The PureContact LS is Continental's Grand Touring All-Season tire developed for drivers of family sedans, coupes, minivans and small crossovers looking for responsive handling and sporty steering feel, along with quiet comfort and year-round traction. PureContact LS tires are designed to combine the refined ride of a premium touring tire with an engaging driving experience and confident grip in dry, wet and wintry conditions, including light snow.
Temperature-activated functional polymers in the all-season tread compound of the PureContact LS increase compound bonding and help improve tire wear and fuel efficiency. The asymmetric pattern features stable tread blocks in the shoulders for lateral grip and high-speed handling, and the wide, central rib provides solid on-center feel and confident straight-line tracking. Comfort Ride Technology incorporates an underlay beneath the tread that is designed to isolate the tread from the casing and reduce the amount of perceptible vibration in the cabin. Continental's +Silane additives enhance traction in slippery conditions, and the sweeping grooves combine with deep, circumferential channels to help resist hydroplaning. Siped shoulders and intermediate tread blocks create the biting edges needed for grip in snowy or icy conditions, and traction grooves trap snow in the tread to provide snow-to-snow traction.
The internal construction of the PureContact LS features a single ply, polyester casing. The mid- to high-apex balances responsive handling and performance with ride comfort, while dual steel belts are reinforced by two polyamide overlays to enhance durability and high-speed uniformity.

...Great traction even in heavy downpours. Good driver feedback, No surprises...
Affordable Quality Run Flat tire Made in USA. What else matters? Great traction even in heavy downpours. Good driver feedback, No surprises. Soft compound so count on short shelf life. Same tires are on my wife's A5 with No complaints. Will definitely buy again.

...This tire is surprisingly good in wet conditions. Driving in some not-so-light rain, I felt confident with grip in turns, and cornering. Braking, and acceleration in these wet conditions was also better than I expected from a summer runflat, and I did not experience hydroplaning.
Only 3200 miles so far on these BMW OE factory issued tires, so I will be updating this review at some point. This tire is surprisingly good in wet conditions. Driving in some not-so-light rain, I felt confident with grip in turns, and cornering. Braking, and acceleration in these wet conditions was also better than I expected from a summer runflat, and I did not experience hydroplaning. In dry roads, steering response is very good, and predictable. But I didn't rate it higher in 'cornering stability' because I have not had a chance to push them closer to the limit. Very grippy when hot on clean asphalt, but careful of those dusty/sandy/fine loose gravel on edges of hwy on/off ramps, as these tires broke loose easily in those conditions. It seems they have improved the comfort level of run flat tires. The ride does not seem as harsh as I remember driving other BMWs with runflat tires. However, I could see how some might complain that they are a little noisy. With decent speed on windy roads, I can hear the rubber scrubbing off the tires. Wish I had better roads around here to do more "spirited" driving. But if I did, I would probably wear these tires out faster than they are rated for. But that should be expected from performance summer tires. For now, I am satisfied with the performance of these tires.

...Driven on three continents; they are very faithful, and exceptionally responsive tires on dry surfaces. Only cause of more than normal wear is FM 2222 in Austin in dry conditions between Mopac and FM 360, twice daily, when they support about .8G in a 'spirited drive'...
OEM tires. Very solid performing RFTs which have held up very well over the course of their 6 year life. Swapped with Goodyear F1 A/S non-RFTs for winter seasons since 2016. Driven on three continents; they are very faithful, and exceptionally responsive tires on dry surfaces. Only cause of more than normal wear is FM 2222 in Austin in dry conditions between Mopac and FM 360, twice daily, when they support about .8G in a 'spirited drive'. As they have become more worn, the changes in road surface feel has become more pronounced, but no change in road noise, which is louder than I'd like. I have definitely learned to slow down on damp and wet surfaces on these Bridgestone - you can definitely feel the car float on damp surfaces. These tires actually have been more durable than the original aluminum alloy wheels which have gotten out-of-round thanks to Texas road surfaces which are more suitable for light truck tires.

...Flooring it around a cloverleaf or driving "spiritedly" on a canyon road, these tires grip well and I haven't heard them squeal yet...
These tires were recommended for my vehicle ('17 BMW 430i) and I'll buy them again next time around - they are quiet on the highway, communicate well to the driver via the steering wheel, and seem to keep gripping in the situations I've been in. Flooring it around a cloverleaf or driving "spiritedly" on a canyon road, these tires grip well and I haven't heard them squeal yet. They're not cheap but in this case you get what you pay for, and that seems to be a lot!
