The Turanza Prestige begins with an environmentally conscious all-season compound integrating Bridgestone's PeakLife polymers to create a material base that resists irregular wear. The compound is then molded into the Turanza Prestige's distinctive symmetric tread pattern with a wide, stable center rib designed to keep the uneven vibrations generated by travel to a minimum for a comfortable drive. QuietTrack Technology combines in-groove quiet tracks, optimized pitch sequencing and offset notches to reduce airborne noise for a tranquil driving experience. Wide circumferential grooves and shoulder slots for displacing and evacuating water from the contact patch improves hydroplaning resistance and control in the wet. Interlocking grooves and sipes create biting edges for enhanced snow traction, and the full depth tread pattern is engineered to maintain performance as the tire wears.
The internal construction of the Turanza Prestige utilizes a single-ply, polyester casing supporting two wide, steel belts. A nylon cap ply reinforces the structure for enhanced high-speed durability.
