The Ventus V2 concept2 (H457) is Hankook's High Performance All-Season tire developed for the drivers of mid-level sports cars, sports coupes and performance sedans looking for dynamic styling and all-season performance. Designed to combine a cutting-edge appearance with responsive performance, the Ventus V2 concept2 delivers all-season traction in dry, wet and wintry conditions, even in light snow.

Ventus V2 concept2 tires feature a high-grip, silica-enhanced tread compound to combine all-season traction with lower rolling resistance that promotes vehicle fuel economy. This compound is molded into a directional tread design featuring a continuous center rib flanked by interlocking intermediate blocks and notched shoulders to increase steering response and braking performance. Four wide circumferential grooves and a V-shaped tread pattern help drain water from under the contact patch to resist hydroplaning and enhance wet traction while shoulder block notches, 3D intermediate tread blocks and engineered sipes increase the number of biting edges to promote foul-weather traction.

The tire's internal structure features two wide steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped, high-density nylon to aid in maintaining footprint contact pressure to enhance overall cornering and handling performance. High-hardness bead fillers in the sidewalls promote handling and steering response.

I feel the tires sticking to the ground in wet weather. I can hear the tires evacuating water in a very quiet spray of water.

I have over 1800 miles on tires now. These tires are very quiet. I feel the tires sticking to the ground in wet weather. I can hear the tires evacuating water in a very quiet spray of water. The tires perform very quickly on my Honda Accord 2.0T touring car. I am very happy with these and glad that I took a chance knowing that Goodyear Assurance Comfort Drive tires do what the manufacturer says they do. These tires are new since September 2020 and worth every penny. They are amazing. I can take curves just like the description says

...really good in wet conditions. so much better than the Hankook that came with the car...

These are the best suv tires and tires in general I have ever had and lightyears better than the original tires on my flex. really good in wet conditions. so much better than the Hankook that came with the car. for not being snow tires they are also pretty good in light snow when on the road and going up my steep driveway.

would buy these again in a heartbeat... my only issue is that I wish they were make in the USA. I was surprised to find they were made in Chile which is not the worst thing in the world.

...Winter traction is good, in the better half of all-season tires, with enough traction to get moving and stop adequately. As to be expected, ice traction is mediocre...

I've had good luck with high-end Goodyear tires on our sedans and crossovers, which led me to select these Goodyear Assurance ComfortDrive tires for the Murano. The Murano leans toward luxury rather than sport, and these tires work in tandem with that mission. It handles well, but it isn't overtly sporty. The ride is excellent, as the tires soak up many small imperfections, and steers accurately with adequate feedback. While new, I know these tires will be rather silent on most road surfaces, which has been my experience with this tire on other vehicles we've owned. Wet traction is a B+. Winter traction is good, in the better half of all-season tires., with enough traction to get moving and stop adequately. As to be expected, ice traction is mediocre. Really, though, these tires offer a smooth and quiet ride above all other characteristics.

...I had very little snow experience, but with what I had, it had very little slippage and traction was good...

ride could be smoother. Corning is very Good. High speed is also very good. Wet driving cuts through puddles like a knife, didn't experience any hydroplaning. I had very little snow experience, but with what I had, it had very little slippage and traction was good. One of the biggest issues with these tires, was the gas milage. I had a 25% drop in my mpg from the factory MAJESTY SOLUS. I was averaging 30-31 mpg with the Kumho and now it's 27-28 mpg, disappointing. It came down between GoodYear & Michelin's. I think I would choose the Michelin's. I have better respect for the Kumho's now comparing to the very expensive GoodYear's.
But overall I'm happy with the ride, handling of the tires. Hopefully they will hold up long.

...These Goodyear Assurance tires do admirable in snowy conditions, for an all-season tire. Granted, they are not winter/snow tires, which would be better in the winter snow and ice, but, they do fine...

Best tire we have had on this older Honda Civic to date. Very comfortable tire with excellent handling and traction in both dry and wet conditions. These tires are holding up well for longevity, I expect to get at least the rated mileage out of them. I recommended these tires to two other friends with similar vehicles and they purchased them and love them as well. These Goodyear Assurance tires do admirable in snowy conditions, for an all-season tire. Granted, they are not winter/snow tires, which would be better in the winter snow and ice, but, they do fine. I recommend these tires.

