The PureContact LS is Continental's Grand Touring All-Season tire developed for drivers of family sedans, coupes, minivans and small crossovers looking for responsive handling and sporty steering feel, along with quiet comfort and year-round traction. PureContact LS tires are designed to combine the refined ride of a premium touring tire with an engaging driving experience and confident grip in dry, wet and wintry conditions, including light snow.
Temperature-activated functional polymers in the all-season tread compound of the PureContact LS increase compound bonding and help improve tire wear and fuel efficiency. The asymmetric pattern features stable tread blocks in the shoulders for lateral grip and high-speed handling, and the wide, central rib provides solid on-center feel and confident straight-line tracking. Comfort Ride Technology incorporates an underlay beneath the tread that is designed to isolate the tread from the casing and reduce the amount of perceptible vibration in the cabin. Continental's +Silane additives enhance traction in slippery conditions, and the sweeping grooves combine with deep, circumferential channels to help resist hydroplaning. Siped shoulders and intermediate tread blocks create the biting edges needed for grip in snowy or icy conditions, and traction grooves trap snow in the tread to provide snow-to-snow traction.
The internal construction of the PureContact LS features a single ply, polyester casing. The mid- to high-apex balances responsive handling and performance with ride comfort, while dual steel belts are reinforced by two polyamide overlays to enhance durability and high-speed uniformity.

Customer ratings showcase the Continental PureContact LS as a well-rounded grand touring tire, excelling in comfort with a smooth, quiet ride and strong treadwear scores reflecting long-lasting performance. ...Cornering is true, noise is very low, wet traction and handling is great, just as Rudy had advised me at Tire Rack December 2022...
I purchased 2 sets for both identical cars, I have driven 5000 miles about a thousand miles a month mostly highway. Cornering is true, noise is very low, wet traction and handling is great, just as Rudy had advised me at Tire Rack December 2022. The other vac is mostly I sometimes take to work and the handling is exactly the same, a month after we purchased the tires a commercial staple punctured the side wall and I had the great pleasure of using the road hazard warranty I had to purchase another tire to replace the damaged one, I provided necessary proof of purchase and paperwork from installer uploading it all online, a week later I received the check for $188 minus install, balance. Great roadside hazard warranty. I have been buying tires on TireRack for the past 25 years I would no purchase tires any other way.

I had a set of the original PureContacts continental came out with and comparing the purecontact LS to the originals is almost night and day. The purecontact LS is much quieter compared to its predecessor. I've had these tires on my Touring Accord for a little over 1000 miles and love them. Smooth riding, quiet, and great wet grip. I would highly recommend these to anyone.

...Great wet traction... The car had Michelin tires on it when we bought it used last year. They were not good in the rain as the car would slide easily and accelerating would spin the tires. These tires don't do that...
My wife and I both drive this car. She travels to work 100 miles round trip two days a week. The tires are awesome ! Great wet traction. Quiet and responsive on dry pavement. All around traction is very good along with braking confidence. Really haven't driven in snow as we didn't get much last year here in south east NJ. And when it does snow my wife will work from home and I use my Durango. The car had Michelin tires on it when we bought it used last year. They were not good in the rain as the car would slide easily and accelerating would spin the tires. These tires don't do that. Very grippy . I would buy these again.

...I easily drove through 6 inches of fresh snow with confidence with these tires...
100% satisfied with these tires! I had the Continental ExtremeContact DWS06's on my last Infiniti sedan and enjoyed them. These are a substantial improvement over those tires. Cornering confidence is almost as high as the ExtremeContact's but offers a huge improvement in snow traction. I easily drove through 6 inches of fresh snow with confidence with these tires. Sometimes I'm a spirited driver and I still enjoy these tires for their responsiveness and traction. The tire alignment indicators are also a great feature to ensure that I haven't accidentally misaligned my tires. This feature erases any buyers remorse in my purchase. For someone who doesn't want a dedicated snow tire, but needs tires that are capable in the snow, I recommend these tires.

