Grand Touring All-Season tires are for drivers who want a combination of a sophisticated appearance, competent handling and H-speed rated (or higher) durability, along with all-season traction, including in light snow. Grand Touring All-Season tires branded with the M+S symbol are often used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on sophisticated coupes and luxurious performance sedans.
O.E. Grand Touring All-Season tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle's original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. tires' performance category and specifications.
Limited sizes of the ProContact RX are available with Continental's ContiSilent Technology, which involves the manufacturer adhering a layer of sound-absorbing foam to the inner liner of the tire to reduce cabin noise in the vehicle. These sizes are identified on the Specs page and in the search results.

Are EV-Specific Tires Better than Popular Non-EV Tires? – 2024 Test 1 – With Winter Update (29:49)
The EV tire space has a lot of hype and anticipation, but what’s the substance? What do you get by choosing a tire marketed as an EV product? What do you give up? In this round, we have Touring, Performance, All-Season, and Summer tires – in both EV-focused and non-EV-focused applications – making it our most complete test to date, including our 2024 winter test results!
Owners report excellent comfort and low noise levels, with many highlighting a smooth, quiet ride. Treadwear receives praise for longevity in most cases, though some note rapid wear in certain conditions. Winter traction is generally reliable for an all-season tire, though a few mention reduced confidence on ice. Wet grip and hydroplaning resistance earn consistent high marks, with scores often in the 8-10 range. Dry traction stands out as a top strength, with near-perfect ratings for responsive handling and stability. While most appreciate the tire's balanced all-season performance, a minority express concerns about tread durability in harsh weather or high-mileage use.

...Wet traction is good even at 40K mls...
I have 42,000 miles on these tires. Great all around tire and a good fit for my Model 3 Performance. That said, I am not a "track guy" nor do I drive on these tires in the snow or ice, ( I live in Florida). Wet traction is good even at 40K mls.
I will be replacing my rear tires only as they are now just about to the ware indicators. The fronts have plenty of tread left and I will not be replacing them at this time. It is very likely that the fronts will need replacing in another 8-10K mls.
These tires are my number one choice for a number of reasons: price, tread ware, performance, and noise, being positives. Can't really think of any negatives.
Please take note: these tires are of the RX series, so they have the ability to seal a puncture. Not to be confused with run-flat tires. I have first hand experience with the above feature as I picked up a total of 4 screws as I was driving out of Home Depot. These tires not only got me home, (4 mls) but also, held there pressure (41psi) over night. AMAZING !!!!

...Quiet with good traction in wet and dry conditions...
Good tires. Quiet with good traction in wet and dry conditions. Came factory on our Model 3. Noise and roughness had increased a little as aged. Some damage to side wall from curb. Good tore overall.

...The first set was very responsive on dry and wet roads. The new set feels significantly better than the old set, which made it to 3/32 in. Performance and traction are improved...
Just replaced the OEM tires with a second set of the same tires. The first set lasted just over 20,600 miles. I live at about 2000 feet of elevation. As a result, I drive uphill quite a bit. The tires averaged just over 300 kw/hr over the past 3.5 years. The first set was very responsive and quiet on dry and wet roads. The new set feels significantly better than the old set, which made it to 3/32 in. Performance and traction are improved. The foam inside the tire cavity definitely enhances soundproofing in the cabin. Given how quiet the car is, a quiet drive without sacrificing performance was a priority.

Winter traction excels with many customers scoring 9s and 10s in snow and deep snow, offering reliable all-season capability. Ice performance shows strong 7-8 ratings, though a few note variability in extreme conditions. Confident handling in typical winter use.

...We feel confident on the road... have no issues in winter...
This is our second set of these, as our car came with them. We made it just past 40,000 on the first set, but definitely pushed it well past their limit (we were being told they were on the way out before 30k.) So in replacing them, my goal was to find something that would last longer. However, since it's an electric car, options were limited. Speaking with the TireRack rep (which was super helpful) I learned that tires for EVs are made special to be ultra quiet, and that I would likely be sacrificing road noise if I moved away from an EV-specific tire. I wasn't willing to do that. So, ultimately stuck with this one. The only other option was a Goodyear ElectricDrive, but it's so new that I couldn't find any reviews. And we don't have another car, so I wanted to play it safe. All in all, this is a great tire. We feel confident on the road, get good "fuel" efficiency, have no issues in winter, and get a quiet ride. The Tesla Model Y has a really rough ride, so I can't speak to that as a different tire probably wouldn't change this with any significance, but who knows.

Gives better ride than the original All-Weather Contis. Great in snow and cold weather. Good on normal, dry surfaces.

Still a bit early to tell, but the comfort level is great and noise has been reduced significantly over the previous tires. Traction and cornering is excellent. The tire expert said my tread life for this vehicle depends a lot on how your drive (from 30k-50k).

I only had these installed for a day before putting my summers back on, but while I rode with them they were extremely quiet and comfortable compared to the older tires I replaced (Pirelli Zero [snow tires]). The snow tires were horribly loud and obnoxious. I think these all seasons will be a perfect replacement and I may likely drop the 21" perf tires in favor of these. I'll find more out this fall when the temps turn cool and I reinstall them. I'm more interested in longevity, silence and comfort. While they're not as rigid as the Pirelli Zero perf tires, I think they'll be a good match for my new driving style. Btw, to save some rubber, run Chill Mode and toggle Sport as needed.
