The Sport Maxx RT (inspired by Racing Technology) is
Dunlop's Max Performance Summer road tire developed for the drivers of
sports cars, sporty coupes and high performance sedans. Dunlop Racing
Technology combines sophisticated tire materials and manufacturing
techniques to enhance road feedback and driving precision. Like all
summer tires, the Sport Maxx RT is not intended to be driven in
near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.
Sport Maxx RT
tires feature adaptive compound technology that uses motorsports derived
polymers to allow its silica-plus tread rubber to adapt to the textures
of the road surface, maximizing road contact and increasing grip. This
compound is molded into an asymmetric design that features large
outboard shoulder blocks tied to a notched intermediate rib that
enhances dry road responsiveness and cornering control. A continuous
center rib and notched inboard intermediate and shoulder ribs are
separated by wide circumferential grooves to resist hydroplaning and
enhance wet traction. Dunlop Multi-Radius-Tread Technology distributes
footprint pressure effectively across the tire and allows the footprint
shape to change more smoothly as it moves from a straight to a curve,
leading to better control and more precise driving.
The tire's
internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by Dunlop's
JointLess Band (JLB) spirally wound cord to provide high-speed
durability and enhance ride uniformity.
Limited sizes of the Sport Maxx RT are available with Dunlop's Noise Shield Technology, which involves the manufacturer adhering a layer of sound-absorbing foam to the inner liner of the tire to reduce cabin noise in the vehicle. Sales, customer service, staff was great too. All questions were addressed, advice was solid. A problem with the order was fixed and handled professionally and discounts honored. One small issue was that I thought there was supposed to be an additional post purchase “mail-in” rebate which didn’t happen in the end, though it’s possible this was a misunderstanding on my part.
The local tire shop here in Brooklyn was perfect. Received the tires, were ready for me, charged a reasonable price, installed air pressure sensors at a reasonable price, did a wheel alignment at a reasonable price, and all in a short time. I usually buy OEM tires. However, I did some research on these Cooper Endeavor Plus tires on Tirerack.com and I could not refuse the cost savings of 50%. I do mostly in-town driving but we do take the freeway on occasion. I live in the Midwest and deal with four seasons. These are excellent performing tires on all surfaces, very quiet and an incredible ride. I would highly recommend them for your vehicle.

I specifically wanted an American tire and have been pleasantly surprised on the quality, stability and low road noise of the Endeavor on my 2018 AWD CRV. I almost didn't buy them because the price seemed to low but, in my opinion, tires costing a lot more would not have performed any better for my driving.
