The Dueler H/L Alenza Plus is Bridgestone's Crossover/SUV Touring
All-Season light truck tire developed for the drivers of premium
crossovers and sport utility vehicles, as well as light-duty pickups.
Designed to provide elegance with an edge, Dueler H/L Alenza Plus tires
deliver long wear, enhance fuel efficiency and year-round traction, even
in light snow.
Featuring a symmetric tread pattern, the Dueler H/L
Alenza Plus has been ride and noise tuned to enhance comfort. Notched
shoulder blocks and a continuous center rib boost responsiveness and
highway stability, while wide circumferential grooves, lateral notches
and sipes help increase foul weather traction. The tire's internal
structure includes twin steel belts reinforced with spirally wound nylon
(for H-, V- and W-speed rated sizes) to provide support under the tread
area, while polyester cords stabilize the sidewalls and enhance ride
quality.
NOTE: While Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season light truck
tires offer all-season versatility including traction in light snow,
tire sizes featuring extremely wide tread widths may limit the traction
this type of tire can provide in deep snow.

...I live in Denver and drive to the mountains often, so I need a tire that grips well in wet/snowy conditions with relatively steep road grades...
Highly Recommended for ice and snow driving on highways. I like this tire because it handles very well in ice and snow. I live in Denver and drive to the mountains often, so I need a tire that grips well in wet/snowy conditions with relatively steep road grades. I do NOT drive off road, so these tires are only used in HWY/City roads. This is my third set on this car and I can usually get around 35,000 to 38,000 miles out of a set. After 30,000 miles, I do notice less traction in the snow, but still adequate. Just had the vehicle in for tire rotation at 32,000 miles and the tread depth is about 5/32's of an inch on each tire. I do rotate every 5,000 miles or so.

...These tires were extremely quiet on the road, but gave me amazing traction in the rain, sleet and snow. I couldn't be happier!
I bought a used 2012 Ram 1500 and it still had the factory tires on it- but they were pretty worn. I knew that I had a 1700 mile trip to bring the truck home, while pulling my other car on a trailer (5,500# total). During the trip I spent hours at 75mph on the highway and experienced rain, sleet and snow at higher elevations. These tires were extremely quiet on the road, but gave me amazing traction in the rain, sleet and snow. I couldn't be happier!

Only about 500 miles on these so far, so this is pretty much just initial impressions made to date. This is my fourth set of Duelers, third of which were Alenzas and first of the new Plus series. I had Michelin Latitudes on prior to this current set largely because they were on sale for less than the Alenzas last time around and I figured heck, they're Michelins. What could go wrong? Evidently, alot! Never liked them and couldn't wait to switch back to the Bridhestones!
All of that said, these new Alenzas are the new Plus series. The first plus is they now sport an 800 treadwear rating. They are now a "low rolling resistance" design, so my only concern will be wet traction as they wear. We'll see as wet traction is just fine new. Other impressions so far: very smooth ride and very quiet. My last set of Alenzas were good, but not great in the ride and noise department. The trade off was handling over ride with those. That said, these do seem to have traded off a little bit on the handling and steering response for the improved ride, but they are still light years ahead of the forementioned Michelins in balancing ride and drive characteristics without giving up too much on either one. Our Armada is nice to drive again and we could not be happier at this point! Stay tuned for more reviews after we get some real miles on them.

Replacing any worn set of tires it always seems fresh tires are great. Improvements across the board, the true test is down the road. So far so good, especially in the snow.

...Traction is outstanding...
LR3s are notorious for eating tires. These may be the best I have ever experienced on any vehicle. I have no cons on this tire. Usually I pick apart products, yet, this one I cannot. Extremely happy with these and would absolutely buy them again. Tire wear is remarkable. Traction is outstanding. I have had theses in dirt and no cuts, rips, etc... Wears evenly, and quiet. Great tire.

