Most customers rate wet traction highly with scores of 8-10, highlighting confident grip in wet conditions. A few lower scores (1-6) indicate occasional concerns in heavy rain.

...Very low road noise, significantly improved traction and handling ( both dry and wet), and very good steering responsiveness...
Originally I was skeptical of fuel efficiency claims... however I am pleasantly surprised of the 1 MPG (or so) of improved gas mileage of combined Highway and City driving. Compared to the OEM Goodyear Fortera's, these Ecopia tires are outstanding. Very low road noise, significantly improved traction and handling (both dry and wet), and very good steering responsiveness. These tires have a very soft compound, I am interested to see how long they will last but the 65,000 mile warranty suggests they are designed to last. Overall outstanding tire so far, very pleased.

...Silent, smooth, responsive, good in wet and in snow...
I put these on my 1/2 Ton Chevy pickup and they are great. Silent, smooth, responsive, good in wet and snow. I get over 22 MPG on the highway in the winter and over 23 MPG in the summer at 65MPH on flat land. The tires barely show any wear at this point so I hope they last. I don't think I have ever been this impressed with a set of tires. Good job Bridgestone!

We have not experienced all weather conditions yet but so far the cornering is very good, dry and wet traction very good, noise level as quiet as the Michelins (some Bridgestone tires are very noisy so we were worried about the noise level), and rolls like it is riding on a small cushion of air so far...
We just purchased these Bridgestone Dueler H/L 422 Ecopia Low Rolling Resistance tires replacing the original Michelin tires at about 37000 miles. So far we are getting 1-2 mpg better than the Michelin tires which was initially unexpected because our Michelin tires were very worn down. We have not experienced all weather conditions yet but so far the cornering is very good, dry and wet traction very good, noise level as quiet as the Michelins (some Bridgestone tires are very noisy so we were worried about the noise level), and rolls like it is riding on a small cushion of air so far. So far so good. Hopefully we'll keep this updated on its performance over time but are rated to go 65000 miles. (After our Michelin OE tires lasting only 37000 miles I am hoping this is so.)

...handling seems great in all sorts of weather (including in Wisconsin winters)...
Bought four of these for my Highlander in Dec, 2014. Have put approx 15k miles on since then. Road noise is low, handling seems great in all sorts of weather (including Wisconsin winters). I'm not a tire expert so I can't say that other tires might not be better, but I'm 100% happy with this purchase. Highly recommended.

...We just got a 7" snow fall last week with huge 4' drifts and we powered right through them no problem...
I LOVE these tires. Just put them on my '11 Kia Sorento AWD a few weeks ago. The stock Kumho tires only made it 34,000 miles and they were very loud and made for a rough ride. It was night and day switching to these. Quiet, smooth ride so far. We live in western Wisconsin so we get quite a bit of snow. Granted I have AWD, but I have to work to get the ABS to kick in. We just got a 7" snow fall last week with huge 4' drifts and we powered right through them no problem. Two things I cannot speak to yet are treadwear and MPG improvements. I will be watching treadwear closely as we put on about 20,000 miles per year on this vehicle. I'm kind of cynical that these "Ecopia" tires will improve my mileage, but that is not why I bought them. Hopefully we'll see an improvement, but I won't be too bummed if we don't. I bought them primarily for the snow traction and high mileage warranty.

I just returned from a 2500 mile trip from CA to Utah and Colorado and then back. I saw approximately 200 miles of blizzard and icy conditions on the way out, lots of in town snow/ice driving in Colorado, and another 100 miles of extremely snowy and icy conditions on the way home. These are the best all season tires I have ever used in the snow...
I purchased these to replace the stock dunlop Grand Trek's which were surprisingly good for an OE tire which I got 40K uneventful miles out of. This review compares these tires to the OE's and agaisnt similar tires I have had on other vehicles in the past, mainly the Continental Extremecontact DWS.
The Ecopias are the real deal. I have seen a 1mpg increase in city driving and a 2.5mpg increase on the highway. They are exceptionally quiet especially compared to the Grand Treks. They do thump a little harder over imperfections in the road but that is expected as they are a higher load rating tire. Being a low rolling resistance tire they do not corner as well as the OE's and they are a little bouncier, however the increased noise comfort and fuel economy more than make up for it.
Where these tires really shine is in inclement weather. These are the best all season tires I have ever used in the snow. While they are not as good as a full winter tire they handled the snow and ice with confidence. In the rain they are just as at home as on dry pavement.
If you are looking for a quiet capable and efficient tire, these are for you. Only time will tell how they stand up as the miles pile on but so far they are the quietest tire with the best all season snow performance of any tire I have ever used. The only car I have felt more confident in the snow in is my Subaru STi with Blizzak tires and that car is a veritable snowmobile with front and rear limited slip differentials and a locking center differential.

...dry and wet traction have been commendable and there have been no problems thus far...
So far, this tire has been great. Some minor road noise is noticeable, but it is very slight and is not a problem during highway cruising. Both dry and wet traction have been commendable and there have been no problems thus far. Seemed very stable driving in the pouring rain. Some light snow duty was handled easily. Only concern will be treadwear. And I haven't really noticed any increase in mpg. I would recommend this tire and would purchase again.

