The BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3–AKA the "BFG KO3"—is the 3rd generation of BFGoodrich's legendary Off-Road All-Terrain light truck tire engineered for the on and off-road tire needs of dedicated off-roaders like Jeeps, pickup trucks and 4x4 sport utility vehicles. It's built for drivers who want rugged confidence and control no matter where their journey takes them. Following up the wildly-successful All-Terrain T/A KO2, the KO3 has been carefully designed to retain the aggressive (and classic) visual elements of BFGoodrich all terrain tires, while delivering outstanding durability, improved wear-life and traction in all weather conditions—even light snow.

Available in LT fitments, load ranges, and sizes beyond 35 inches, the KO3 features a reformulated cut, chip, and tear-resistant tread compound for greater longevity and durability. Molded into a symmetric footprint designed with a generous amount of void for off-road use, while also optimizing the footprint for more even stress distribution and uniform wear. The interlocking tread blocks are designed to work in concert with one another for stability both on and off the pavement. Broad channels at the shoulders and plenty of void space to redistribute water help maintain control in the wet. The 3-D Locking Sipes are full depth and alongside the Snow/Mud notches, are designed to help drivers find the traction they need in any environment.

The upper shoulder and sidewall feature CoreGuard Technology: a bruise- and split-resistant rubber compound that extends further down the sidewall to protect more of the tire in demanding scenarios. Alternating Shoulder Scoops deliver clawing force for control and traction in sand, dirt, or grueling off-road rock driving during "aired down" adventures, while the Mud Phobic bars keep the tire clear of built-up material so it can perform as intended. And as always, the KO3 is available with raised white sidewall lettering—perfect for making your tires and wheels pop, complementing your truck's paint, or making your classic 4x4 look the part.

Internal construction of the All-Terrain T/A KO3 utilizes a durable, triple-ply polyester casing designed for strength and reliability, along with twin, high-strength steel belts providing a robust foundation for the nylon cap ply offering high-speed capability.

NOTE: BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 tires meet the industry's severe snow service requirements and are branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.

...Wet pavement is good too...

Tires look great, dont kill my mileage, much quieter than BFG KO's, handle great on roads, dirt, general mud and snow. Wet pavement is good too. The one negative I have is the sidewall's are a bit too soft and I wish they were a little more rigid. This is the only thing that would make me consider another brand. If General fixed this issue, it would be the only tire I'd buy.

...These tires were much superior to the Wrangler's as I noticed better grip and control off-road and better handling in snow and on muddy bush roads...

Replaced Goodyear Wrangler Adventure series tires as they had aged out. These tires were much superior to the Wrangler’s as I noticed better grip and control off-road and better handling in snow and on muddy bush roads. I also pull a North Country 24 RKS trailer with no issues. I use my truck for hunting as well and have no trouble on muddy tracks and trails as long as I am smart about my limits. I run mine at 55 lbs all the time and find no reason to up the pressure even when loaded. I have about 25K on these now over 3 years of driving in city/ highway and off-road and have plenty of tread left. I will replace with the same again in 3years probably.

2nd set of Grabbers. Lower road noise than Wildpeaks.
Best traction in my experience than Wildpeaks / Toyo AT3 / Nitto Crossmax. I experienced chunking on AT3s. Side wall cracking on AT3/Wildpeaks/Crossmax. On my second set of Grabbers and they’ve been bulletproof.

I was very happy with the tires and their off-road performance as well as day to day driving smoothness.

I had a set of these tires on a 1989 Trooper, that had BFG All Terrains on it prior. I was very happy with the tires and their off-road performance as well as day to day driving smoothness. I put about 35k miles before I sold the truck. A few years later I found these in the size for my CR-V, and while it isn't an off-road machine, it does get used on some dirt/sand roads and sees some snow. I got almost 54k miles on these tires on my Honda. Overall they were great - BUT - after about 40k they started to get pretty loud, and the gas mileage was hit by about 1-1/2 mpg on the highway. I replaced them with the General Altimax RT-43 tires, which will need to be replaced this summer. I'm looking at these A/TX again, as I am driving a bit less and have a lot of dirt and gravel roads in my new locale (as well as winter snow). Overall, a great tire at a reasonable price.

...And they wear a very long time...

I have purchased these tires several times because they outperform and I can rely on the way they handle in all conditions. We have 3 jeeps and one of the Jeeps had The most aggressive tire Les Schwab had for this vehicle, and the rubber was sub par, the handling of the vehicle was subpar, it did not have the same confidence in hugging the road that these General AT Grabbers have. We put the Grabbers on this jeep too and we could really tell the difference, weird, it even drifted less, handled lots better. Trust all my vehicles because of these tires. And they wear a very long time. Recommend highly. In fact, purchasing again today for one of my Jeeps.
