The Advantage T/A Sport LT is BFGoodrich's Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season tire for drivers of light trucks, SUVs and crossover vehicles looking for handling and responsiveness to add some fun to the daily commute, combined with confidence in inclement weather. The Advantage T/A Sport LT is designed as an all-weather tire to meet industry severe snow service requirements qualifying for the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol alongside its all-season performance.
Advantage T/A Sport LT tires feature an advanced, all-season tread compound molded into a symmetrical design, allowing easy cross rotation to resist irregular wear. The tire's continuous center rib creates constant contact with the road, and combined with the optimized footprint provided by the Next Generation ETEC (Equal TEnsion Containment) System, delivers confident handling and high speed stability. Utilizing full-depth tread features helps to deliver traction mile after mile while the wide, circumferential grooves efficiently channel water through the contact patch for increased hydroplaning resistance. 3D Active Sipe Technology sipes provide an increased number of biting edges for improved wet and light snow traction.
The tire's internal structure includes a two ply polyester body casing. Next Generation g-Wedge Sidewall Stabilizer inserts help control distortion during cornering, and two wide, steel belts with a spirally-wrapped nylon reinforcement deliver durability, ride quality and stability.
Note: While non-winter tires featuring the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol may provide additional longitudinal snow traction beyond what all-season (M+S) tires not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire in all adverse weather conditions.

...Since installing them, there hasn't really been any heavy snowstorms, but the light snow and rain we did get these tires handled it like a champ...
First of all, these tires just look solid. They have a nice beefy look to them, and to me they really change the appearance of the car. I ordered these based on the TireRack recommendation, and although they were a little more expensive than I was planning for, I went ahead and got them and I'm so glad I did. So far I only have about 1500 miles on them, but I have no problems yet. Since installing them, there hasn't really been any heavy snowstorms, but the light snow and rain we did get these tires handled it like a champ. There is no noticeable road noise, and the ride seems comfortable enough. I can't wait until next winter!

...They handle well and have been great to drive in wet conditions...
At first, I was worried because the tires seemed loud, but after a bit of initial wear they settled in and are now nice and quiet. They handle well and have been great to drive in wet conditions. Great tires. Really happy with them.

In my opinion, I'm comparing this tire with MICHELIN LATITUDE TOUR HP SL *Below 50mph this tire noise is very low, par with Michelin above *60mph and up this tire is louder (2nd-row passenger cannot even hear what the driver is saying without raising tone) *Stiff ride like a pickup truck. *Bumpy Ride *The pressure at 32psi on this tire equal to Michelin tire at 38psi. (Ride Quality) *Very loud when running on highway joint. *Excellent for Wet road, small water puddle *Handling almost same as Michelin above *Light Snow 1-3 inch is excellent *Stopping power is excellent (especially for NYC Red Light Camera)

Since I've had these tires on besides the daily driving, we've had to travel to Nebraska last December crossing Donner Pass twice at night in heavy snow with no issues. The rest of the trip was pretty much wet, slushy or ice/snow and the tires performed much better than I expected.

Braking is responsive, handles politely and the tires aren't overly noisy. I have no idea how long they will last, but based on my experience so far I'd buy another set of these in a heartbeat.

...They are the best non snow tires I have found, so far, for use during the winter in Western Michigan.
I have had these tires on two SRX's and would buy them again. They do a terrific job year around. They are the best non snow tires I have found, so far, for use even during the winter in Western Michigan.

Not sure what tires some of the reviewers are talking about but my experience has been amazing with this tire. I can drive 70 -75 in a downpour with confidence. Tread wear has been great. Snow traction is very good. She plans on getting a Nissan Rogue next and we will be putting these on it for sure.

