Your vehicle is equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) that requires a sensor to be installed in the tire and wheel assembly for proper operation.
Your Original Equipment sensors may be compatible with these wheels. As an option, you may purchase the items listed below.
At this time, Tire Rack does not have sensors available for your vehicle. The original sensors from your original wheels can be used or you may purchase new sensors elsewhere.
The wheel you have selected is not designed to accept tire pressure monitoring system sensors.
Note: Installation of Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensors in your new wheels is required to keep your vehicle's TPMS functioning properly. NHTSA's interpretation of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act prohibits service providers from installing aftermarket tires and wheels on your vehicle without working TPMS sensors. Your vehicle will display a TPMS warning if sensors are not installed. This may be a warning light or chime and may affect other vehicle systems.
In some states, vehicle inspection regulations require operating TPMS on every vehicle that came with TPMS as Original Equipment. Check with local law enforcement officials to confirm restrictions in your area or check our latest listing here.
The Original Equipment sensors from your Original Equipment wheels may be compatible with the new wheels you selected. Please consult the "Important Notes" link found online for more information or call Tire Rack for assistance.
An inexpensive TPMS repair/rebuild kit is required when sensors are reused.
As an option you may purchase the sensors listed below. They are compatible with both your vehicle's TPMS and the wheel you have selected.
The Original Equipment sensors from your Original Equipment wheels will not work with this wheel due to interference between the sensor and the wheel barrel. Tire Rack has Original Equipment TPMS sensors customized with rubber or adjustable valve stems to correct the interference. The original sensors from your original wheels may be usable with a different wheel.
As an option you may purchase the sensors listed below. They are compatible with both your vehicle's TPMS and the wheel you have selected.
A trained technician should perform installation of your sensors after your new wheels are shipped to you. Tire Rack's Recommended Installers are available to help you with your installation needs and can be selected by ZIP/Postal Code in the shopping cart.
Once installed, you will need to read your vehicle's owner's manual to review the proper procedure for allowing your vehicle to "recognize" the new sensors.
For most vehicles we offer other wheel options that will accept sensors.
Use Wheel Search to find compatible wheels, or contact us for further assistance.
Without the sensors you will not receive notification of pressure loss in your tires. While some customers choose to use wheels without sensors, Tire Rack is unable to provide information on the effect this will have on your vehicle or the warnings and information it provides regarding tire pressure.
If you purchase a Tire & Wheel Package when you buy new sensors, the sensors will be installed on the wheels at no additional charge. Otherwise, you will have to arrange for installation by a trained technician after your new wheels are shipped to you.
