Grand Touring All-Season tires are for drivers who want a combination of a sophisticated appearance, competent handling and H-speed rated (or higher) durability, along with all-season traction, including in light snow. Grand Touring All-Season tires branded with the M+S symbol are often used as Original Equipment (O.E.) on sophisticated coupes and luxurious performance sedans.
O.E. Grand Touring All-Season tires are typically purchased as direct replacements for worn-out pairs/sets of the vehicle's original tires. They can also be used for other vehicle applications in complete sets of four or axle pairs if available in an appropriate size, load range and speed rating to match the existing O.E. tires' performance category and specifications.
Limited sizes of the ProContact TX are available with Continental's ContiSilent Technology, which involves the manufacturer adhering a layer of sound-absorbing foam to the inner liner of the tire to reduce cabin noise in the vehicle. These sizes are identified on the Specs page and in the search results.

...These tires perform very well in both dry and wet conditions, providing reliable traction and a smooth ride...
I am very satisfied with the Continental ProContact TX tires on my 2020 Nissan Altima S. These tires perform very well in both dry and wet conditions, providing reliable traction and a smooth ride. While they perform decently in snow, I recommend being cautious when the tread reaches half its life.
On old pavement, the tires produce minimal noise, and they become very quiet on recently paved roads, enhancing the driving experience. These tires are the OEM choice for my car, and I am currently on my second set. Additionally, I have had Continental tires on three of my cars and have never encountered any issues. I plan to stick with this brand for a while.
The only thing I can complain about is the treadwear mileage. Although they are rated up to 65,000 miles, I only got a little past 40,000 miles before noticing decreased wet traction at high speeds (> 65 mph) and needing to change the tires.
Overall, the Continental ProContact TX tires are a great choice, and I highly recommend them.

...I've driven the car at least 5 times in heavy rain and have not had a single problem in wet conditions. It's weird - These things actually seem kind of beastly...
I felt the need to review these tires after seeing so many negative review online. This model came standard / OEM on my wife's Regal TourX. Initially I thought I might force my wife to replace them before even bringing it home but decided not to spend the extra $$$. While we live in a city, the car has mostly been used for road trips during COVID so about 80-90% highway. So far these tires have been excellent. They are quiet, provide a comfortable ride and perform overall very well for Grand Touring tires (I have winter and summer sets for my other car). I've driven the car at least 5 times in heavy rain and have not had a single problem in wet conditions. It's weird - These things actually seem kind of beastly... I don't know if they changed the manufacturing process on these or overall improved quality but they seem significantly better than a lot of the reviews on here. Not quite 10K miles but the tread wear looks good. No experience in snow but I think with the AWD etc. they would be decent enough when driven cautiously. Nothing is going to match winter tires for snow / ice conditions - probably the biggest deficiency for all-weather tires. While these are TPC spec and have "ContiSilent" I'd maybe look at replacing with the PureContact LS (I like Continental), or maybe even the Vredestein QUATRAC Pro - those have great ratings and less expensive. If you're looking to keep OEM / some of the advanced tech on these tires, then my opinion is it is worth it as they seem pretty solid to me.

Great. Even wear. Tight cornering. Quiet. 70,000+ and still crushing. Started experience hydroplaning around 50,000 miles. Otherwise, these have been great.

...The tire is very predicable at the limits... sometimes I get the highway and the tires makes car feel planted at highway speeds keeping up with other vehicles...
This is my second set on the rear wheel of my Smart Electric. Although the car is small it accelerates fast and extremely agile/nimble.. because of its high torque on the and my driving style it eats the rubber quicker.. last set I replaced it with 19k miles. The tire is very predicable at the limits and cut well through light snow! sometimes I get the highway and the tires makes car feel planted at highway speeds keeping up with other vehicles ( and turning heads of the other drivers due the car size !)

...For normal driving in dry and wet conditions on city roads, freeways, smooth roads, lousy roads, and through standing water, they are quite exceptional, for an A/S tire. Handling and braking in all conditions is well above my expectations...
This tire is OE on the 2015 Audi A3. To be honest, I don't like or use all-season tires. My standard procedure, for cars that don't have OE summer tires (the A3 does have that option but they're stupidly sized 19" along with sport package etc.), is to replace OE A/S tires with summer tires the same day I take a new car home or otherwise as soon as possible. If I'm living somewhere that requires cold-weather tires, which is anywhere it gets under 45degreeF regardless of precipitation, I get a wheel+tire combo from Tire Rack. I've done that for over 15 years. Having said all that, I broke with tradition with this car. I do still plan to replace these with better-sized 16" or 17" summer tires and wheels soon. However, for now I'm using these 18" OE A/S tires, and they are surprisingly good. It's the first time in my life I've been anything but disappointed with an A/S tire. For normal driving in dry and wet conditions on city roads, freeways, smooth roads, lousy roads, and through standing water, they are really quite exceptional, for an A/S tire. Handling and braking in all conditions is well above my expectations. They are relatively quiet too. I would never use these on snow or ice. I think I'll keep these awhile longer and see how things go. Not having to plunk down $1100+ to ditch underperforming OE A/S tires the day I buy a new car is kind of nice.

...Traction is impressive and on these the car is stable and responsive, and shows very good resistance to Kansas' strong crosswinds.
Exactly what Continental says they are - smooth and quiet, well suited to the Cadenza. They also handle quite well for a non-sporty tire. Traction is impressive and on these the car is stable and responsive, and shows very good resistance to Kansas' strong crosswinds.

The tire is certainly quiet - especially when new, though after 15,000 miles, they are still quieter than my other set of all season Michelin AS/3. The ride comfort and steering response are ok for a grand touring tire...

But as others have pointed out, the sidewall is very weak. I've had to replace 3 of the 4 tires in the first year of ownership because of sidewall bubbles and a blowout. Granted, the initial damage could have been done by other drivers in the household but this set seems to have too high an occurrence of sidewall problems compared to other tires.

...Quite a comfortable ride and has great gas mileage so far...
I bought this set for the gas mileage, but have gotten more from them than I expected. Quite a comfortable ride and has great gas mileage so far. I went from 20 miles a gal to 29 a gal. That was a huge improvement and very important with the price of gas being so high.

These were OEM tires on a 2021 Q3. They made it 20,000 miles before they were down to 4/32, and technically done. They wore evenly and were rotated every 5,000 miles.
Year 4 of 4 with these tires found them to be increasingly noisy. They also were increasingly rough on most road surfaces. To be fair, they were never found to be out of spec with regards to being out of round or the need for excessive weight.
Prior to radial tires, a bias ply was hard pressed to make 20,000 miles. Unfortunately for Continental, there wasn't much chance that they would be in the running for replacement tires.
So the replacements are Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3. Already much smoother and quieter...a report for a different day.
And yes, they were purchased from TireRack/DiscountTire.