...The tires are quiet on the highway, very respectable performance on rainy days, steering and cornering response are as good as the OEM tires if not better...
It would seem from reviews and reading I did before purchasing this tire that its performance varies greatly across size/load ratings. My purchase (235/65R17) are 108V XL rated with 50PSI max inflation - rated for 2205 lbs load rating. Other sizes are rated for as low as 1700lbs load rating at max 44psi. I drive these at 45PSI (as opposed to the 40psi the vehicle mfg recommends). My results have been stellar. 25,000 miles and only 1/32 wear thus far. Fuel economy is about 2mpg better than the Kumho Solus KL21 OEM tires (which are also considered a LRR tire) and about 5mpg better than my winter tires. I got 60,000 miles on the OEM Kumho tires - I don't see any reason I shouldn't get that or better from these tires based on the current wear. It took 10,000 miles for the tire injection mold nubbins to wear off. The tires are quiet on the highway, very respectable performance on rainy days, steering and cornering response are as good as the OEM tires if not better. People purchasing other size or rating versions of these tires, or running the tires at lower inflation pressures, may see different results.

...I got to drive on these and immediately noticed the improved comfort and the SILENCE! Oh, yeah! ... she said it was like driving on a cloud...
Husband researched, Wife approved!!
The OEM tires on the wife's Volvo XC60 became unbearable with the road noise that progressively developed when the tires had about 50K mikes on them, so I started research on a replacement tire. The Volvo Forums had some XC60 owners post that they were happy with the Bridgestone Dueler H/L 422 Ecopia so I pulled the trigger and ordered from TireRack. Wife was out of town when I had them installed from a TireRack approved shop. I got to drive on these and immediately noticed the improved comfort and the SILENCE! Oh, yeah!! So the wife comes back and takes a 200+ mile trip to visit her parents - and I get a call from her thanking me for the tires (I was fishing!) - she is 100% satisfied but said she was doing easily 20+ MPH over the speed limit because she said it was like "driving on a cloud." I cannot vouch for any MPG savings or longevity as they are new but I will report back at 20K. Thanks Bridgestone & TireRack!

...Definitely this is quite and comfort tire and I recommend for those who live at sunny states...
After putting 20,000 miles I think I can say about these tires.
Definitely this is quite and comfort tire and I recommend for those who live at sunny states. Living at Northeast OH (experiencing last year winter, vortex, and winter storm last weekend), These tires perform terribly under wintry condition. I understand this is not winter tire but at least I expect it performs above average for tires on this price range. I am looking tires that can handle the unexpected situations (snow storm/sleet/down pouring rain) and yet sophisticate enough on dry and sunny condition

...Compared to original Bridgestone 400's, these tire are a big improvement in ride comfort, quality and performance... Expect double the comfort as compared to the original Bridgestone 400's.
2010 RX350 Bumpy Ride Suspension Issues Finally Solved with Bridgstone Ecopia 422's
Compared to original Bridgestone 400's, these tire are a big improvement in ride comfort, quality and performance.
Tire PSI is extremely important on the 2010 RX350 - This is the new SUV's 1st model year - and Lexus did not get the suspension tuning right at all.
(A new 2014 has a much more forgiving suspension, by a mile).
I run at 32 PSI Front and 36 PSI Rear and the car handles nicely - for a FWD
SUV. Still not anywhere close to my old 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee - RWD Only
- maybe that's why I like the higher PSI in the rear tires.)
Also - The Lexus Dealer always sets Tire PSI to 37lbs - since this eliminates
a Lexus known bug (no recall yet) for a low tire pressure warning indicator.
(Funny, when the Lexus engineers originally ran this car on the test track - they ended up stamping 32PSI Front and 32PSI Rear on the inside door jam??
**** 37 PSI on the 2010 RX 350 (FWD) simply does not work with this car.
All you get is a jittery, twitchy and choppy ride.
I am very happy to report, that on my particular 2010 RX 350, withthe 422 Ecopias, and my own PSI settings, the car does handle very nicely.
Expect double the comfort as compared to the original Bridgestone 400's.
I would certainly buy these tires again since they helped ride quality, but also I look forward to some day owing a 2014+ RX350, where the tires don't have so much impact on ride quality.

...Four years and 69k miles later, I still like them. The tread depth is 5/32 after 69k miles, so they lasted past their warranty...
I wish that they still made these tires as I would purchase another set! Four years and 69k miles later, I still like them. The tread depth is 5/32" after 69k miles, so they lasted past their warranty. I would have no issues keeping them on the car in dry weather with 5/32", but I am considering being proactive and replacing them this winter simply since I drive around for work. They have performed well in all conditions: dry, wet and Cleveland snow & ice. They have been quiet and have worn evenly. They are rotated every 4 months, which ranges from 4,000 to 7,500 miles. I could not ask any more from a tire.