...We've made one road trip of 700 miles round trip, I'm very impressed; handling is great...
My wife's Subaru Ascent OEM tire was a Falken. We got 43K miles on them, down to the wear bars. Tread was more of a street tread than a M&S rated tread for an all wheel drive SUV. I wanted a more agressive tread, but I didn't want road noise. The BFG Advantage T/A Sport LT had the highest rating for her vehicle and tire size on the Tire Rack website. We've made one road trip of 700 miles round trip, I'm very impressed; handling is great, road noise is less than the OEM tire when new or when worn. I'm looking forward to seeing how much treadwear mileage we get, as I've had BFG A/T KO's on my Chevy Z71 & previous Tahoe's and a Toyota FJ Cruiser, I've had great results on several sets of them.

...Dry grip is just as good and they definitely handle and corner with a lot more confidence than the stock Toyo tires...
I know I don't have too many miles on them yet (1000 or so) but this review will cover all my initial thoughts.
First off they look great. I know most people might not care about how they look but as an automotive enthusiast with a MK7 Golf R, I definitely found these to be my favorites out of any tire I've ever bought. The tread pattern is fairly aggressive for a A/S passenger tire, very similar to the set of Blizzaks WS80s I own. I really like how the treads sweep out onto the sidewall and allow the precipitation to evacuate the inner tread efficiently. So far wet grip (driving in moderate to heavy rain) is very confidence inspiring. I have yet to "spin" or lose grip of the tires on the wet pavement. Then gain it's a relatively slow tall crossover, so it's not like it's putting a bunch of power down to the pavement. Dry grip is just as good and they definitely handle and corner with a lot more confidence than the stock Toyo tires. The strangest part about these tires is despite their fairly aggressive tread, they are super quiet on the highway, even more so than the stock Toyos with the same mileage, this might change as the tread wears but so far so good.
So in conclusion, I couldn't be happier with the performance and cost of this tire. I will come back with an update later on once I get more miles on them.

...significantly smoother, very responsive, good grip, NO road noise. very good, stable, and comfortable...
These tires are the 2nd purchase of same model (newly designed tread pattern - & much better). I had to replace bc my son kept them at max pressure and low load, lead to center wear. Replaced two front tires, noticed new tread, bought rear two. Once installed, ride is significantly smoother, very responsive, good grip, NO road noise. Handling is very good, stable, and comfortable. These tires are on the higher end of the price range, but a better buy than higher priced/similar tires. The RDX is a sport ride, these tires make it smooth while not rolling. I have performance brakes and vented discs, and these tires have been great additions. I would highly recommend these tires. They are also 'AT', but don't have knobs, so ride smooth in city and highway while giving you good rain traction and medium snow traction (light snow). Again, highly recommend. Would purchase again.

...A soft, compliant ride and inspired confidence means I would for sure buy these again as well as recommend to others (for a vehicle like this).
I put these on the gf's Flex and we immediately took a road trip from Georgia to northern Michigan and back. It rained very hard going up and coming back, which was not a factor. I had the utmost confidence in hard rain and dry conditions alike. A soft, compliant ride and inspired confidence means I would for sure buy these again as well as recommend to others (for a vehicle like this).

I've had these tires now for one and a half years... Tread wear still looks new...
I've had these tires now for one and a half years. I've driven in all the conditions rated and found this set of tires to be excellent in almost every category. We live in the country and anyone knows that country roads can be rough. These tires handle those roads with ease. They are smooth and quiet on the highway as well as in the city. Tread wear still looks new. They look great on my 2015 RAM pickup. I will purchase these tires again.

...For the first 20,000 - 30,000 miles the road noise was tolerable but now that we've put on 60,000+ it has become extremely annoying, even with the radio on...
If you're looking for a tire with excellent tread wear and handles very well in both dry and wet conditions plus is decent in snow/ice then I'd certainly consider this tire. However, be aware that as you put more miles on the road noise becomes very distracting and makes driving unenjoyable. For the first 20,000 - 30,000 miles the road noise was tolerable but now that we've put on 60,000+ it has become extremely annoying, even with the radio on. Otherwise, it's a pretty good tire.....just beware that there's a good chance you'll be hearing an increasing whining coming from the tires....at least that's what we've experienced with out Honda CRV. By the way I check the tires for proper inflation and rotate every 7-8,000 miles.
