General  AltiMAX 365 AW

Had these tires for a while and for the price and quality i am very pleased. Handling, minimal road noise and wet traction control is great!!! Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a good balance/budget friendly tire. Have rotated and balance every oil change (6k) still have plenty of tread and love them!

Just got theses the other days. Drove through a rain storm didn't even loose traction once. My old uniroyles that cam on the car when I bought it would pull to one side when u hit a puddle. Theses generals went straight through it no problem at all. Love theses tires so far will update when we get snow here in Nebraska.

Really great tire. Wet traction is excellent. Originally thought the tires were a little stiff when going over bumps, but now I think they are doing wonderful on the city streets and highways. I am very impressed with this tire. I would highly recommend them for drivers that want a great wet traction and safe tire.

Excellent traction, especially on snow and ice.

Outstanding handling and quietness for an all season, mountain snowflake rated tire. I am very picky about the tires I put on my M235i, which I call my little go-kart, due to its superior handling characteristics. The tires, at the still like new stage, are outstanding in every respect concerning snow traction. I wanted something that would have a longer lifespan for winter use than a dedicated winter tire but live up to the snow traction ability.

This rating is not so much about this set of General Altimax 365AW's because of only 2,000 miles on them on my son and his family's car. But, it is a cumulative rating as this is the 5th set purchased and on various vehicles in our expanded family. Most of us live in the Adirondacks of upstate NY and drive over all types of roads and weather. The other vehicle is in South Carolina where the roads (mostly) and weather is not so extreme, but the highway miles add up quickly. The best aspect of this tire is it's ability to work well in everything.They perform well, as expected, in good conditions but what sets them apart is their ability to handle snow, ice, rain and extreme temperatures without worry. They are truly the first tires we have found that can truly provide a safe and reliable experience every time you drive on them. We cannot say enough good things about this tire. We are collectively and completely satisfied with them.

Great tires! I didn’t expect these to handle so well on dry pavement. They give the vehicle a sporty feel and steering feels much more direct. These Generals give a lot of confidence in the rain too. Haven’t had them in the snow or ice yet, but they should do well with the amount of siping. I also have been getting about 0.5 mpg better than the factory tire (Michelin Energy Savor). Only complaint is the constant hum on the freeway, especially over 70mph. It’s not loud, but noisier than the previous tire. Won’t keep me from purchasing again!

I'm on my second set of these! I purchased these because I live in an area that gets snow about 3-4 months out of the year, but can't afford to keep a second set of wheels. These are perfect for that application and they are amazing in both light and deep snow; I can crawl out of anything and it just feels like I'm driving on slightly wet pavement when I'm on snow. I've also found that they are sticky like a racecar tire in both wet and dry conditions and put the power to the pavement way better than any other tire I've used. I'm occasionally a "spirited" driver and like to take off fast for fun and these tires make it even more fun. For a 3-peak snow-rated tire, they are also very quiet and have a very comfortable ride, like any other touring tire. The only downfalls are that gas mileage on the highway has definitely gone down a bit, and the treadlife isn't great, but it isn't terrible either. I think I got about 49,000 miles out of the last set and bought them again because I like them so much.

I had these tires installed the day we had a small snow storm. I was able to get into my driveway no problem. I didn't spin at all. With the depth of the tread I expected a bit of noise at high speeds but they are very quiet. They also create a very comfortable ride.

Cannot compare to Vredestein Quatrac Pro but more comfortable and quieter than Nokian Compass. Tread wear is satisfactory.

Great Tires!
This is my [4th] set of General tires on three different vehicles ... Second set on my Minivan.
Sticks like glue when the vehicle is properly aligned, in the summer heat.
I feel very confident on rainy surfaces (Not Deep Waters ... Cars, not a Boat).
Cuts through the Atlanta snow with ease (Not much snow here!)
Love their "AA" Temperature Rating, and Superior Treadwear Ratings (Last a long time).
Why buy somebody else's used tires (Their garbage)?
For a few dollars more, you get a [2] year road hazard warranty (free) and the confidence of knowing that you have a good, safe tire/s.
Don't forget to rotate your tires, and go somewhere that gives a free alignment check.
Then they will last a good long time.

The tires are a very good tire smooth riding and great handling they are wearing like iron very little wear at all but when u hit a very smooth road u can hear a slight humming noise coming from them but nothing bad would definitely recommend buying a set

This is my third set of these on two cars, about 90,000 miles total. I’m very pleased with them— decent snow traction without a lot of noise on dry pavement, stable in corners and good tread life.
