The BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3–AKA the "BFG KO3"—is the 3rd generation of BFGoodrich's legendary Off-Road All-Terrain light truck tire engineered for the on and off-road tire needs of dedicated off-roaders like Jeeps, pickup trucks and 4x4 sport utility vehicles. It's built for drivers who want rugged confidence and control no matter where their journey takes them. Following up the wildly-successful All-Terrain T/A KO2, the KO3 has been carefully designed to retain the aggressive (and classic) visual elements of BFGoodrich all terrain tires, while delivering outstanding durability, improved wear-life and traction in all weather conditions—even light snow.
Available in LT fitments, load ranges, and sizes beyond 35 inches, the KO3 features a reformulated cut, chip, and tear-resistant tread compound for greater longevity and durability. Molded into a symmetric footprint designed with a generous amount of void for off-road use, while also optimizing the footprint for more even stress distribution and uniform wear. The interlocking tread blocks are designed to work in concert with one another for stability both on and off the pavement. Broad channels at the shoulders and plenty of void space to redistribute water help maintain control in the wet. The 3-D Locking Sipes are full depth and alongside the Snow/Mud notches, are designed to help drivers find the traction they need in any environment.
The upper shoulder and sidewall feature CoreGuard Technology: a bruise- and split-resistant rubber compound that extends further down the sidewall to protect more of the tire in demanding scenarios. Alternating Shoulder Scoops deliver clawing force for control and traction in sand, dirt, or grueling off-road rock driving during "aired down" adventures, while the Mud Phobic bars keep the tire clear of built-up material so it can perform as intended. And as always, the KO3 is available with raised white sidewall lettering—perfect for making your tires and wheels pop, complementing your truck's paint, or making your classic 4x4 look the part.
Internal construction of the All-Terrain T/A KO3 utilizes a durable, triple-ply polyester casing designed for strength and reliability, along with twin, high-strength steel belts providing a robust foundation for the nylon cap ply offering high-speed capability.
NOTE: BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 tires meet the industry's severe snow service requirements and are branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.

...Wet traction is as good or better than any other 35 inch mud tire...
Have had these tires on for just under a year on a JK Rubicon that hardly gets driven. Dry traction is great. Snow traction on un-plowed roads is good. Wet traction is as good or better than any other 35 inch mud tire. Traction in rocks and loose dirt (Crawlorado style) is amazing. While on some difficult rock trails recently, we never spun a tire until it came off the ground. Very impressive tire. Better than the Duratrac, which everyone around here seems to run.

I have never felt so secure and confident in a tire's ability to get me through snow/over ice. I do not have any added weight in the truck for traction. I drive very aggressively and have never had these tires lose traction due to acceleration, braking, or cornering...
I put these tires on my truck for a snow tire, after reading the reviews and my dad recommending them to me (he plows and has bought three sets of these tires, after comparing them to others he has bought for plowing). I love these tires! I have never felt so secure and confident in a tire's ability to get me through snow/over ice. I do not have any added weight in the truck for traction. I drive very aggressively and have never had these tires lose traction due to acceleration, braking, or cornering. Additionally, they really aren't any more noisy than the A/Ts I had on the truck before, which were probably at about 2/32 tread depth (if even that much) when I put these on. The last point I want to make is that these tires have shown no signs of wear, except for losing the colored lines along the tread that tires have when they are brand new. I cannot recommend these tires highly enough, and as long as these tires remain in production, I will rely on them for my winter/snow tires.
Most customers rate the General Grabber X3's dry traction as excellent, with scores predominantly 9s and 10s. High marks highlight confident grip and stability on rugged terrain, aligning perfectly with its off-road maximum traction design.

...Also these tires handle exceptionally, when these got put on I could tell a difference immediately and it felt like a brand new jeep the way it handled. I've gotten it up to 90mph and there is no shake from 0-90mph...
I used to run 33" Mickey Thompson baja MTZ and upgraded to 35" General Tire Grabber X3 and I have nothing negative to say about these tires, they are amazing. These are significantly more quiet than my smaller MTZ's and handle better. I drove them all around the mountains in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia. I even took them on a 45 minute dirt and gravel trail through the mountains and they performed exceptionally. I was very concerned about tire noise as not many reviews are out on these, but they are sooo quiet for a mud terrain. With my MTZ's on the highway I wouldn't be able to make phone calls because I couldn't hear(soft top) with the combination of wind and tire noise. Now with my X3's I can easily hear when making phone calls on the road because of the significantly quieter tire noise. Also these tires handle exceptionally, when these got put on I could tell a difference immediately and it felt like a brand new jeep the way it handled. I've gotten it up to 90mph and there is no shake from 0-90mph. Yes they are heavy for jeep tires and it did lower my MPG but you don't buy a jeep put 35's and a 3 inch lift on for the MPG. I can't tell any visible tread wear yet but I would buy these tires again if my jeep lasts that long.

...What's amazing is the lack of road noise I hear in my 2 dr soft top for an aggressive tire it's quite.. so far we've had a lot of rain not to mention recently snow and ice so how did it handle? Absolutely flawless!...
I have a lifted Jeep Wrangler complete premium aftermarket suspension and it's my daily so I drive it on the beautiful Jersey roads constantly lol and take it all over the Pine Barrens on the weekends so finding a happy medium has been hard and costly but After waiting a bit for reviews from fellow jeepers and reputable sources to include forums these tires have gotten rave reviews across the board not to mention at a fraction of the cost which I can testify to lol . I also wanted a bit heavier tire to really get a got plant on any surface Which these tires absolutely give me keep in mind buying these tires won't give you good gas mileage but again you won't fit these on a Prius either ha! The tread depth which is a nice 21/32 really bites good compared to my Ko2's 15/32 ! What's amazing is the lack of road noise I hear in my 2 dr soft top for an aggressive tire it's quite.. so far we've had a lot of rain not to mention recently snow and ice so how did it handle? Absolutely flawless! Of course depending on your driving habits. Which mine are average I've had them for 4 days and I love them ! Not bias considering I've always been a Bfg fan and customer..

...For driving characteristics you couldn't tell a difference from these and a highway tire. They're quiet, keep traction in the slickest of environments...
I bought these back in January for my Jeep. So far they've proven to be the best tire I've ever owned. For driving characteristics you couldn't tell a difference from these and a highway tire. They're quiet, keep traction in the slickest of environments, and are hands down one of the best looking tires on the market in my opinion. This Jeep is my daily driver and my weekend wheeler. These tires serve both purposes insanely well. During the winter I wheeled in upwards of 6 feet of snow and they did great. Aired down to 7 psi on 8 inch wide wheels, never had a bead pop and they air down great. I've only had them for 2,500 miles but it looks like these tires are still brand new. Im expecting to get close to, if not over 50,000 miles on these tires. I like them enough that I'll put these on my K10 as well. It appears that you really can't go wrong buying General tires.
