Little did I know, nor did the instructions explain, two pre-installed adapter parts needed to be removed and two added. The installation videos at PIAA are poorly planned and produced. PIAA does not provide a reference document or tool specifying which adapter parts are required by auto make/model/year.
These held up great for multiple years for me. Cleaned regularly, and vehicles in garage most of its life..
Until one day years later the plastic broke that held it to the arm.. But realistically l, nits been 5 years on the same wipers and they were working fine on cleaning... But a chunk of snow flew onto the windshield that apartenrly wad too much for it
These wipers are amazing. My 2nd car using them now. Piaa wipers last years, longer than any oem junk and brands in stores. Worth the investment to change wipers every few years. Super easy to install on my Camry. Many adapters included in package yet none needed, just slide onto the wiper arm. Definitely recommend if you want to Make Rain Driving Great Again
Not the wipers fault the best wipers I've ever had I love in Florida and they stand up to the heat
My thoughts it should know better than to try and attempt something like put it on a wipers it's not my forte
I suggest if you have difficulty with putting things together you let somebody else put on your wiper blades if you're changing from another brand especially
This was my third set (three different cars) of PIAA wipers. I'd tried seven different brands of premium wipers over several years before installing the ones from PIAA. All of the other brands (mostly rubber compound wipers, but two were silicone blades) started squeaking and juddering after six to nine months. The PIAA are smooth and silent even after several years of use.
The assembly and installation isn't intuitive and the lack of written instructions is a bit frustrating. Just having some drawings of the parts to allow you to determine which of the pieces to use for your particular wipers is helpful, but insufficient. Instructions on how to remove the pre-installed adapter, noting the arrows on the pieces to help get the adapters aligned right, and maybe a reference site for how to remove the old wipers would be helpful.
These are great wipers. I'm glad I bought them, they're so smooth and they feel high quality. I'm sure they'll last for years to come. Remember to look at the order notes for what adapter to use. My Toyota Corolla 2013 LE didn't need an adapter. The QR code has the instructions, there's none in the package itself. I bought the right size (26", 16") and only a small amount of the lower left corner and the upper right corner aren't in the wiping radius. A million times better than the stock wipers I've had for years, to be sure.
I have had several sets of these wipers and put them on all my cars. Annually I keep my windshield clean of any micro debris by cleaning it like you do paint prep and ceramic coat it every year or two and by doing that these wipers have lasted a good 5+ years making them economical. Their wiping ability is incredible.
This is the fourth vehicle I have put these on. I originally put these on my father-in-law's 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee in 2018. He's still using them today. The second longest lasting pair I have were on my 2014 Mazda CX-5 in 2019. I sold it recently with them still on it and put a new set on my new car. No cracking, no streaks, no chatter--nothing. These have been the longest lasting wiper I have ever used or heard of . The only difficulty is deciphering which adapter set is appropriate for each car. A little more in-depth pictographs would be appreciated. Other than that, good job PIAA!
I have had PIAA Silicon/ PIAA Si-Tech wipers on other vehicles. Excellent quality. No streak or chatter. Silicon wipes for windshield and blades make product act like Rain-Ex. Water will pour/stream off windshield in rain to the point where you can still see well with wipers hardly engaged (at speed). These fit car but drivers side wiper assy a bit longer-comes close to passenger wiper at rest but no contact. Have not used in rain yet, but confident all will be well.
I've lived in northwest Oregon for 20+ years. Everything you've heard about the rain here is true. When I first moved here, windshield wipers were an annual expense: buy new ones in October, before the rainy season begins in earnest.
That stopped the first time I went with these PIAA silicone wipers. Where the usual parts-store wipers would show visibly deteriorated performance within 8-10 months, the PIAAs can last up to three years in normal use. So twice the cost divided by three years makes these a bargain. AND they give much better visibility, even now that I've moved to the coast.
One key to getting the full performance: use the alcohol wipes provided with the kit to get your windshield TRULY clean. That lets the blades do their thing.
The only time I don't use these wipers? On my vintage, sunny-day cars. (Even if they MADE a wiper for the 1951 M.G. TD I used to own, it wouldn't matter as I never put the top up on that car...)
2012 Fusion 2nd car that I have purchased these wipers for and I have been totally satisfied with the wiper performance. I use them year round even in the frigid Canadian winters. When I purchased this vehicle I removed the original wipers and I trashed them there is no comparison to the PIAA. The only problem is with Tire Rack and there shipping cost. Shipping cost us more than the wipers c'mon tire rack wise up slip them in the mail.
I put a set of these on my wife's BMW, and they've been terrific. For my SUV, I've been using the current set of blades for about a year now - I live in California, so they don't get that much use. They've held up well well in terms of not streaking, but the driver side makes a horrible squealing noise that doesn't go away regardless of how hard it may rain.
Both the driver's and passenger's side wipers worked great for about 2 weeks. The passenger side is still working great over a month after installation. However, the driver's side has a 4" path that eludes the wiper. Not sure why this is happening but it sure is frustrating.
easy to install..no frustration as much i have had with others.
and better wiping quality..a bit high priced but overall satified..
I always bought wipers for Winter and Summer. Now I don't have to worry about making a change. The differance between , lets say Canadian Tire Brand blades and these are day and night!! If you don't already have them, you have to get them A.S.A.P. I can write on and on about the quality of these blades, but I would surly run out of space.
As easy as can be to install, and they work great. I only put them on in Oct. so I don't know how they will do in winter. The way it's built, Im sure it will work great. K.M. Montreal, Canada.

Wiping is perfect and suprised to see the water being beading off the glass!!!