...My new Goodyear Assurance Comfort Drive tires are a big step up as far as ride noise shock absorbing treadwear confidence in the curves and overall worth the price of 207.00 each... I still dust people at the light with a smooth transfer of power to the tires and much better wheel spinning. I only felt one light spin then grip with sand on the road...

The tires are breaking in nicely after 4 days of city and highway driving. They really do absorb the bumps in the road like a luxury car with no jarring. The tires just keep rolling along. Let them break in for a few days of driving since they are new when you get them. There is no road noise that I can hear. My tires have a nicer presence including footprint. The ride height has gotten me off the ground with the 11/ 32 of tread wear rated at 700 wear out rating and an A rating. The temperature rating is A also. I feel like I dont have to worry about nails like my OEM tires that were on the car for 10982 miles. I got rid of the Goodyear Eagle touring tires. My new Goodyear Assurance Comfort Drive tires are a big step up as far as ride noise shock absorbing treadwear confidence in the curves and overall worth the price of 207.00 each. They are 2 lbs heavier than the OEM tires but they have smoothed out my powerful turbocharged engine on my Honda Accord 2.0T touring car. The car feels like it has very nice endurance running shoes and not like a race car with very light tires like my OEM tires. I find myself looking at the profile and stance of the tires. They really make my car look like a formidable opponent. I still dust people at the light with a smooth transfer of power to the tires and much better wheel spinning. I only felt one light spin then grip with sand on the road. Goodyear has a winner here. I am familiar with the Goodyear Assurance Comfort tires since I had my mother put some on her 2009 Maxima S back in 2014 I believe. I look forward to driving my car with the new tires even more now and not having to worry.

...The car feels more stable and confident, less body roll and better road feedback... They absorb bumps nicely and have great cornering stability...

Initial review, just mounted these tires to replace the junk Hankook Kinergy GTs that came stock. A little background, I am picky about my tires. I jut had 1,000 miles on the stock Hankooks, and they are terrible.

I usually choose Michelins or Continentals, but the reviews and price for the Comfort Drives were too good to pass up. Immediately I noticed a positive difference. The car feels more stable and confident, less body roll and better road feedback. They are also admirably quiet, especially over bumps. They are firmer than the stock tires, not unrefined, they just give the car a firmer feel which I prefer. They absorb bumps nicely and have great cornering stability. Overall, it made the car feel slightly more sporty while keeping a respectable amount of smooth ride. I will update as I rack up the miles but my initial reaction is that these are good tires.

...They're noticeably quieter and have a smoother ride than my previous Pirelli Cinturanto P7's...

Driving about 30,000 miles a year, I was looking for a tire that was quiet, had long tread life and still did well from a performance perspective. The Assurance Confortdrive so far, is an excellent combination of all three. They're noticeably quieter and have a smoother ride than my previous Pirelli Cinturanto P7's. The steering response is excellent, and they've performed well in both rain and snow. I'm very happy with this choice and would get them again.

...This tire is a gem .. it's a great blend of comfort, handling, and wet, snow and dry performance.

Winter in Montana is always interesting with a blend of snow, ice, rime, and then big puddles of water every other week when it all melts. I bought this tire knowing it was a compromise, meaning that it's not a "snow tire" (such as with prolific sipes or studs), and also not a "high performance" tire; i wanted something that would not be squirmy like a "winter" tire, but would still do well in snow and ice. This tire is a gem .. it's a great blend of comfort, handling, and wet, snow and dry performance.

When I lifted my JSW with stiffer springs, ride quality suffered -- and so did my passengers. I got these tires to help address the ride. These tires live up to their "comfort" moniker without sacrificing too much grip. Well, ok, there they're certainly not performance tires, but grippy enough for everyday spirited driving. The treadwear has been excellent and, as mentioned, the have improved the ride quality of the car dramatically. It'll never be luxo-barge smooth, but these tires are fairly adept at quieting expansion joints and small potholes. Winter 22-23 was mild enough in CT that I did not mount my dedicated winter tires (Michelin x-ice), and the very light snow or rain I encountered were no problem for these Goodyears. I'm satisfied at one year in, and was thrilled to get the tires during a Tire Rack x Goodyear promotion with some hefty discounts.
