway all-season tire for use year round.

...They are hands down the smoothest, quietest, best riding truck tires I've ever purchased, and this includes having had Michelins...

I run dedicated winter tires on my truck and these Yoko's are my "summer" set of tires. I finally took off my Firestone Winterforces and put these on a couple weeks ago. They are hands down the smoothest, quietest, best riding truck tires I've ever purchased, and this includes having had Michelins.

3 of the tires took just .25 OZ weights, one on each side, and one took a 1.75 OZ on the outside to zero out.

I'm glad I went with them! At their price you'd make a mistake not to...
