...Here in south Florida when it rains, it pours and i'm not hydroplaning or loosing traction on these tires...
This is a review that i had to write. 2021 Explorer XLT RWD, Just did oil change at 89,660 miles and i still have these tires on the front. I had to replace the rear tires because one got slashed by piece of aluminum debris on roadway last year and I replaced the rears with Goodyear Assurance Weatherready tires because my wife wanted more wet driving traction. These tires on this explorer are match made on earth, i tested the -------- out of them in the rainiest day and in horrible conditions on the badest roads in Florida and there are plenty. I didn't test them on half-asphalt or heavy potholed roads, but they really blew me away in the rain, especially because this Explorer is RWD 2.3L and it's traction control is worse than a 1990 Chevy Corsica; useless. Wife travels a lot between east and west Florida, mostly on highways but most of Florida is like a highway.
On dry, they perform well, I have them on Asanti wheels and after almost 90k miles, they still have 6/32nds of tread left. Here in south Florida when it rains, it pours and i'm not hydroplaning or loosing traction on these tires. I have never had a holes in them and had them balanced twice. The Explorer never had wheel alignment done since it left the dealership. Never rotated the tires either. I'm writing this because i've noticed dry rot on them and figured it's time to replace them with similar tires since these are not available anymore.
I used to buy cheaper tires to save money but now i see that if i buy the better brand, i will definitely get more money back in the long run. I hope Bridgestone sees this review and decides to bring them back. Too bad Tirerack doesn't allow photos to be uploaded so you could see that you can go way beyond the advertised mile mark on these tires.

The Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza Plus delivers confident winter performance, with most customers scoring snow and ice traction between 8-10. High marks highlight reliable grip in winter conditions, aligning well with its all-season capability. A few ratings show occasional lower marks, but overall satisfaction remains strong.

Highly Recommended for ice and snow driving on highways. I like this tire because it handles very well in ice and snow. I live in Denver and drive to the mountains often, so I need a tire that grips well in wet/snowy conditions with relatively steep road grades...
Highly Recommended for ice and snow driving on highways. I like this tire because it handles very well in ice and snow. I live in Denver and drive to the mountains often, so I need a tire that grips well in wet/snowy conditions with relatively steep road grades. I do NOT drive off road, so these tires are only used in HWY/City roads. This is my third set on this car and I can usually get around 35,000 to 38,000 miles out of a set. After 30,000 miles, I do notice less traction in the snow, but still adequate. Just had the vehicle in for tire rotation at 32,000 miles and the tread depth is about 5/32's of an inch on each tire. I do rotate every 5,000 miles or so.

...I understand there might be more specialized tires that might be better in heavy snow and ice, but I haven't needed anything else yet...
Probably the best tires I've ever owned!!! Driven through 3 hurricanes, off-road, light-snow, ice, and lots of highway/city. They were an enormous step up from the OEM Goodyear Fortera tires I previously had, and they still look new. The ride is absolutely phenomenal and have yet to have a traction problem. I understand there might be more specialized tires that might be better in heavy snow and ice, but I haven't needed anything else yet. These are in a league above all the rest!

...Dry traction and cornering is very good...
This is my second set of these tires. Wet traction isn’t as good as it could be. I use winter tires for the season. Dry traction and cornering is very good. Overall good tires. I do wish Bridgestone made a Dueler H/P tire that fit my truck as the set I had on a previous truck were the best tires I’ve ever had.
