The gauge is well made and the large dial is easy to read. I don't like the hose connecting the gauge to the chuck because two hands are required to use the gauge. Also, the brass chuck is small, which makes it difficult to get it properly aligned on the valve stem of the tire to get an accurate reading. In addition, the gauge shows the pressure reading only when the chuck is on the valve stem. It doesn't hold the reading when you remove the chuck. I bought this gauge because it was top rated by Consumer Reports, but overall I'm disappointed with it. I wouldn't buy it again and I wouldn't recommend it to a friend.
easy to read. easy to use. Has a bleed valve which is essential to achieve consistent inflation for 4 wheels. The 1 psi resolution is very adequate. Thsi gauge has nice repeatability (I get consistent readings if I repeat a measurement).
As in any tire gauge, accuracy is unknown unless you can calibrate against a known value - this one reads 1 psi higher than the pencil gauge I also use and 2 psi below my inflation pump gauge, but I decided to use it as my go-to pressure.

Used once, worked on 2 tires (I think) then read 5.5lbs and would not zero out. Told that it could have jumped a tooth, never dropped or mishandled it?? Gauge read 2-1/2 lbs lower than my other high quality gauge, don't know yet which one was/is correct. Very disappointed, bought because it was supposedly high quality and made in the USA. We'll see how long the next one lasts.
The other reviews pretty much say it all ... this is a high quality, accurate, made-in-the-USA gauge, with quality fittings and built to last. The thumb valve and swivel head are convenient, the large face and markings are easy to read, and it gives spot-on repeatable readings, unlike the inexpensive gauges. The cheapies just don't hold a candle to a nice tool like this - it's easily worth the few extra bucks.
Used it the first time at an Autocross event and loved it! Would definitely recommend this to anyone. The Goodyear hose is thick and you can see that this will last a very long time with no worries of it leaking. I was debating either to get the 2.5" or the 4" and glad I got the 2.5". It's easy to see the PSI at a glance. The gauge is accurate and that was the main thing I was looking for. Stop wasting your time on expensive gauges, just go with this one!
This gauge is exactly what I've been looking for. It is very easy to use, gives quick accurate readings, and has a very useful glow-in-the-dark face.
The only thing I wish it had were a loop, or hook, to hang it with. I've put it in a drawer, but I'd rather have it hanging on the wall in the garage.
This is the gauge I should have bought years ago, and I'm sure it will pay for itself in accurate readings.