...I've driven in the rain and snow and noticed a huge improvement...
I bought these tires to replace my Bridgestone Turanza tires that came with my 2015 Toyota Camry. These tires made a WORLD of a difference! My car was riding so rough before I got these tires, every time I hit a bump or pothole it rattled my brain because of how hard it would hit. These new tires are quiet, they ride over bumps so nicely, and I overall just feel so much safer. I've driven in the rain and snow and noticed a huge improvement. I definitely recommend these tires and I'm so glad I bought them, it's like I'm driving a whole new vehicle.

I haven’t put too many miles on the tires yet so we’ll see how they do later on but for now they are pretty good. I wouldn’t say 10/10 but I’d give them a 8.5/10. They’re good in snow and ice so that’s great.

...The tires perform spectacularly. The ride is nice and smooth and traction is great on dry roads...
I recently swapped out the stock 18" Aero wheels on my Tesla Model 3 LR AWD to a set of 19" BBS CI-Rs from TireRack. I also slightly upsized the tires to 245/40/19 to help defend against curb rash and pothole damage. After a ton of research, I decided on a set of these Continental PureContact LS tires mainly because of noise level and wet/dry traction. I live in San Diego, so it's mostly sunny, but it does rain every now and then and when it does, all -------- breaks loose. In the short amount of time I've been using these tires, I've had the chance to drive in both wet and dry conditions. The tires perform spectacularly. The ride is nice and smooth and traction is great on wet and dry roads. My favorite part about the tire is how quiet it is. The stock Michelins have foam in them to reduce road noise, but I would say these perform the same or better without the foam. Because the Model 3 doesn't have a noisy engine, road noise is a lot more noticeable in general, but these keep it to a minimum. It's almost eerie how quiet the ride is. I hear more road noise from cars driving next to me than from my own car. If you've got a Tesla and you're looking for a set of tires that will be quiet and comfortable on daily commutes, I highly recommend these.

6000km on these, a change from OEM tires made before picking up from the dealer. These have great grip on all surfaces so far, makes driving very confident in all conditions so far. A very quiet tire - no need to crank up the sound system! Could not be happier with the decision to upgrade to the Pure Contact LS.

...Dry handling and traction are excellent, though I don't push to the limits, so I don't know where these are compared to other tires...
These tires are nice looking with a conservative shoulder, sidewall and tread appearance. I have not tried them in snow. They seem to be very good in wet conditions, including very wet roads at interstate speeds. Dry handling and traction are excellent, though I don't push to the limits, so I don't know where these are compared to other tires. The downsides; These are noisy, as other reviewers have noted. Coarse textured surfaces produce more pronounced noise than smoother, but noise is always present. Flat spots occur after sitting overnight, worsened by longer duration and lower temperatures. They smooth out after 3 to 5 miles, depending on length of sitting and temperature. (Note that tires are inflated to 36 psi all positions.) Otherwise ride is good, but not superior to other premium A/S tires on my other car.

...Compared to the OEM Michelin MXM4s that were on the car before, these tires are smooth and much quieter. Noise is definitely something you notice in a Tesla...
Only have 1500 miles on these tires so far, but wanted to post a review to help other Tesla owners. I purchased these tires based on other reviews for qualities I was interested in. Compared to the OEM Michelin MXM4s that were on the car before, these tires are smooth and much quieter. Noise is definitely something you notice in a Tesla. Ride comfort , handling, and wet traction are also better then the previous tires. Based on my experience to date, I would definitely buy these tires again. The tires are rated for 75K miles. I doubt I will get there as that is an issue for Teslas, but I will update my review in a few years when I am closer.

Replaced Pirellis that wore out with 38,000 miles with these. Although the Pirellis performed well, they were very noisy and had a relatively short tread life. These Continentals perform equally well, are rated All Season and and have a much better tread live. They also are much quieter. Surprising they also perform well in snow.
