Wet traction scores are concerning, with many ratings between 0-5. Customers report sliding, floating on wet roads, and hydroplaning tendencies. While a few 9-10s exist, widespread dissatisfaction highlights mediocre wet performance for an all-season tire.

...Wet traction is awful, this is a heavy and powerful car and these things have very poor lateral grip. Dry traction is fine and cornering on dry pavement is good, but that means nothing considering that even a bald tire will perform ok in dry conditions...
These came standard on my 2014 Q50S Hybrid AWD. I've had many years of experience with Nissan and Infiniti products, and they have started using Dunlop in recent years, but they always put awful tires on any type of "sports" sedan. So far, I have 26,000 miles on them and I'm probably going to be replacing once they hit 30k just because the snow/wet traction is not there once you hit about 10,000 miles. Luckily I got the Road Hazard protection on my car because I've had two flats and had to replace two of them already (I suspect a small leak in one of them at the moment, so that would make three). They are noisy, harsh, and very stiff. Wet traction is awful, this is a heavy and powerful car and these things have very poor lateral grip. Dry traction is fine and cornering on dry pavement is good, but that means nothing considering that even a bald tire will perform ok in dry conditions. Snow traction isn't terrible but for the price of this tire, you could get a Conti DWS Extreme Contact for half the price that would absolutely blow this tire away in all seasons...and when I get rid of these, those are what I am getting. Very disappointed that Infiniti would allow this garbage on one of their products. Stay Away.

...Driving in the dry was OK, but on I-78 in the rain I almost thought I was driving on ice down the highway...
I was always under the impression that these tires were "OK", but I have since realized there are much better options. Driving in the dry was OK, but on I-78 in the rain I almost thought I was driving on ice down the highway. I didn't have to drive in the snow far, but I recall these having trouble around my hilly street even with my vehicle's AWD system. Impacts are handled pretty harshly and they really didn't help a sport suspension in having a compliant ride. 30,000 miles and was at about 3/32 which would not be suitable for NJ winters, so I swapped to DWS 06 and I won't be looking back at getting run-flats, especially these, again.

Winter traction receives poor scores (0-5), with customers reporting slippery performance in snow/ice, loss of traction, and unstable handling. Deep snow traction also disappoints.

...Traction in rain is terrible, do not even attempt to drive in the snow or ice or you will end up in the body shop...
This is the worst tire I have ever driven on. Infiniti should be ashamed for screwing over us car buyers. This tire has been used about 1 year, but only about 8,000 miles because I used winter tires for 5 months. They are already down to 5/32. Traction in rain is terrible, do not even attempt to drive in the snow or ice or you will end up in the body shop. The replacement cost of these crap tires is insane, almost $350/ea, at minimum! Do NOT buy these tires!

...Mediocre traction dry, poor traction wet, no traction snow/ice...
Absolutely awful tires. Mediocre traction dry, poor traction wet, no traction snow/ice. I regularly experience vibrations--like snow is packed in the rims--for the first couple miles if the car has sat for more than a few hours. I thought the Goodyear RS/As that came with my previous Infiniti were bad. Having experienced these, I'm finding myself rethinking the definition of "bad." I haven't had the pleasure of exercising the "run-flat" feature, but being stuck waiting for roadside assistance would be a pleasure compared to suffering these tires one mile more. I'm replacing with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S and just stuffing these back on for the lease return.

Dry traction shows unacceptable inconsistency, with scores from 0-10. While a few rate 9-10, many report poor grip and stability (scores 3-6). Disappointing for an Ultra High Performance All-Season tire.

Not the worst OE tires I've come across, at least in the dry. They have been relatively quiet and stable at speed on smooth roads. That said, traction could be better, they are prone to breaking loose relatively easily under heavy acceleration. They also have a tendency to trammel a bit on less than perfect roads at highway speeds. I attributed their initial hard ride to being run flats, but they seemed to settle in somewhat to the point where the ride has improved under most driving conditions.
Wet performance is frightening, you really have to dial it way back or else you're going to be sideways. Haven't run them in the snow yet, I can only imagine what a treat that will be. I can't imagine anyone buying these as replacements, especially at this price point.

