The Dynapro HP2 is Hankook's Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season tire developed for the drivers of crossovers, sport utility vehicles and prestigious pickups looking for year-round, on-road capabilities. Designed to combine good ride comfort, long wear and low rolling resistance to promote vehicle fuel economy, Dynapro HP2 tires also deliver all-season traction in dry, wet and wintry conditions, even in light snow.

Dynapro HP2 tires feature an all-season silica enhanced tread compound molded into a symmetric design that blends wet, dry and wintertime traction. Hankook's 3D Shoulder Block technology and radially oriented sipes that lock together for greater tread block stiffness improve dry road handling, while a continuous center rib promotes steering control and feedback. Four wide circumferential grooves help channel water from under the tire's footprint to resist hydroplaning and maintain wet traction. Engineered siping in every tread block adds hundreds of biting edges to help generate snow traction.

The tire's internal structure includes two wide steel belts reinforced with spirally wound jointless nylon cord to combine high-speed durability with ride uniformity. A high-density polyester casing blends steering response with ride comfort.

Hankook Dynapro HP2 Reviews

Customers praise the Hankook Dynapro HP2 for its excellent comfort (9-10 ratings) and smooth, quiet ride. Treadwear receives strong marks with many perfect 10s, though a few reports of premature wear lower the average. Winter traction shows mixed results (4-8 range), with some drivers noting limited grip on ice despite decent snow capability. Wet performance earns consistent 7-8 scores for reliable hydroplaning resistance and controlled handling. Dry traction stands out as a highlight, with near-universal 9-10 ratings for confident cornering and stability. Ideal for crossover/SUV drivers prioritizing year-round comfort and dry-road confidence, though those in harsh winters may want deeper snow/ice capability.

...Only had a few months driving in snow but so far no issues...

Tires were OEM for my new 2021 Nissan Rogue. Great ride quality and very quiet tire. My thing is smooth and quiet and these deliver dare I say almost as good as the Goodyear Comfortreads that I had on my '17 Altima. Only had a few months driving in snow but so far no issues. I'm impressed by these tires, my first South Korean tire and I'd consider again.

...I will say they surprised the crap out of me on black Friday we got 27 inches of snow and they went thru it very well...

These tires seem to be wearing out quickly and hankook doesn't stand behind them cause they came on the car brand new. I will say they surprised the crap out of me on black Friday we got 27 inches of snow and they went thru it very well. They are ok in the rain but not great. Must be a soft compound only have 6000 miles on car and already down 2/32. Hankook admitted they are not a great tire and won't help any cause they are a cheaper grade tire for new cars to keep price down. So buyer beware of that.

...I've not had them through much deep snow but in light and moderate coverage and ice they have done well...

The Dynapro HP2 tires have performed well in every kind of weather we receive in Colorado. I've not had them through much deep snow but in light and moderate coverage and ice they have done well. Hot and dry, no issues. Cornering is good and ride comfort has been admirable. Priced lower than ultra premium tires, these are an attractive quality option and have performed well.

Great value tire with easy wear. I rotate at the oil changes (3k ish). No worries with the wet weather that I had with the stock tires. I use this vehicle for work commute, but take my truck if any winter weather is threatening, so I don't have snow/ice input for these, but I would expect that they would handle it. NC location, so snow isn't much of an issue, but ice can be more frequent than any of us would like.
