Customers overwhelmingly praise dry traction with most scoring 9s and 10s, highlighting responsive handling and confident grip. While a few lower ratings exist, the majority celebrate precise cornering and stability, excelling as a Max Performance Summer tire should in dry conditions.

...Excellent grip in both dry and wet. Stick very well in turns, accelerating and braking...
I would normally wait to leave a review until i have more mile but since there are so few reviews i figured i would leave. I'm experienced with tires having pilot sports, potenza re050, etc. I find these tires to be very good. Excellent grip in both dry and wet. Stick very well in turns, accelerating and braking. Comfort on a runflat will never be as comfortable as a non-runflat however i think these are very good considering even with low profile (245/40/19 275/35/19). Cannot yet comment on wear, hydroplaning or bubbles in sidewall since i haven't had long enough yet. will update when more miles acquired.

...The noise is manageable, the cornering is good and the treadwear is as expected for hard runflats( 10-15,000 miles)...
These are one of the multiple OE offered for the BMW 550i, I have an M-package with 19" wheels, suffered bubbles on the side walls on 3 of 6 tires(front and rear) I have purchased, the only reason I replaced the original 4 with the same was the availability at the local BMW dealer. No more Dunlop, fewer problems! The streets down here in Puerto Rico are not good at all but still, spirited driving does not mean reckless driving and these tires do not fare well with potholes. The noise is manageable, the cornering is good and the treadwear is as expected for hard runflats(10-15,000 miles), but the bubble defects are all too common to endure these again.

While some customers rate wet traction highly with 9s and 10s, numerous scores between 0-5 highlight concerning issues. Reports mention slippery handling, a tendency to hydroplane, and tires feeling floaty on wet roads-disappointing for a summer tire where wet performance is critical.

These came as original equipment and would not be a reasonable choice for a vehicle which sees 4 deasons as does mine. Wet traction was marginal and of course snow traction was nonexistent. Road noise was appreciable, but one of the worst faults was the ultrarapid wear and once marginally worn, they chased every imperfection in the pavement. Super scary! My wife refused to drive it. Her Infiniti M37X is a little squirrely, but the X5 was just plain spooky with the Dunlop run flats. I ditched them at 8K miles and swapped in a set of Continental DWS and am happy. They actually grip on a non summer day. Yes, I had the alignment checked at the dealer and at a custom shop. The tires are freaky when partially worn.

Having these as OEM with my MY11 BMW 535i. All in all they're OK on dry nice road, but are of total nightmare on wet or on less-than-ideal road surfaces such as uneven pavement. During fast cornering (just fast, not on-the-limit fast), car would loss ALL grip and drift sideway upon encountering irregularities, such as small bumps or metallic manhole covers). Avoid them at all cost.

...They drive in dry conditions city and highway, but tread not good in wet weather or near in the first fall of snow.
The tire wears too fast. I will not purchase again. They drive okay in dry conditions city and highway, but tread not good in wet weather or near the first fall of snow.
Also: Have a friend in our BMW club that switched to non run flats and changed the brand with the same vehicle, and their gas consumption changed about 3% savings. That is a plus for me. I am ready for a smoother ride and less noise.

Comfort ratings reveal frequent dissatisfaction, with many scores between 0-6 citing harsh ride, unbearable road noise, and poor ride quality. While some rate 7-10, low comfort and jarring experience dominate feedback for this Max Performance Summer tire.

...These tires are fantastic for a run-flat. But compared to other sport tires, I just can't give them more than a 7...
This tire performs quite well in all summer conditions. When brand new, they are fantastic in wet conditions and a very quiet on the highway. But since they wear incredibly fast, the wet weather performance starts to drop off. My ratings are based on the overall experience, not just the brand new performance (which would be mostly 9s and 10s)
Part of the wear issue is due to my car's design. I can't rotate tires front to rear (245s on the front 275's on the rear) and BMW puts more camber in the geometry than some other brands. The net result is the inner edges of the tires wear quickly and in the case of these tires, the wear became cupping which made for a lot of noise at highway speeds. The rest of the tire wear was even across the width of the tire, but still faster than I hoped for. The tread life rating of 240 worked out to about 16,000 miles in my case.
A quick note on ride comfort: These tires are fantastic for a run-flat. But compared to other sport tires, I just can't give them more than a 7.
My performance comments go something like this: The rear grip was adequate for every situation I found myself in. Under-steer is the enemy of performance on most production cars, and it is huge in my car/tire combination. There is very little warning as you start to break free and then she just wants to go straight. Will a different tire correct the under-steer? Probably not. But I'm hoping a different tire will give a better feel as I reach the traction limit.
For my next set I'm considering Pilot Super Sport, ExtremeContact DW, and possibly the Pilot A/S Gen 3.

...It's nice on dry conditions, if a little rough. I wouldn't say the noise is overwhelming, but it's not a comfortable ride by any means.
Kind of disappointing that this is the OEM tire on a $75,000 car. It's nice on dry conditions, if a little rough. I wouldn't say the noise is overwhelming, but it's not a comfortable ride by any means.
In wet conditions, these are pretty useless. For example, anytime I come out of a carwash, I can expect to slide around under normal acceleration until they dry out.

Many customers report disappointed in tread life, with scores between 0-5 indicating rapid wear and premature replacement. While some rate 7-10, frequent mentions of worn-down tread and less-than-expected mileage raise concerns.