...These tires lacked overall grip in the dry and were absolutely useless in the rain. Traction and ABS would kick in unexpectedly during heavy traction events like quick accelerating and hard braking...
The Dunlop run flats were the OEM tires on the 2014 Q50s Hybrid. After living with the car beyond the test drive, i started to notice the true identity of these tires.
1) These tires lacked overall grip in the dry and were absolutely useless in the rain. Traction and ABS would kick in unexpectedly during heavy traction events like quick accelerating and hard braking. Although hydroplaning was masked by the DAS (electric steering), you could feel the car wandering through the chassis in light puddles at 40mph.
2) Durability is almost non existent. The thread wears fast and repeated interactions with harsh road joints or transitions lead to unexpected future blowouts. In my many years of driving i've never had tires suddenly go flat while driving. Please note, I also have cars that handle the same route with thinner sidewalls. (NYC roads)
3) These tires also ride very harsh and are noisy. My 95 Volvo on Continental DWS tires ride much better at highway speeds.
To summarize this tire does NOTHING well. You can drive on it when it goes flat, but since it goes flat so easily, that is not a high point. Save your money and avoid!! If you want grippy, durable or ride improving tires look else where.

...Ride was always loud and felt like the car was slipping on dry roads...
So disappointed in my infiniti. My past 2 leaves with infiniti, well I did not have to change any tires from.beginning to end. With these tires, I replaced one this may due to the sidewall blowing out, and now its October and the other 3 are worn down and eont pass inspection. No way I'm paying $2000 for these tires. Ride was always loud and felt like the car was slipping on dry roads. Stay away.

Comfort ratings show widespread dissatisfaction, with many scores between 0-5. Customers report a harsh ride, excessive noise, and an uncomfortable driving experience despite some 7-10 scores. Frequent complaints highlight jarring bumps and loud road noise, falling short of Ultra High Performance All-Season expectations.

Tires came OEM with the Infiniti Q50S.
Cannot convey how hard these tires are. Comfort almost non exhistant giving harshest ride I have ever experienced.
My third Infiniti but first with run flats and cannot wait until the Dunlop's have to be replaced with non run flat tires.
Wonderful vehicle, but these tires and run flat capability really diminish joy of ownership.
To top it all off, the Infiniti came with run flats, but with a full tire jack and spare!

...too noisy, minimal comfort, it just destroys the experience of driving...
Guys, I am sorry but I will only be able to write the truth. This is a piece of ---- tire that should never even be installed on factory fit from the company. Way too noisy, minimal comfort, it just destroys the experience of driving. Well, even for sportiveness, its not as responsive as one would think while accelerating. Does not provides any grip in little snow either. A punture in the tire is difficult to patch, and no local companies were willing to do it, so I ended up getting rid of them at 31K miles and getting the top rated Pirelli Cinturato P7 all-season plus. I will never buy the Dunlop Sport 5000 DSST CTT Run flat ever again. Well I am lazy too, but this time I had to write a review for this scum of the tires.

...Very harsh ride, and poor traction in all condtitions as compared to similar sport tires I driven with...
Best part of this tire is good hydro-planing resistance, even at low tread level, but that is about the only good aspect I see. Very harsh ride, and poor traction in all condtitions as compared to similar sport tires I driven with. Way high price for a poorly engineered tire. Maybe they would get better traction on a hot race track? I see now reason for any regular highway and common raod driver to buy these, there are much better options for half the price.

Treadwear scores between 0-5 dominate, with many reporting premature wear and disappointed in tread life. While some gave 7-10, most noted rapid wear, excessive wear, or needing replacement early despite being an all-season tire.

...incredible wear rate ( down to 7/32 at 10k miles)... The only saving grace of these is they'll wear out quickly...
It really is amazing how awful these tires truly are... if I was trying to make them somehow worse I'm not sure what I would do. Besides the harshness, noise, incredible wear rate (down to 7/32 at 10k miles), horrendous traction, and PRICE, the worst part of the tires is their ability to redirect your car along road imperfections. It feels as if there's some auto pilot trying to take over the car if the lane has any wear or grooves in it. Any kind of snow/slush/ice is just immediately dangerous. These manage to negate any AWD capabilities of the car. I cannot fathom how these tires are available for purchase, and pity anyone else who ends up stuck with them as their vehicle's original tires. Infiniti needs to wake up and realize the damage these tires do to their brand. The only saving grace of these is they'll wear out quickly so you can come back to this site and get some real tires. I cannot wait to get some Continental DWS 06's as replacements.
