The Ventus S1 noble2 (H452) is Hankook's Ultra High Performance All-Season tire developed for the drivers of sports cars, sporty coupes and performance sedans looking to combine on-road performance with all-season traction in dry wet and wintry conditions. Designed to provide Hankook's ideal Ultra High Performance All-Season balance, the Ventus S1 noble2 blends handling and cornering performance with all-season traction, even in light snow.

Kontrol Technology is a Hankook philosophy, as well as a set of proprietary innovations applied during tire research, development and production to ensure controlled driving experiences. The "K" denotes "kinetic" to reflect that the interaction of the tire with the road lies at the heart of driving control. Kontrol Technology provides a range of benefits across four areas that drivers identify as key when choosing quality tires: performance, safety, comfort and environmental impact.

Ventus S1 noble2 tires use hybrid compound technology silica that combines wet road traction with lower rolling resistance and longer treadlife. This compound is molded into a sophisticated semi-rib asymmetric tread design that features notched outboard shoulders, intermediate and center ribs to deliver responsive handling and stable cornering in dry conditions. Four circumferential grooves and inboard Aqua Hydro Block technology provide efficient wet traction and braking. Carving edge grooves and 3D sipes promote wet road and wintertime traction without abandoning dry road response and handling.

The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by a double layer of spirally wrapped nylon to blend handling, high-speed durability and uniform ride quality. Sidewalls are tuned with high-hardness bead fillers and casing plies that promote handling, steering response and ride uniformity. The tire was developed using 3D vibration analysis technology, which produces an advanced mold profile that delivers uniform contact pressure across the footprint to promote even wear and secure braking performance.

Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S Reviews

Owners report excellent dry traction and confident wet performance, with scores clustering in the 8-10 range for on-road all-terrain use. Winter capabilities earn praise for reliable snow grip, though ice traction shows occasional 7-8 ratings. Ride comfort receives strong marks for smoothness, though some note slightly elevated road noise. Treadwear ratings trend positively (7-10), with multiple users highlighting durability through varied conditions. While most feedback aligns with the tire's rugged all-terrain purpose, a small subset of lower comfort scores suggests occasional tradeoffs for off-pavement capability. High repeat purchase intent underscores satisfaction with its balanced on-road manners and light off-road competence.

...Great wet traction. I mean best Ive ever had, car or truck...

Best light truck tire I've ever owned. Hands down! Shame it was discontinued after i bought them. Only hope the upgraded version is as good for when a need to replace these. Great wet traction. I mean best Ive ever had, car or truck. Also, great fuel economy. Had factory LT tires on before and these are an AT style tire. I did not lose even a half a mile of fuel economy when i installed these. Copper hit a home run.

...Winter grip was great in snow less than 6 for both acceleration and turning. Stopping in mid/light snow was fairly predictable and ice traction was better than most all-season tires I've owned...

Nearly at the end of their usable life at 59k. Treadwear was fantastic. Rotation every oil change, alignment done 2x yearly and pressures checked regularly. They do vary quite a bit in pressure when the weather changes in spring/fall in my experience.
Driving ~50-85 miles a day, mostly highway, occasional trailer towing for work and hauling dirt/rock/mulch in the bed. Light off-roading on occasion.
Winter grip was great in show less than 6" for both acceleration and turning. Stopping in mid/light snow was fairly predictable and ice traction was better than most all-season tires I've owned.
Noisier than stock highway tires but quiet overall, no hum/drone on the highway.
Wet and Dry grip was a solid 9/10 until the last 5k or so as the tread is quickly wearing off. Replacing with the new Cooper Stronghold as these are no longer offered locally, otherwise I'd buy them again.

...Excellent dry traction...

I have been very pleased with my AT3 tires. They are great in the wet/mud. Excellent dry traction. Long-wearing. I have them on a 2002 Tacoma 4WD Crewcab. I have a Porsche with Continental Extreme Contacts and an RX350 with Michelin Cross Climate 3s. I worked for a major tire manufacturer for almost 5 years and have a heavy automotive background. I know a thing or two about tires. If you buy the AT3 for your truck you won't be disappointed.

...Traction is typical Cooper, excellent dry traction and equal adhesion on wet pavement, maybe even a little better. Steering response is positive and predictable...

These tires, (AT3 4S) are an ideal compromise for an all-purpose, light-duty truck used mostly on the road but occasionally pressed into service off-road in mud. Also, being in Massachusetts, they are an excellent tire in snow, aggressive and yet quiet on the road. Traction is typical Cooper, excellent dry traction and equal adhesion on wet pavement, maybe even a little better. Steering response is positive and predictable. Tracking is precise and ride quality is very good. These are an outstanding light truck tire that performs well under all circumstances. Further updates as time passes.

...Wet, dry, winter traction always great. These tires do great in hard braking conditions.

At first the tires were great. I knew these are a bit more aggressive tread compared to most tires for an Escalade. I had a set of Faulken tires very similar that did great the entire life of the tires. I got these tires since the Faulken tires were not available. As these tires wear they have gotten super noisy and chopped tread wear. (Have verified chassis alignment twice since install) I honestly can’t wait for them to wear out so I can replace them.
THE GOOD:
Traction off road while pulling a 30’ camper is great! Wet, dry, winter traction always great. These tires do great in hard braking conditions.

...Very smooth operation with zero shimmy to 80+ MPH, quiet...

It was time to replace the OEM tires due to age, with some tread left but definitely getting "hard" with poor wet traction. The Coopers were on sale and highly rated for all the attributes I was looking for--3-season all weather traction on road without excessive noise. After a year of use, these are all that and more. The tires mounted easily and balanced out with very minimal weight (road force balance). Very smooth operation with zero shimmy to 80+ MPH, quiet, and great dry/wet weather traction. I can't rate for snow performance because I have a set of dedicated studded snows mounted on steelies that go on during the winter months. I think this particular tire is being discontinued by Cooper, which is shame because they are great for what 99% of most folks' driving needs are.

Highly recommend if they're available!
