Blizzak WS90 calloutsThe Blizzak WS90 is Bridgestone's Studless Ice & Snow winter tire developed for drivers of sedans, coupes, minivans and crossovers looking for confident control in a variety of difficult winter weather. When winter driving conditions are at their worst, Bridgestone's Blizzak WS90 winter tires are designed to be at their best.

The directional pattern of the Blizzak WS90 features increased block stiffness to deliver more responsive steering in addition to improved wear life, and Bridgestone's EdgePerformance Technology Package includes full-depth features and interlocking sipes to provide impressive performance longer through the tire's life. The tread pattern features greater contact area and 15% more block edges than the Blizzak WS90's predecessor, increasing ice traction and reducing braking distances in slippery conditions. It is molded from Bridgestone's next generation Multi-Cell compound with bite particles, which allows the tire to remove the thin layer of water that develops between the tread rubber and icy surfaces, enabling the tire to better grip the ice. Silica enhancements in the compound further improve grip in snow and on ice.

Blizzak WS90 Studless Ice & Snow tires meet the industry's severe snow service requirements and are branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol.

Blizzak WS90 tires feature snow platforms that act as winter wear bars and notify drivers when they are near the end of the Multi-Cell compound (actual depth of Multi-Cell compound varies slightly by tire size). Beneath the Multi-Cell compound is Bridgestone's best winter compound, but without the Multi-Cell feature.

Install Bridgestone Blizzak WS90 tires in sets of four only.

Due to the traction capabilities of Blizzak WS90 tires, Bridgestone recommends using them only in sets of four to provide the best handling characteristics and tire performance.

Hankook Dynapro AT-M Reviews

Feedback consistently shows the Hankook Dynapro AT-M delivers excellent dry traction (frequent 9-10 scores) and strong wet performance with reliable hydroplaning resistance, aligning well with its all-terrain purpose. Winter capabilities earn praise in snow and deep snow conditions, though ice traction shows more variability (some 6-7 scores). Drivers highlight above-average comfort with smooth ride quality and minimal noise for an all-terrain tire. Treadwear receives consistent positive marks, with many users noting durability across varied surfaces. While a few lower winter scores suggest cautious driving on ice, the tire's core strengths in dry/wet traction and rugged terrain performance make it a solid choice for on-road adventurers.

...Wet traction is better than any tire I've ever owned - it was raining cats, dogs, and anything else you can think of last night and I was happily going faster than everybody else without any hydroplaning. No tire spin during mildly aggressive acceleration, either. I've owned several of the same type of Suburbans with many different tires and these ones are by far the best in wet weather...

Fantastic tires at a great value. I would definitely recommend this tire! I simply made a purchase on price, and not much else, but for once that actually worked out.

Wet traction is better than any tire I've ever owned - it was raining cats, dogs, and anything else you can think of last night and I was happily going faster than everybody else without any hydroplaning. No tire spin during mildly aggressive acceleration, either. I've owned several of the same type of Suburbans with many different tires and these ones are by far the best in wet weather.

No snow around here so I don't know they will do in that. I did do some light off-roading in mud just to get the new tires dirty and they seemed to perform well.

Even at highway speeds these tires don't hum at all - I expected them to make a little noise because they are all-terrains, but it seems the mild tread pattern makes for silent operation.

If you are a serious off-road enthusiast or want something that looks really cool, I would suggest a more expensive tire with a more aggressive tread pattern, but as an affordable replacement tire for your truck or SUV this a good choice.

Very happy with the traction and ride quality of this tire. I have driven in the snow several seasons and have been very impressed. They also do a great job resisting hydroplaning. I live in Northeast Pennsylvania where the roads are terrible and collect huge puddles of water. In the heaviest of rains I feel very confident driving my Durango with these tires. My only complaint is that they've gotten much louder on the highway after about 20k miles. I think its partially my fault and I should have rotated them about every 5k as opposed to 10k miles since they are more aggressive.

...Good dry corning, braking, acceleration, and nice ride with no noticeable noise...

At 55,000 miles I was shopping for tires to replace the factory Michelin LTX AT2's on my '19 Tundra Crewmax 4WD. Price and performance were considerations. I read reviews on the Dynapros, most of which were very positive. The pricing was better than most competitors, especially considering the Severe Weather Rating that I wanted for visiting family in the mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania. I got the tires, they mounted and balanced easily. First impressions were good. Good dry corning, braking, acceleration, and nice ride with no noticeable noise.

My first drive on wet roads changed my impression. These tires are on par with some of the worst performing truck tires I've had when it comes to wet traction. They hydroplane often, spin tire on moderate acceleration, and the rear of my truck sometimes kicks out. I wondered how these could be Severe Weather Rated if they can't handle a day of misty rain? I finally got to drive in winter weather. Wet snow that turned to slush. The tires were awful. Rear of truck kicked out at 38 MPH on a curve, traction control light flashed when the tires spun as I tried to leave a green light. I could get the Michelins to spin if I wanted. The Hankooks spin when I don't want them to.

It's a shame because they have been great on long highway trips, balanced well, ride comfortably, and were priced well. But, I bought them to tackle snowy weather and get my family and I safely through the mountains of PA when visiting and on my local backroads when it's bad outside. They don't inspire confidence on anything but dry road so they fail at their intended purpose. I've varied tire pressure by up to 6 lbs in 2lb increments and it didn't help. They are wearing well with rotating at 5k mile intervals. My next tires might by Nokians as I had great luck in the past with them.

...On dry southern California pavement the traction is fine.

Hankook Dynapro AT-M’s

The Good (at least “decent”) were on a used Nissan Frontier 2WD pickup when I bought it. I presume these were factory tires. I’ve put 10k miles on them myself; I believe the tires have 30K on them (the truck is now at 30k miles) and they still have a decent amount of tread left.

A) They wear long and even and they track straight.
B) On dry southern California pavement the traction is fine.

The Bad (unacceptable)
A) These tires have horrible wet weather traction. This little truck will get stuck on wet grass on flat ground even with 200 lbs of sand bags over each rear tire and with the rear end differential locked. In wet weather they are unusable. In snow? "Fuggettaboutit!"
B) The tires are getting louder and louder and louder as they wear.

Given the other options, I wouldn’t buy them no way, no how for an “All Terrain” tire.

No way these are a “winter tire”. I believe Mr. T would say, “I piddee-da foo' who puts them on a truck in the snow.”

This is my second set of this tire which I love. I have 54,000 miles on this set but they'll need to be replaced soon. They are an awesome quiet and smooth tire on the highway. I've never had a flat, or puncture. I 've considered getting a more aggressive tire but I don't do any serious off-roading and would be sacrificing the smooth ride which is what matters 95% of the time for me. I live in very snowy area and they do pretty well. I could get a better snow tire but again.. the ride and wear-durability is most important to me. I would highly recommend.

These tires are very compliant and quiet...

These were the OE tires on my Frontier Pro 4x. I use this truck for commuting, hauling my camper, and some off-highway adventures. This tire has been a long haul workhorse. At 57K miles, they could probably go a little longer if I just used the truck on pavement without the trailer. These tires are very compliant and quiet. Off road they will pick up mud and gravel. Icy mountian fire roads show a little slippage, which is more of a challenge on descents than during a climb. As for the trailer, they are very stable in cornering and on highway. Good choice from Nissan to use these as OE for the truck.
