Street/Sport Truck Summer run-flat light truck tires provide temporary self-supporting run-flat mobility for a distance of 50 miles at up to 50 mph, even after a puncture has allowed complete air pressure loss. They are designed for drivers who want to combine aggressive low-profile tires with large rim diameter wheels to enhance their vehicle's appearance. Sometimes used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on 2WD and 4WD pickup, crossover and sport utility vehicles, Street/Sport Truck Summer tires are not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.

O.E. Street/Sport Truck Summer run-flat light truck tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle's original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. run-flat tires' performance category and specifications.

NOTE: Run-flat tires are only recommended for vehicles that are originally equipped with self-supporting run-flat tires and equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system.

Though they cannot be labeled as run-flat tires, tires branded with MOExtended or MOE on their sidewalls offer run-flat-like characteristics by delivering limited temporary extended mobility after a puncture results in complete loss of air pressure. Because MOExtended or MOE tires do not have the same speed and distance endurance of conventional run-flat tires, they should not be substituted in any situation where a conventional run-flat tire is required. To confirm what your vehicle needs, check our Original Equipment tire listing for your year, make and model or see your vehicle owner's manual.

Customers Say

Customer feedback data reveals strong dry traction scores (9-10) with consistent praise for responsive handling and cornering stability in summer conditions. Wet traction shows a split pattern, with many 8-10 ratings for confident wet grip and hydroplaning resistance, though some 1-5 scores indicate occasional struggles in heavy rain. Comfort receives mostly 7-10 ratings for ride smoothness, though a cluster of 0-3 scores highlights harshness complaints from drivers prioritizing performance. Treadwear emerges as a key concern, with frequent 0-5 ratings citing rapid wear and disappointing tread life despite the tire's sport-oriented design. Owners using it strictly for summer street driving report the highest satisfaction.

...Driven in the wet, in dry, in ice and in snow and have zero issues in any condition, never felt unsafe or questioning the grip of the tire

First impressions it's a good tire for the price. Could be quieter but not really a complaint since runflats typically are a harder louder tire. Driven in the wet, dry, ice and snow and have zero issues in any condition, never felt unsafe or questioning the grip of the tire

The Dulops might have a little more grip in the dry ( stiffer side walls) not as good as the Bridgestones in the wet however...

The B/Stones RFTs are on a X5 and are a lot better to live with than the OEM Dunlops
The ride quality and noise of these are heaps better than the Dunlops
The turn in is excellent and I believe the steering is more responsive
The Dulops might have a little more grip in the dry ( stiffer side walls) not as good as the Bridgestones in the wet however
I have done 8,000 miles on these an believe they will do about 24,000 ( a little more than the OEMs
The OEM Dunlops lasted 20,000
I would buy these again

12500 miles and counting but I'm very close to needing replacements. These tires perform very well in both wet and dry conditions. Cornering and handling has been great and I've put them to the test on curvy north GA moutain roads. These tires have worn very evenly. I will say that I'm unimpressed with the rate at which these tires have degraded. I would like a 25,000 mile tire and I believe the Continental tire may be my best bet. I won't be buying these Bridgestones again.

Excellent dry traction and handling...

Excellent dry traction and handling; stiff, jarring ride (somewhat expected with run-flat tires); very nice sidewall with a substantial rim protector bead. Even though these are "summer" tires, they did respectably in the occasional SoCal rain. They were original equipment on the car, and I would have considered replacing them with the same tire if not for the price. $265 each? No way. I went with Continental SSR all-season run-flats for about $150 per tire.

These tires are excellent. I have owned several high performance Mercedes and BMW over the years and frankly never thought I would surpass 30k on these tires driving a heavier high performance SUV, but I just ordered tires today and have over 38k on this rear set. I drive like a bat out of --------, and I love the incredible control these tires provide me. They are sleek and look great. May be the only tire I ever purchase for my vehicles. You will not go wrong with these tires. I have owned a number of sets and they have all performed superbly.

...Not as noisy or harsh ride as I worried with run flat's stiffer side wall

selected this tire mainly because they were on clearance. It was more difficult to get it seated due to them being run flat. Tires are performing as good as expected, or maybe better. Not as noisy or harsh ride as I worried with run flat's stiffer side wall

These tires came on the vehichle. I actually took delivery of the X5 in Germany and had NO PROBLEM with these tires handling the Autobaun at 100MPH+. Very stable and comfortable even at those high speeds. At first I thought the road noise ride comfort was great. But I noticed after about 25K-30K miles the noise started to grow, and the road feedback started growing as well . Now driving in San Antonio where the roads are not the best I hate these tires. At the moment I have my winter tires on and driving the I-35 there is a SIGNIFICANT differance in road feedback between the two sets.

Front tires wore out faster than any other tire I had. My wife drives the car and I have another set for winter. Drove on these tires for one and a half summer. Called Bridgestone to complain and was told that these tires don't have milage warranty. Out of luck. Will never purchase this brand again.

...I changed them out and was immediately disturbed by the lack of tread depth on new tires that just cost me over a grand. 10,000 miles later they were shot... The tire carcass is ridiculously rigid to support the run flat spec on a heavy SUV. This makes the ride harsh. Feels like the tires are made of wood. Then on top is a very thin layer of extremely sticky rubber that wears away MUCH too quickly...

These are by far the WORST tires I have ever owned in my 25 years of driving. They were BMW OEM on my X5 M Sport. It came with a tire warranty so I've been through a few sets of this garbage.
The car came with a used set that made the most awful road noise. I wondered if there was something wrong with the vehicle. I changed them out and was immediately disturbed by the lack of tread depth on new tires that just cost me over a grand. 10,000 miles later they were shot. I was not happy. Same with another set. The tire carcass is ridiculously rigid to support the run flat spec on a heavy SUV. This makes the ride harsh. Feels like the tires are made of wood. Then on top is a very thin layer of extremely sticky rubber that wears away MUCH too quickly.
$1000 for 10,000 miles. A buck every 10 miles for tires!!?? No thanks.
I read up on the forums and switched to Conti non-run-flats. Half the price, double the treadwear and better feel. Please dont buy these Bridgestones, even if they were the OEM tire on your car. They are absolute junk.

...Obviously there are trade-offs when getting higher mileage out of a tire (such as rock-hard rubber, poor cornering/stopping distance...), but this is silly to wear out so quickly... expected total life is 17,000 miles - and that is now a tire that should only be used in dry conditions at this wear limit...

Unhappy with these tires due to premature wear. Had a set of these tires on different car (X5) due to fact that there are not many run flat (RFT) options. Considering going non-RFT and just ensuring AAA is available when/if needed like with any normal tire issue. RFT makes tires ride too harsh and expensive. Would be nice if there were a decent RFT tire option that was not $300+/tire (poor past experience with Pirelli won't have me return to their products either).
Obviously there are trade-offs when getting higher mileage out of a tire (such as rock-hard rubber, poor cornering/stopping distance...), but this is silly to wear out so quickly. Regular tire rotations and frequent tire inflation checks (the car checks this automatically too) and still won't get much more than another 2k miles, expected total life is 17,000 miles - and that is now a tire that should only be used in dry conditions at this wear limit. Looking for non-RFT to replace. Another reviewer aptly noted that alignment specs can vary widely, always make sure it is set for extended tire life unless you are a track-rat and don't mind replacing tires every 6 months.