...Very smooth, quiet, and comfortable tires with great grip, handling, and road confidence. These tires needed a few hundred miles to break in, but once they were, I could not believe how well they performed...
Fantastic performing and great looking tire. I purchased a new SUV a few months ago--a 1 year old 2018 Nissan Armada Platinum that came from a rental fleet. Great SUV for sure, but it came with California street tires that I knew would not hold up to a Minnesota winter. After much research, I swapped them out for these Bridgestone Dueler Alenza Plus tires, and I'm so glad I did. Very smooth, quiet, and comfortable tires with great grip, handling, and road confidence. These tires needed a few hundred miles to break in, but once they were, I could not believe how well they performed. Really nice looking too. They don't perform as good a dedicated winter/snow tires on ice and snow, but I was not expecting them to. These Alenza Plus's are designed with a rubber compound for long tread life, quiet ride, and a tread pattern for solid grip and displacement in most conditions. They work really well for me in 95% of the conditions I encounter. If you are on the fence, don't hesitate on these tires. I highly recommend.

...On dry pavement they're a very nice riding and comfortable tire for which I have no complaints.
Great tire except for icy roads. Just proceed with caution and you'll be fine but don't push them or you'll lose grip. On dry pavement they're a very nice riding and comfortable tire for which I have no complaints.

...Especially comfortable in the ride dept, much better than Contis. Noise level is also better...
Went from Continental Eco Contacs to this Bridgestone Alenza Plus. I would give the Continentals a solid 8 the Bridgestones ara a solid 9. Especially comfortable in the ride dept, much better than Contis. Noise level is also better. One area the Contis win is in gas mileage, Contis are hard to beat when gas mileage is an issue. One more thing, I got the 255x65x16s for my Ford Escape/Mercury Mariner, much better handling.

...Super quiet, comfortable, etc. Rough roads are muffled and bumps are absorbed adequately...
Overall a very nice tire. Super quiet, comfortable, etc. Rough roads are muffled and bumps are absorbed adequately. I currently have 15K miles on these tires and it seems like they will last nearly the full 80K. There are some trade offs with these tires since they are highway orientated. Snow traction can be iffy. In mixed slush and ice they are very bad. Id rate them a 3/10 in that regard. Light snow traction is acceptable - however erratic. Sometimes they feel really good but then they will reach the limit and be useless. Id give them a 7/10 for light snow. Deep snow is OK - nothing to write home about. Good highway tire that can handle light snow.

...They do feel like luxury because they are quiet and they handle confidently on the road. At the very beginning, they did have flat spotting issues that would abate after a few miles down the road...
These have been the best tires I've ever owned. I now have almost made it through the 80k mile tread warranty and the tires are still as smooth and silent as when I first purchased them. They do feel like luxury because they are quiet and they handle confidently on the road. At the very beginning, they did have flat spotting issues that would abate after a few miles down the road and they do seem to lose more air pressure due to temperature swings during season change BUT you'll not complain after taking these bad boys on a trip. I'll be replacing these soon because the very middle of the tread has gotten pretty worn but I'll be putting these on both my vehicles here on out, no question. For reference, rotation every 10k miles has worked well for me. Highly recommend these tires! As I've gotten older, it's been a quest of mine now to find something that works and to just stick with it instead of trying something newer or cheaper. These work guys and you and yours will be satisfied!

...After 68,000 miles they are finally nearing their end of tread life. I couldn't be more pleased with these Bridgestones...
Reported on this tire earlier, but wanted to follow up with high mileage comments. I have now put 63,000 miles on this tire with this truck. I actually used these tires on my previous Ram 1500 for 5,000 miles and insisted they swap the tires onto my new truck at purchase. After 68,000 miles they are finally nearing their end of tread life. I couldn't be more pleased with these Bridgestones. I have commuted to work in snow, ice, torrential rains, you name it. They have served me well on a couple of off-road treks with a Boy Scout troop through some pretty swampy terrain as well. Considering the all season tread, they performed admirably. Gas mileage is exceptional, and they remain very quiet even in their worn state of condition. I would not hesitate to recommend this tire to anyone!

I think I should be looking for new tires after 91k miles but these are just not giving up. I replaced the factory tires after 30k miles and wasn't sure that these would actually make it to the 80k miles Bridgestone stated. WOW, they've outlasted even that!...
