The PARADA Spec-X is Yokohama Tire's Street/Sport Truck All-Season radial developed for performance pickups and SUVs, as well as modern muscle cars like the Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger and Dodge Magnum. The PARADA Spec-X is designed to combine impressive looks and confident handling with year-round traction in North America's wide range of weather conditions, including in light snow.
The PARADA Spec-X radial's all-season tread compound is molded into an aggressive directional tread design that features linked shoulder blocks, variably sized intermediate tread blocks and two continuous center ribs to combine acceleration, braking and cornering competence with a comfortable ride. A wide circumferential center groove and sweeping lateral grooves provide water evacuation to resist hydroplaning and increase wet traction. The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped nylon to provide strength, uniformity and durability on top of a polyester cord body that enhances ride quality.

...Great ride, quiet and good in the rain storm we had coming home...
Got these based on the reviews by Cayenne owner here in TireRack. Great tire. Low noise. Drove from Boston to Quebec (400+ miles) and back for long weekend. Great ride, quiet and good in the rain storm we had coming home. For the price compared to Conti or Michelin you couldn't find a better tire.

I've only been on these for about 500 miles, but had to go in to work during the crazy snow and deep freeze we have had here in Chicago and the tires performed admirably. Much better than the stock Goodyears. I was most impressed driving home from the suburbs, about 30 miles, at night on the nearly unplowed snow packed freeway. The car felt rock stable in conditions that would have had me in the ditch on the stock Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 M+S's...

The car felt rock stable in conditions that would have had me in the ditch on the stock Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 M+S's. There is a little bit of tread growl and I do notice a slight range reduction, but the added stability in a corner and sure footedness in snow and icy conditions MORE than make up for it!

This is the best alternative to buying summer/winter tires for those with a bmw x7 - these squared up tires perform beautifully - my wife, who has no cold weather experience, drove back and forth over snowqualmie pass all winter and never had a single issue. Highly recommend these tires

...Steering responsiveness, handling and cornering are very good although the back end does tend to slide when pushed aggressively. Just about everyone else will do fine...
Replaced OEM Michelins that were fried after 40k miles on a 2017 F150 extended cab STX. This truck has an especially peppy 2.7l Ecoboost with a few bolt-on modifications including suspension upgrades. The tires do take a good deal of punishment as a result. So far they are holding up well. Freeway noise seems acceptable although the exhaust would drown it out so I am not a good source for that. Ride comfort is very good. Steering responsiveness, handling and cornering are very good although the back end does tend to slide when pushed aggressively. Just about everyone else will do fine. They do tend to sqeal a little bit and hop some at full throttle even at speed depending on road conditions but settle down. In fairness they are having to put a good deal of torque to the ground. The Michelin LTX MS out of the factory were not that great but these are a notch above IMO. They handle better, are more responsive and give better traction. The Michelins only lasted 40k miles so they weren't worth the $215/tire to replace. These were $30 less/tire and so far have been a good value choice. They are also living in SoCal so no snow or winter weather exposure for these puppies. At least not yet but we will be heading up to the mountains, and hopefully Tahoe, in the near future. So overall I would rate them as an 8.7 out of 10. They're a good budget sport tire.

...Definitely stick on dry pavement and allow traction when accelerating from stop. Other tires (OEM) caused the traction control to come on all the time which takes throttle away and creates a frustrating environment when I want some power to merge or pull away from traffic...
These are summer tires only. Wanted a sportier tire that provided more traction for spirited driving but still sticks in wet weather. I also tow a 6000 lb boat and 10,000 lb enclosed trailer. For the price these are pretty good tires. Definitely stick on dry pavement and allow traction when accelerating from stop. Other tires (OEM) caused the traction control to come on all the time which takes throttle away and creates a frustrating environment when I want some power to merge or pull away from traffic.
These tires worked fairly well on slimy boat ramps allowing traction to pull the boat out of the water. Only once did I have to use 4wd to pull out of a really slimy boat ramp. I could see where these tires would not provide much confidence in snow/ice/slush especially braking events. For winter I prefer the BFG KO2's but in summer they break loose easy from stop light acceleration but they are exceptional towing heavy loads.
I normally buy only Michellins and tried these .... they are definitely a sportier tire but the Michelin LTX MS2's hold in wet and dry and are definitely quiet tires. I like them a lot. Had 2 sets already. In comparison to these I still lean to Michelin .... I guess in this case you get what you pay for .... if you're looking for a really good tire that's going to be under $1000 a set, I would recommend these but don't get too comfortable in snow/ice/slush.

...Thread wear is great (about 45,000 miles per set)traction on all conditions is great as well...
I have used this tires on both of my trucks for the last eight years or so. For my driving this are the best for my money. Thread wear is great ( about 45,000 miles per set) traction on all conditions is great as well. I have used similar sets from other brands and this are the tires that deliver the traction am looking for.

...The tread was good to pass inspection to at least 35,000 miles. I just bought a new set since the winter is coming and these won't last another season...
I first installed these on my 2016 RR SVR on a set of custom rims 285/40/22. I then carried the rim/tire set over to a 2021 SVR. Combined miles between the 2 vehicles is around 45,000 miles. I probably let this set go too long but when the pandemic hit it was not easy to find tires for a while. I have to say these tires are awesome and you’ll get your moneys worth in treadwear and performance. The tread was good to pass inspection to at least 35,000 miles. I just bought a new set since the winter is coming and these won’t last another season. I’ve owned every kind of tire at this point and these really impressed me. The fact that a set is $800 less than the Pirelli’s is just an added bonus. Great looking tread pattern to boot. I highly recommend these tires for a really good all season high performance durable tire. My set has been all throughout the rough NYC streets and long highway drives upstate. Never a flat, bubble or any issue. If you ever driven on NYC roads then you would be impressed. I’ve blown many tires out here but never these!

These tires are smooth with minimal road noise. Great traction in both wet and dry conditions. Tire wear is minimal after 25,000 miles. I've had many sets of tire brands over the years and I place these right at the top.
