O.Z.  Superturismo LM

The Superturismo LM wheels are a stunning visual upgrade on a 2016 Mercedes E350 luxury. They add just enough visual prowess without compromising the refined and classic W212 E-Class body style. With Continental DWS 6 Plus tires mounted at the manufacturer approved optional size of 245/40 R18 the steering remains precise with a noticeable increase in responsiveness. Concerns that the ride will become harsh are not found here as the car maintains its extremely composed ride with some added agility. I’ll say the car rides smoother at highway speeds than it ever did riding on the original 245/45 R17 tires, which I found to be rather bouncy over any undulating surfaces. This particular wheel and tire upgrade guides the car along winding countryside roads with confidence and agility significantly above the original 17” set up. The icing on the cake comes from the many compliments I receive on how these wheels visually fit perfectly to the body style. FYI, I chose matt racing silver wheels to compliment the iridium silver body paint, stunning. IMO graphite wheels try to push the look too far toward a sport appearance at the expense of the more classic MB luxury appeal. If sport look is what you’re looking for, you’ll be better off to look for the E-Class sport optioned variant. The sport version will also likely bring a much stiffer ride than a wheel upgrade similar to what I’ve done on the luxury suspension. All in all I will conclude this was an excellent upgrade for this car. I’m very pleased.
