The Sport Maxx RT (inspired by Racing Technology) is
Dunlop's Max Performance Summer road tire developed for the drivers of
sports cars, sporty coupes and high performance sedans. Dunlop Racing
Technology combines sophisticated tire materials and manufacturing
techniques to enhance road feedback and driving precision. Like all
summer tires, the Sport Maxx RT is not intended to be driven in
near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.
Sport Maxx RT
tires feature adaptive compound technology that uses motorsports derived
polymers to allow its silica-plus tread rubber to adapt to the textures
of the road surface, maximizing road contact and increasing grip. This
compound is molded into an asymmetric design that features large
outboard shoulder blocks tied to a notched intermediate rib that
enhances dry road responsiveness and cornering control. A continuous
center rib and notched inboard intermediate and shoulder ribs are
separated by wide circumferential grooves to resist hydroplaning and
enhance wet traction. Dunlop Multi-Radius-Tread Technology distributes
footprint pressure effectively across the tire and allows the footprint
shape to change more smoothly as it moves from a straight to a curve,
leading to better control and more precise driving.
The tire's
internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by Dunlop's
JointLess Band (JLB) spirally wound cord to provide high-speed
durability and enhance ride uniformity.
Limited sizes of the Sport Maxx RT are available with Dunlop's Noise Shield Technology, which involves the manufacturer adhering a layer of sound-absorbing foam to the inner liner of the tire to reduce cabin noise in the vehicle. These sizes are identified on the Specs page and in the search results.

i been on wet roads and in snow conditions this tire has performed as advertised...
i spent about a year researching tires and for a all terrain the copper was the best fit for me i mainly use it on the high way and around town with some light off roading i could not be happier. i been on wet roads and in snow conditions this tire has performed as advertised . there is very little road noise the ride is smooth the handling feels tight in control. I'm running a 275/65/20 .on 38 psi getting getting good wear on them.
...Balanced easily, they are great on the highway in the dry and wet...
Wanted to upgrade from stock HTs. These came E rated in 33” and they fit perfectly. Balanced easily, they are great on the highway in the dry and wet. Work shockingly well in the snow and ice. Very strong sidewall but not over stiff. Great on rocks, ok on sand. I bought 5 and do the 5 tire rotation every 5000 miles. After 15k miles they still look new. Tirerack also had a great price on these, unfortunately they were on closeout so I’ll have to pick something else come replacement time.

A little noisy at low speeds but expected with this tread pattern. Excellent traction in wet/snowy conditions. Experience with Tire Rack ordering/delivery is great as usual, satisfied customer!

...Dry and off road is great.
I just checked my mileage on this set of tires that I purchased in February 2020. I can't believe it but I'm at 65,000 on them and still have plenty of life left. These are on my Toyota Tacoma. I have my alignment locked in place w/ tabs (aside from toe) and I do rotate tires (Back to Front, Front Crossed to Back) each oil change and I do 8-9k mile interval changes. These tires continue to impress. If they ever wear out I'm getting them again. Relatively light compared to others in it's category too. Wet performance is good. No problems in snow. Dry and off road is great.

...Wanting something that was highway quite with out the hum. This did the trick...
I overly researched, looking for a good deal. Wanting something that was highway quite with out the hum. This did the trick, but yet look aggressive. I replaced 265 70 17 . SO far so good I lost about 1.5 miles per gallon

I love the tires, so far. They are a tad bit bumpy. Otherwise, they've been great tires. I've only had them for 2.5 weeks worth of riding time put on them. Put tires on 12.22.25.

...I rotate my tires every other oil change and they are wearing great. They look great as well with the aggressive tread that extends to the shoulders of the sidewall...
Originally wanted Falcon Wild Peak’s but they were a bit more than I wanted to spend and these coopers were on closeout so I figured I’d give them a shot. The gamble paid off. These ties are great both on and off road (we use them off road very frequently). I rotate my tires every other oil change and they are wearing great. They look great as well with the aggressive tread that extends to the shoulders of the sidewall. I’d definitely purchase these again

...With regular rotations, these ties wear very well. no cupping or chopping. Currently have 43k miles on this set and easily have a rotation or 2 left...
All miles are 90% highway and 10% blacktop roads. I typically drive 700miles a week. With regular rotations, these ties wear very well. no cupping or chopping. I have balanced the set once after the 3rd rotation im on the 4th and there isa slight vibration over 80mph. needs another balance. Rotated every 10k. Currently have 43k miles on this set and easily have a rotation or 2 left. not quite to the second wear bar. tire pressure is all set @ 55lbs. Tires are quiet. Hydroplaning got worse as the tires wear, but acceptable if you know the conditions.
